2017 is not an active year for political races. There are only a couple of regularly scheduled elections, such as the Virginia Governor’s race. Many of the other elections to be held this year will be special elections.
One of those special elections is occurring in South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District.
SC-5 was represented by Mick Mulvaney, who was swept into office in the 2010 Tea Party wave. Mulvaney was a consistent conservative and a fiscal hawk. Those were the qualities that put him on President Trump’s radar and eventually landed him the nomination to be President Trump’s Director for the Office of Management and Budget.
South Carolina voters now need to replace him. The good news is another great conservative went into the administration. The bad news is that we lost a great conservative in Congress.
America needs another solid conservative to replace Mulvaney.
That conservative is Sheri Few.
She is perhaps the only candidate in the race who realizes that we must repeal Obamacare, not give America a Republican “Obamacare lite.” She supports the First Amendment Defense Act, introduced by Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. She has signed a term limits pledge and she supports President Trump’s call to slash the EPA budget by a quarter.
We need conservatives in Washington who will embrace the banner of bold colors, not pale pastels. We need conservatives who will stand up to the Establishment and their insane desire to be nothing more than tax and spend moderates.
Tea Party Nation endorses Sheri Few for Congress in South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District.
