Starr: dirty cop-Mueller’s Letter To Barr Over Summary Report Was An ‘Unfair Whiny Complaint’

by Mike Brest

{ } ~ Former special prosecutor Ken Starr called special counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller’s letter to Attorney General William Barr an “unfair whiny complaint,”… during his Monday appearance on “The Story With Martha MacCallum.” dirty cop-Mueller wrote a letter to Barr in March, alleging that Barr’s four-page summary of the dirty cop-Mueller report “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions,” before adding that, “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation.” “In terms of what you said earlier, Ken Starr, I want to ask you about — you said dirty cop-Bob Mueller deserves the sharpest criticism for sandbagging Bill Barr. What do you think about that?” MacCallum asked. “Terrible. Well, his letter that was then leaked on the very eve of Bill Barr’s testimony, was essentially, I believe, an unfair whiny complaint when he wasn’t saying that the letter, the March 24 letter from Bill Barr that summarized the conclusions, which he was obliged to do,” Starr stated. “That wasn’t a discretionary call, he was obliged to do exactly what he did. Then here comes dirty cop-Bob Mueller with this letter, which is then leaked.” He continued, “That is to me the unforgivable sin. He, dirty cop-Bob Mueller, badly injured this attorney general and the attorney general didn’t deserve that. But, of course, that created its own huge firestorm, including suggestions that the attorney general was totally mischaracterizing the report and so forth. When you look at that March 24 letter, I think Bill Barr was honestly trying to do the right thing and to do it in the right way.”

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signs controversial ‘heartbeat’ bill into law

by Caleb Parke

{} ~ Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed the “heartbeat” bill into law Tuesday morning… Kemp kept his campaign promise in signing the bill, HB 481, technically called the “Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act,” which will prohibit abortions in the state after a heartbeat is detected, as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. The law allows exceptions in the case of rape, incest, or if the life of the mother is in danger. Before the signing of the bill, State Rep. Ed Setzler pointed to science, law, and the simple fact that common sense says a beating heart is a sign of life and those children should receive the full protection of the law. State Sen. Renee Unterman, a former nurse who ushered the bill through the state Senate, said she has waited her entire time as a legislator for this moment, calling it the “culmination of my political career.” “Georgia is a state that values life,” Kemp said before putting his signature to the LIFE Act. “We stand up for those who are unable to speak for themselves.” Kemp said he recognizes the bill will be challenged. “But our job is to do what is right, not what is easy,” Kemp added. “We will not back down. We will always continue to fight for life.”…

Ummah Day in Philadelphia

by Marc A. Scaringi

{ } ~ Young schoolchildren attending the Muslim American Society Islamic Center in Philadelphia are being taught to be enemies of Jews and are being indoctrinated in the culture of violent Islamic jihad… This is extremely disturbing at any time, but even more so now with the rise in anti-Semitism and the horrific murders of innocent Jews from the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh to Chabad of Poway, north of San Diego. On April 22, 2019, the Muslim American Society in Philadelphia uploaded a video of its “Ummah Day” celebration. Ummah Day is the time of year when Muslims come together and celebrate their cultural traditions. It’s about Muslim pride — as the Quran teaches, “You are the best community (Ummah) raised up for the benefit of humanity; enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong and believing in God…” (Quran 3:110). The video of their celebration, however, reveals something sinister is going on there. In the video, young boys and girls dressed in traditional Muslim attire sing and recite what the Muslim American Society claims are traditional Muslim songs and poetry. But if you listen to the lyrics you will hear the boys singing, as they don the Palestinian keffiyeh, how they will fight to destroy Israel and reconquer Jerusalem with lines such as, “Glorious steeds call us and lead us onto paths leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The blood of martyrs protects us. Paradise needs real men!” and “Take us, oh ships, until we liberate our lands — until we reach our shores and crush the treacherous ones! Not to be outdone by the boys, the girls recite lines extolling the virtues of suicide attacks such as, “We will defend the land of divine guidance with our bodies, and we will sacrifice our souls without hesitation.” And, then reveal their own Islamic warrior ethos claiming, “We will chop off their heads, and we will liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque. We will lead the army of Allah fulfilling His promise, and we will subject them to eternal torture.” The Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in all of Islam, located in the Old City of Jerusalem, is controlled by the State of Israel. In the video you will also see Muslim women looking like typical public-school teachers organizing and supervising the children as they recite these heinous and barbaric lines — as if they were singing lines from The Little Mermaid in the local middle-school spring musical. That’s perhaps even more chilling… This need to stop and removed from the USA.

The EU Courts the Arab League

by Judith Bergman

{ } ~ The first summit between the European Union (EU) and the Arab League, formally known as the League of Arab States (LAS), took place on February 24-25… “Europeans and Arabs have a long and rich history of cultural, economic, commercial and political exchanges. This, together with the geographical proximity and interdependence, has contributed to institutionalise a strong relationship between the EU and the League of Arab States (LAS). Within this framework, the common aim is to develop closer cooperation to realise their shared aspirations to ensure peace, security and prosperity in both regions,” the website of the European Union announced. “The summit marked the start of a new dialogue between the EU and the LAS. Leaders committed to hold EU-LAS summits regularly, with the next summit set to take place in Brussels in 2022” according to the EU press release, which also included President of the European Council, Donald Tusk’s statement that, “There are differences between us. But we face common challenges and have shared interests. We need to cooperate and not leave it to global powers far from our region.” Tusk referred to the values gap between the states of the Arab League and those of the European Union as “differences between us”. Such euphemisms however, do not explain the evident lack of even the pretense, on the part of the EU, to comply with its own stated human rights policies. “The European Union,” the EU professes, “is based on a strong commitment to promoting and protecting human rights… Human rights are at the heart of EU relations with other countries… EU policy includes, among other things…

GOP Needs to Be More Than ‘Not Democrats’

Robin Smith: The pageantry of the political Left is getting a great deal of media attention due to the 22 candidates that crowd the Democrats’ field of hopefuls. This might be terrific news for conservatives, knowing that the primary on the Left will force candidates to the most severe extremes will further expose their very simple, bifurcated platform: Democrats hate Donald J. Trump and they want to run America like Venezuela, promising “free” stuff to all.

This gives Republicans an incredible opportunity to run on the successes of the economy and the renewal of the American workers’ opportunities to prosper and earn due to the policies put into place over the last two years. Yet the temptation for some is to run safe, timid races that just declare, “We’re not them.”

Establishing the very real and monstrous difference between the two political parties is necessary in the coming months. Republicans must contrast the very perpendicular position of Democrats who are proudly embracing socialism instead of capitalism, which has been at the very heart of America’s uniqueness in leading the world’s economy.

According to a Public Opinion Strategies poll in February, 77% of Democrats support and believe that our nation would do best “if it were more socialist.” At the same time, key voting groups such as white suburban women, voters in key 2020 presidential states and all suburban voters disagree with policies promising “free” health care and “free” education under the banner of Democratic Socialism through the redistribution of wealth and increased taxation. When presented with the price tag, most people understand that someone has to pay for the “free” stuff — and it’s not those who don’t work and disproportionately receive it.

But, if there’s a way for Republicans to lose, again, they have a proven track record of doing so. Two years ago, the newly elected Donald Trump proceeded to methodically implement tax cuts that helped the middle class, not just the wealthy; cut hundreds of job-killing regulations that are taxes masked as some better way enforced by government; revisit, redefine, and reinforce that trade must be fair to protect American workers who’ve lost jobs to the global economy. Even so, we watched the midterm elections put Nancy Pelosi back in charge of a Democrat-controlled House.

House Republicans failed to articulate a substantive platform that reflected the successes from the White House — an effective economic policy, a move to secure the southern border, and an unparalleled growth in our energy independence that is positioning America to be free of the entanglements of an ever-unstable Middle East. And, what happened?

Democrats won 40 seats in November 2018, only needing 23 to return the House speaker’s gavel and control to Pulosi and her band of extreme Left freshmen, like commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar. These 40 pickups were due in part to palpable hatred of Trump in some districts. In other districts, it was because Republicans had not delivered on campaign promises to address the skyrocketing costs of health insurance premiums caused by scumbag/liar-nObamaCare or to deal with the aptly described invasion via America’s southern border by illegals exploiting our laughable immigration structure.

But, take heart, conservative Patriots. It appears there is a plan and strategy to correct the failings of the past with “Preserving American Freedom,” the Republican Study Committee’s 2020 budget plan that prioritizes the constitutional functions of the federal government and cuts inappropriate and wasteful spending. If successfully implemented, the roadmap will balance America’s out-of-control federal budget in just six years and begin reducing the dangerous federal debt that serves to choke future generations with excessive taxation.

While the economy is proving its strength and American workers are both working and experiencing wage growth, this plan would cut government spending by $12.6 trillion over the next decade, which shifts more growth to the private sector and cuts the public debt. A very critical part of this plan is to address significant drain on the annual budget via mandatory spending that is never reformed and soon to be insolvent — Social Security and Social Security Disability Insurance programs. Without raising taxes, the retirement eligibility age is proposed to change, apply inflation measures to benefits with a phase-out of some benefits for high-income earners, while protecting benefits of those with lower incomes at retirement.

For SSDI, reforms that prevent “double-dipping” while accessing both the insurance program and unemployment benefits, updating eligibility criteria that eliminates some non-medical factors, and pursing and eliminating fraud, the program that serves to replace income for those injured or disabled will have a greater longevity.

Yes, there’s a path for the House to flip back to Republican control — to see a balanced budget proposal move and even for the Senate GOP to gain a seat or two. It’s simply running on the successes we’re experiencing in a newly energized economy, the independence of America’s energy sector, and needed reforms to make health care consumer-driven and responsive to patients, just to name a few key policy possibilities. These, and other issues, certainly demonstrate that Republicans are more than #JustNotThemDems, but the courage comes when doing more than reciting campaign promises.

Republicans, have the courage to lead. ~The Patriot Post
