Jim Jordan Discusses Last Minute Addition of Zebley, and Mueller Expectations

by sundance

{ } ~ Representative Jim Jordan discusses his perspective on the last minute addition of Aaron Zebley to protect the collective interests of the DOJ/FBI small group and coup-plotters… It’s worth noting how the DOJ quickly promoted Aaron Zebley to the position of “Deputy Special Counsel” just yesterday to afford: (1) increased justification; and (2) enhanced credibility, for their narrative.

9/11 victims’ fund bill passes Senate, ending months of doubts for ‘ecstatic’ first responders

By Gregg Re

{ } ~ The Senate overwhelmingly passed a bipartisan bill to ensure a victims’ compensation fund related to the Sept. 11 attacks never runs out of money… fulfilling a pledge made by President Trump and ending years of uncertainty as the fund rapidly depleted. Lawmakers sent the bill to President Trump’s desk after a 97-2 vote in favor of the legislation. Only two Republicans, Sens. Rand Paul and Mike Lee, voted no. “While I support our heroic first responders, I can’t in good conscience vote for legislation which to my dismay remains unfunded,” Paul wrote on Twitter. “We have a nearly trillion dollar deficit and $22 trillion in debt. Spending is out of control.” He added: “As I have done on countless issues, including disaster relief and wall funding, I will always take a stand against borrowing more money to pay for programs rather than setting priorities and cutting waste.” September 11th first responder John Feal had told Fox News that Trump contacted him by phone on Tuesday and told him the 9/11 victims’ compensation fund bill would be passed by the Senate that day, and signed into law on Friday. The White House called me this morning — for the men and women that I keep bringing down here after 15 years, and I’m just so ecstatic for them” Feal said on “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday. The vote came after New York Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck scumbag-Schumer, both Democrats, reached an agreement with Lee and Paul to bring up the bill with two amendments sponsored by the GOP senators…

U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr Successfully Convicts Flynn Intel Group – Sentencing October 18th

by sundance

{ } ~ The U.S. DOJ led by Attorney General Bill Barr celebrates the conviction of Bijan Rafiekian, 67, of San Juan Capistrano, CA, along with his co-conspirator, Kamil Ekim Alptekin, 42, of Istanbul, Turkey & the Michael Flynn Intelligence Group for… “conspiring to act as an agent of a foreign government, conspiring to make false statements and willful omissions in a FARA filing, and acting as an agent of a foreign government. ”Despite the incredibly sketchy nature of the case; and despite a possibility any conviction will be dismissed by presiding judge Anthony J. Trenga; a jury has convicted Rafiekian, Alptekin and the Flynn Intel Group of not filing the correct FARA paperwork and therefore evidencing a conspiratorial intention to falsify documents. DOJ Press Announcement – After three hours of deliberations a federal jury convicted a California man today on charges of conspiring to act as an agent of a foreign government, conspiring to make false statements and willful omissions in a FARA filing, and acting as an agent of a foreign government. John C. Demers, Assistant Attorney General for National Security, G. Zachary Terwilliger, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and John P. Selleck, Acting Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, made the announcement after U.S. District Judge Anthony J. Trenga accepted the verdict…

Government Violates Judge’s Order in Michael Flynn Case Despite General’s 2 Years of Cooperation

{ } ~ One of the cases involved in the prosecution of General Michael Flynn has returned a verdict of guilty on Tuesday… but in so doing the government violated Judge Emmet Sullivan’s orders for Gen. Flynn’s cooperation despite that he has fully cooperated for two years. Federal prosecutors seem to have suddenly decided that Flynn’s testimony ordered by Judge Sullivan would not be beneficial to their case which prevented Flynn from bringing the truth to the court of law as planned. Apparently, the government did not want to use Flynn’s testimony effectively defecating all over judge Sullivan’s order that they do so. On Tuesday, a federal jury convicted Bijan Rafiekian, Gen. Flynn’s former business partner, on a pair of foreign-agent felony charges connected to work the two did for Turkey during the tail of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign for president. Flynn would later go on to serve as President Trump’s national security adviser. The 67-year-old Rafiekian was convicted for being an unregistered foreign agent in the U.S., and conspiracy to violate the law. He was also charged with making false statements to the Department of Justice. Rafiekian was convicted despite the fact government prosecutors could not prove that Turkey funded the project at the center of the government’s case, according to the Washington Post. Rafiekian faces up to a 15-year prison sentence on two felony counts. But the decision in the Alexandria courtroom shocked Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell. On Tuesday afternoon, Powell uncharacteristically took to Twitter to voice her concerns over the actions of the government in the Rafiekian case. “A jury in Alexandria just returned verdicts of guilty against Mr. Rafiekian for ‘conspiracy & acting as an unregistered agent of Turkey,’” Powell tweeted. “We note: General Flynn has cooperated with the government for two years. Obviously, they did not need his testimony to get a conviction.”…

Border Patrol Now Arrested Over 1,000 African Migrants At Southern Border

{ } ~ The border patrol says they have now arrested over 1,000 African migrants at our southern border. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol revealed in a press release… “U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Sector have arrested over 1,100 people from countries in Africa since May 30.” Would someone explain how African migrants ended up in Mexico and at our Southern border? U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) provided an update on its recent apprehensions at the southern border, which include over 1,000 migrants from various African countries in less than two months — and that is in just one sector. “U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Sector have arrested over 1,100 people from countries in Africa since May 30,” CBP revealed in a press release Friday. “The apprehension of people from African countries illegally crossing our borders continues to increase,” Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Raul L. Ortiz said in a statement included in the release. “Our agents this year have encountered people from 51 countries other than Mexico including 19 countries from the continent of Africa.”…

Trump sues House Ways and Means panel to block disclosure of his tax returns

by Kevin Breuninger

{ } ~ President Donald Trump on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against the Democrat-led House Ways and Means Committee, as well as New York state’s attorney general and its tax chief… to block the disclosure of years of his tax returns. The president’s lawsuit, which was filed “in his capacity as a private citizen,” came less than a month after the Ways and Means Committee sued the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service to obtain Trump’s federal returns. Trump’s new legal action intervenes in that suit, according to the complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. Trump’s lawyers argue that the House panel “lacks a legitimate legislative purpose” to use a recently passed New York state law to get Trump’s returns. They also claim that state law violated the president’s First Amendment rights, because it was enacted to “discriminate and retaliate against President Trump for his speech and politics.” “We have filed a lawsuit today in our ongoing efforts to end Presidential harassment,” said Trump’s lawyer, Jay Sekulow, in a statement. “The actions taken by the House and New York officials are nothing more than political retribution.” Trump has refused to show his tax documents before or after winning the 2016 presidential election, despite a longstanding tradition among modern presidential candidates to disclose their returns…

commie-Sanders Campaign Collides With Economic Reality

Thomas Gallatin: News leaked last week that staffers working for Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign were frustrated and complaining about receiving “poverty wages.” The irony is rich: Sanders the millionaire socialist has long railed against corporations for paying “starvation wages” as he stumps for a $15 minimum wage, but he was exposed as a hypocritical political hack.

In response to the embarrassing news, commie-Sanders insisted over the weekend that his staffers would now be paid the promised $15 minimum wage, though this announcement came with a significant caveat: staffers’ hours would be cut to pay for it. As commie-Sanders campaign manager Faiz Shakir explained, “We look forward to continuing those discussions and obviously are disappointed that some individuals decided to damage the integrity of these efforts before they were concluded. As these discussions continue, we are limiting hours so no employee is receiving less than $15 for any hours worked.” Welcome to real-world economics. Yet Shakir and his boss threw those complaining staffers under the bus for the sin of naively believing that commie-Sanders actually meant what he so loudly preaches.

commie-Sanders himself expressed anger at his complaining staffers, stating, “It does bother me that people are going outside the process and going to the media. That is really not acceptable. It is really not what labor negotiations are about, and it’s improper.” Spoken like any good socialist dictator, “Your time is my time.”

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) quipped, “So does this fall under the category of hypocrisy, irony, or poetic justice? All three? Can’t make this stuff up.”

The Blaze’s Aaron Colen noted the obvious economic problems associated with artificially raising the minimum wage, stating, “This situation is an instructive example of the downside of more than doubling the minimum wage. Companies don’t just suddenly get more money to pay employees. They have to make tough decisions; usually either cutting hours, or worse, cutting staff.”

What will the greater impact of this be upon the rest of the Democrat primary field? Clearly, Sanders would love to force the rest of his opponents into spending their campaign cash to match his expensive virtue signal. Nevertheless, we fully expect Democrats will continue to ignore the Congressional Budget Office’s recent reportwarning that a $15 minimum wage would cost at least 1.3 million jobs, while at the same time raising the cost of living for millions more. Socialism is only for the true believers. ~The Patriot Post
