Left or Liberal?

by Dennis Prager

{ prageru.com } ~ Tell the average American you’re a liberal and they’ll assume you’re on the political left… Yet, leftists and liberals hold very different positions on key issues. In this video, Dennis Prager explains how the tenets of liberalism like a belief in capitalism and free speech have more in common with conservatism than with the identity politics and racial resentment preached by the left.   https://www.prageru.com/videos/left-or-liberal

dummycrats-Want to ‘Raid Medicare to Pay for Socialism’

by Charlie Spiering

{ breitbart.com } ~ Donald Trump criticized dummycrats-Democratic Socialists on Thursday for promising leftist dreams of universal health care through Medicare.,, “They want to raid Medicare to pay for socialism,” Trump said during his rally in Indiana, as the crowd booed. dummycrats-Democrats like Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders and his endorsed candidates connie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and socialist-Andrew Gillum have joined the fight for universal health care through Medicaid, and the idea polls well in their campaigns. Trump warned that socialism would hurt the economy, citing the political and economic disaster caused by socialist policies. “Somehow I don’t see Indiana being the next Venezuela,” he said. “That’s what would happen too.” Trump warned Republicans that dummycrats-Democrats would run on raising their taxes, shut down coal mines, cutting spending to the military, abolishing ICE, and loosening border security and immigration laws…  https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/08/30/donald-trump-democrats-want-to-raid-medicare-to-pay-for-socialism/

Brett Kavanaugh hearing repeatedly interrupted by dummycrats-Dem objections, protests

by Alex Pappas and Judson Berger

{ foxnews.com } ~ Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing turned into a political spectacle within moments of Tuesday’s kickoff… as top dummycrats-Democrats tried to overtake the session with a rapid-fire string of objections and protesters shouted and screamed from the audience. The chaos led Republican Sen. John Cornyn to remark, “This is the first confirmation hearing subject to mob rule.” More than an hour and 15 minutes after the hearing began, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, moved past dummycrats-Democratic attempts to delay and delivered his opening statement, over the sustained shouts of protesters who were being escorted out of the room. “Judge Kavanaugh is one of the most qualified nominees – if not the most qualified nominee – I have seen,” Grassley said. The disruptions continued as lawmakers attempted to make opening statements. Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch struggled to deliver his prepared remarks, as protesters audibly shouted over him…  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/09/04/brett-kavanaugh-hearing-interrupted-by-democratic-senators-protests.html

Mattis Sets Preconditions for U.S. Troops’ Withdrawal from Syria

by David Adesnik

{ defenddemocracy.org } ~ In a rare press briefing this week, Secretary of Defense James Mattis identified three conditions that must be met before U.S.troops withdraw from northeast Syria… But those conditions will not be met easily. Tension may arise between the Pentagon’s commitment to a responsible withdrawal and President Trump’s vow to withdraw the troops “very soon.” Mattis’ first precondition is the defeat of the Islamic State, a point on which he is in full agreement with the president. The secretary’s second, related prerequisite is the training of local forces capable of providing security after the U.S. departure, a subject the president has not addressed. Gen. Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who appeared with Mattis, said that training those forces “is going to take some time,” but did not elaborate. Mattis’ final precondition, which may complicate matters, is for the Syrian peace process in Geneva “to start making traction towards solving this war.” Since 2012, the Syrian government and opposition have engaged in talks based on the principles of the Geneva Communique, yet progress remains elusive. That document requires the establishment of a transitional governing body with “full executive powers,” an intolerable demand for the Assad regime. In December 2015, UN Security Council Resolution 2254 confirmed the foundational role of the Geneva Communique while calling for free and fair elections in Syria within 18 months. Then-Secretary of State hanoi-John Kerry called UNSCR 2254 “a milestone because it sets out specific concepts with specific time frames.” None of the resolution’s targets were met, because neither Assad nor his patrons in Tehran and Moscow had any intention to comply… http://www.defenddemocracy.org/media-hit/david-adesnik-mattis-sets-preconditions-for-us-troops-withdrawal-from-syria/

Mueller, scumbag-Comey, and the Deep State Rescue of Sandy Berger

by Jack Cashill

{ americanthinker.com } ~ In April 2005, a Republican-led Department of Justice did something quite unusual. After catching a dummycrats-Democratic operative stealing and destroying highly relevant classified documents… the DoJ punished him as though he had stolen the Snickers bars from the office vending machine. On October 28, 2005, another curious event took place in those same halls of justice: an allegedly Republican special prosecutor indicted a White House advisor of his own party for a series of process crimes unrelated to the original intent of his investigation. As will become clear, this double injustice not only foreshadowed future injustices, but it also served as a practice run of sorts for the players involved. Several of these players would come center stage once again in the long-running political drama that debuted in 2016. The dummycrats-Democratic operative on that barely warm seat in 2005 was former liar-Clinton National Security Advisor Sandy Berger, since deceased. The attorney general at the time, the feckless Alberto Gonzales, had been on the job less than two months when the Berger deal went down. Gonzales’s deputy attorney general, scumbag-James Comey, however, had been on the job for more than a year. It was under scumbag-Comey’s supervision that the DoJ reviewed the case against Berger. It was a doozy…  https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/09/mueller_comey_and_the_deep_state_rescue_of_sandy_berger.html

Labor Day and the American Worker

by Nate Jackson: Today is Labor Day, and that means the “unofficial” end of summer on a day of celebration of the American worker. The holiday originated in the late 19th century and was born of the labor movement, though many Americans, led by President Grover Cleveland, pushed for and secured a September date to distinguish it from the socialist/communist “International Workers Day,” or “May Day,” on May 1. Labor Daywas made an official federal holiday in 1894.

In any event, let’s take the opportunity to survey some good things happening in the American economy and for the workers we celebrate.

Last year, Republicans in Congress passed — without a single dummycrats-Democrat vote — major tax reform, allowing Americans of all stripes to keep more of their own money. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump’s administration has enacted an aggressive agenda of deregulation. In part as a result of these moves, the economy is now growing at better than 4%, the headline unemployment rate is now below 4% (including record-low unemployment for minorities), and median household income is up more than 4%. It’s no wonder consumer confidence is the highest in two decades and optimism among blue-collar laborers is soaring.

Yes, we repeatedly highlight those numbers because the mainstream media would rather focus on Trump’s latest tweet or tiff. Why? Because a good economy is bad for dummycrats- Democrats.

In fact, Trump’s very election is a response to bad dummycrats-Democrat policy that created the financial crisis of 2008. After eight long years of economic stagnation under Barack scumbag/liar-nObama, liar-Hillary Clinton really didn’t even bother campaigning in the “Rust Belt” and called an awful lot of Americans — the ones most hurt by the scumbag/liar-nObama economy — backwards, pessimistic, and downright “deplorable.” On the other hand, Trump was telling American workers that he remembered them and wanted to help them. That has become a mutually beneficial relationship.

So keep in mind that things are looking up, and with that, a happy Labor Day to those Americans taking a break from laboring today!
