Chairmen scumbag-Nadler, scumbag-Cummings and scumbag-Schiff Announce Immediate

Round of Trump Investigations

by sundance

{} ~ CTH previously outlined the likely path Democrats will follow when they take control of the key congressional committees starting tomorrow {Go Deep}… For those who walk through the deep weeds of DC politics, the sequence of 2019 events -based on accepting the historic resistance pattern- is entirely predictable. Today, Fox News confirms the intention of scumbag-Jerry Nadler (House Judiciary), scumbag-Elijah Cummings (House Oversight) and scumbag-Adam Schiff (HPSCI) as soon as they are sworn into office: They’re about to get subpoena power – and they plan to use it. As Democrats officially take back control of the House when the new Congress is seated Thursday, newly empowered House Committee chairmen are preparing to launch a slew of Trump administration investigations. […] In a press release Wednesday, scumbag-Cummings said his committee plans to “investigate waste, fraud, and abuse in the Trump Administration,” as well as “other issues that affect the American people every day.” … All of these scumbags need to impeached.

‘Real Justice Department’ veteran emerges as dirty cop-Mueller’s top courtroom adversary

by Rowan Scarborough

{} ~ A former federal prosecutor has emerged as special counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller’s most persistent courtroom critic… It’s not Rudolph W. Giuliani, a former U.S. attorney and now President Trump’s ubiquitous defender, or any of cable TV’s prosecutors-turned-pundits. He is Eric A. Dubelier, a litigator for the Reed Smith law firm who knows international law and the D.C. playing field. He served eight years prosecuting cases as a Justice Department assistant U.S. attorney in Washington. He refers to his former employer as “the real Justice Department,” implying that Mr. dirty cop-Mueller’s team is something less. His biting remarks have come in months of court filings and oral arguments. Mr. Dubelier has depicted Mr. dirty cop-Mueller as a rogue prosecutor willfully ignoring Justice Department guidelines. He has accused Mr. dirty cop-Mueller of creating a “make-believe crime” against his Russian client, Concord Management and Consulting, which is accused of funding a troll farm that interfered in the 2016 election. So far, the federal judge presiding over the case has sided with Mr. dirty cop-Mueller…

JW Sues DOJ for Special Counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller’s Security Detail Costs

{} ~ Judicial Watch announced today it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for records of costs incurred… by and logs maintained by the security detail for Special Counsel dkirty cop-Robert Mueller (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-02537)). Judicial Watch filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after the agency failed to respond adequately to its March 19, 2018, FOIA request for: The Special Counsel’s office reportedly has spent over $25 million so far. In a related lawsuit filed in October 2017, the Justice Department had refused to release the proposed budget of dirty cop-Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel Office, but later was forced to release details from the heavily redacted August 2 memorandum in which Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein granted broad authority to Special Counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller, three months after dirty cop-Mueller’s appointment. The initial appointment memo, controversially, was written in May 2017. “The Justice Department, the FBI, and Special Counsel dirty cop-Mueller continue to operate as if they are above the law,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The American people have a right to know how much taxpayer money is being thrown at dirty cop-Mueller’s massive investigation. Judicial Watch has never before seen this level of secrecy surrounding the operation of a special or independent counsel.”…

rino-Romney assails Trump in New Year’s op-ed: ‘The president has not risen to the mantle of the office’

by Victor Morton

{} ~ Days before he officially becomes a U.S. senator, rino-Mitt Romney took to The Washington Post to fire a shot across President Trump’s bow… saying Mr. Trump had made a “deep descent” in December and is hurting the national character. In an op-ed column published online Tuesday evening, Mr. rino-Romney, now a Republican senator-elect for Utah, came down hardest on recent moves in foreign policy and Cabinet positions related to that. “After he became the nominee, I hoped his campaign would refrain from resentment and name-calling. It did not. When he won the election, I hoped he would rise to the occasion. His early appointments of Rex Tillerson, Jeff Sessions, Nikki Haley, Gary Cohn, H.R. McMaster, John Kelly and James Mattis were encouraging. But, on balance, his conduct over the past two years, particularly his actions this month, is evidence that the president has not risen to the mantle of the office,” he wrote. Mr. rino-Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, acknowledged that Mr. Trump had never been his pick for 2016. And he was careful to note that “it is not that all of the president’s policies have been misguided.” He singled out conservative judges, tax and regulatory cuts, China-trade crackdowns and criminal-justice reform as legitimate achievements. “But policies and appointments are only a part of a presidency. To a great degree, a presidency shapes the public character of the nation. A president should unite us and inspire us to follow ‘our better angels.’ A president should demonstrate the essential qualities of honesty and integrity, and elevate the national discourse with comity and mutual respect,” he said, going on to blame Mr. Trump for being the equivalent of gasoline for a national political climate already ablaze…

‘The Existential Threat of the Climate Crisis’ Threatens ‘The Whole of God’s Creation’

{} ~ While vacationing in Hawaii on Friday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pulosi (D.-Calif.) announced in a statement that she will be naming Rep. Kathy Castor (D.-Fla.)… to chair a new committee the incoming Democrat-controlled House of Representatives will create to deal with “the climate crisis.” Pulosi described the “climate crisis” as an “existential threat” that threatens “the whole of God’s creation.” “The American people have demanded action to combat the climate crisis, which threatens our public health, our economy, our national security and the whole of God’s creation,” said Pulosi. “Together, we must protect public health by reducing air pollution, create jobs by making America preeminent in green technologies, defend our national security by preventing climate-driven instability and uphold our sacred moral responsibility to leave a healthy, sustainable future for generations to come,” she said…Pulosi is a fool.

dinky-Warren Is a Presidential Pretender

by Nate Jackson: And just like that, the 2020 presidential campaign kicked off. Elizabeth “Fauxcahontas” dinky-Warren didn’t even wait for the 2019 ball to drop in Times Square before announcing her bid for the White House. We’d guess that most Americans are beyond tired of the relentless campaign cycle, making dinky-Warren’s announcement — less than two months after the 2018 midterms — worthy of about 300 million eye rolls, sighs, curses, or other expressions of political exhaustion.

Nevertheless, she persisted, so we’ll offer some brief observations. Being the first big name to launch her campaign does not make dinky-Warren the frontrunner. Like a few of the other Democrat presidential hopefuls, dinky-Warren will be in her 70s by Election Day 2020, and there are younger alternatives — one of whom is also a woman and an actual minority.

Which brings us to the real problem with dinky-Warren: She routinely pretends she’s something she’s not. We’re not just talking about her hilariously inept attempts to prove some imagined Native American heritage — a lie she used to advance her academic career before adapting it for political gain. In fact, as we predicted more than once, she used her ancestry claim to seed her presidential aspirations, though it was conspicuously absent from her exploratory committee launch video.

Far more consequentially for the nation, dinky-Warren pretends she’s for the little guy and the middle class. Her announcement was replete with references to how her political career was inspired by fighting Wall Street fat cats after the 2008 financial collapse. She claims to stand for the middle class and minorities against systemic oppression from the racist and the rich. That too is a lie, not because those things don’t ever happen but because “social justice” is merely Marxism repackaged. dinky-Warren and her fellow Democratic Socialists used the financial crisis — itself created by Democrat policies — to double down on bigger government and fatter cats. In other words, the very policies she claims help the middle class actually harm most Americans. Indeed, as she says, “America’s middle class is under attack.” By Democrats.

But never mind that; Warren and probably a dozen other Democrats are hoping that those lies, mixed with a healthy dose of fake news and Trump Derangement Syndrome, will propel them to victory in 2020. ~The Patriot Post
