House passes $3T socialist bill with some Republicans

By M. Dowling{ } ~ The most expensive bill in history, a socialist $3 trillion bill, passed the House this evening. Democrats hailed it. They’ll also be there playing fiddles when the US burns under unaffordable debt too…It narrowly passed 208-199. Fourteen Democrats voted “no,” while one Republican, Rep. Peter King broke with the GOP and voted “yes.” It’s not clear if he’s the only Republican who went to the dark side, but in any case, liar-Pelosi can say it’s bipartisan. Much of what is in the bill has nothing to do with the virus. “If you don’t understand the suffering, you haven’t been paying attention, said socialist Dem Rep. Nita Lowey, (D-NY). We have seen it, we’re living it, which is why we wanted only targeted bills, not lifelong socialism embedded in our nation. In the bill, there are poison pills. For example, the bill gives deportation protection to almost every illegal alien in the country, which means it will be forever. It also puts them on a quick path to citizenship. It allows marijuana shops to access banking services. Someone needs to explain to me what that has to do with the virus. It includes mail-in voting, which is very open to corruption. Despite the fact that the bill is loaded with socialist freebies and goodies, liar-Pelosi, D-Calif. said it’s not. “This is not a Christmas tree, there’s nothing joyful about this,” liar-Pelosi said. “This is a very strategically planned piece of legislation.” She planned it with just a few Democrat elites in secret and with no Republican input. Rep. scumbag/mad-Maxine Waters, D-Calif., chided members who pay lip service to first responders and heroes but don’t back it up with money. “Put up or shut up,” scumbag/mad-Waters told her colleagues. “Now is the time to do it.” Dubbed the Heroes Act, it gives money to teachers, nurses, firefighters, basically union workers, and it extends unemployment so we will never get people back to work. Two-thirds of those on the current unemployment get more on that than if they were working. There is hazard pay in the bill to put that concept into the nation’s psyche — another entitlement, another human right. In addition to sending checks of $1200 to adults and children, checks will go out to foreigners who don’t belong in the country. liar-Pelosi couches it as a bill to help our heroes but most of it has little to do with them and everything to do with setting up socialist ideals. Giving out cash to people without properly targeting it when we are deeply in debt is insanity. Just open up the government and stop spending! liar-Pelosi is a Stalinist witch. Shut her down and Rep. King should be ashamed of himself.

Trump set to restore partial funding to WHO after pause to investigate coronavirus response

By Victor Garcia & Samuel Chamberlain{ } ~ The Trump administration is on the brink of restoring some funding to the World Health Organization, a month after the president announced that it would be suspended…while the government investigated the WHO’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. According to a five-page draft letter to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus obtained by “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Friday, the administration will “agree to pay up to what China pays in assessed contributions” to the WHO. “We’re told the president supposedly has agreed to sign the letter if he hasn’t already,” host Tucker Carlson said Friday. “It’d be interesting to know who convinced him to do that.” A senior administration official confirmed to “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that Trump has agreed to the plan set out in the draft letter. “Despite its shortcomings, I believe that the WHO still has tremendous potential, and want to see the WHO live up to this potential, particularly now during this global crisis” the draft letter reads, apparently in President Trump’s voice. “That is why I’ve decided the United States will continue to partner and work with the WHO …” it adds. “China owes a massive debt to the entire world, and it can start with paying its fair share to the WHO.” Previous U.S. funding of the WHO amounted to about $400 million per year. If the U.S. does match China’s contributions, the new funding level will be about one-tenth of that amount. “If China increases its funding to the WHO,” the letter adds, “we will consider matching those increases.” The draft letter begins by stating that the U.S. review of the WHO’s coronavirus response “has confirmed many of the concerns Trump raised last month and identified others.” It concludes by calling for “commonsense reforms of the WHO,” including “a universal review mechanism to publicly report on member state compliance with International Health Regulations … including timely and effective declarations of Public Health Emergencies of International Concern.”…

This smoking gun just proved loose lips liar-Joe Biden’s guilt in scumbag/liar-nObamagate

by ~ scumbag/liar-nObamagate is the biggest political crime in American history. And in one unbelievable way the stakes got even bigger for Democrats…That’s because this smoking gun just proved loose lips liar-Joe Biden’s guilt in scumbag/liar-nObamagate. Americans finally learned the answer to which scumbag/liar-nObama administration officials unmasked Lt. General Michael Flynn after the NSA picked up the incoming national security advisor on a FISA wiretap speaking with the Russian Ambassador during a routine conversation during the Presidential campaign. Someone then leaked his name to the Washington Post which is a felony punishable by up to ten years in prison. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul argued this was proof loose lips liar-Biden was guilty in the scumbag/liar-nObamagate scandal where the scumbag/liar-nObama administration and the FBI spied on the Trump campaign to try and frame the President and his associates for colluding with the Russians. “This was being led by Vice President loose lips liar-Biden, if not the president, and we need to get to the bottom of it to make sure it never happens again,” Paul stated. “This is Vice President loose lips liar-Biden using the spying powers of the United States to go after a political opponent. He’s caught red-handed here. Vice President Biden is caught red-handed eavesdropping on a political opponent’s phone calls. That to me is alarming,” Paul added. The entire Russian collusion investigation has now been exposed as at best a misguided farce. At worst it was a criminal conspiracy hatched at the highest levels of the scumbag/liar-nObama administration to try and sabotage Donald Trump’s presidency. Now there is documentary evidence that loose lips liar-Joe Biden lied on Good Morning America when he said he didn’t know anything about the investigation into Michael Flynn. These documents only raise more questions about the ever growing scumbag/liar-nObamagate scandal.

ODNI to offer election security briefings for both parties in run-up to November

By Brooke Singman{ } ~ Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell on Friday announced that the U.S. intelligence community will lead new election security threat briefings for presidential candidates…their campaigns and major political parties ahead of the 2020 election, Fox News has learned.  A senior administration official told Fox News the newly-Senate confirmed director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center inside ODNI, Bill Evanina, will serve as the intelligence community’s leader of the “critical effort.” “U.S. elections are the foundation of our nation’s democracy,” Evanina said Friday. “We are committed to supporting this administration’s ‘whole of government’ effort to secure the 2020 election.” The senior administration official told Fox News that the change “represents an important improvement in simplification to the threat notification process.” The briefings, which the official said would “begin in the near future,” will be delivered to candidates themselves, and their campaigns: President Trump’s and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee loose lips liar-Joe Biden’s campaigns. The official also told Fox News that the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee would also receive briefings. The official told Fox News that the briefing would be given “in a fashion where they receive actual details of the intelligence” related to them.“ The Intelligence Community will continue to work in partnership with the FBI and Department of Homeland Security to identify and integrate threat information,” the official said. “The elections team will act swiftly to deliver the timely and thorough assessments to those affected by potential malicious influence.” The official stressed that the FBI retains “all of their law enforcement responsibilities and capabilities” in terms of election security, as does “DHS maintain all of their state and local election responsibilities.” “This was not a unilaterial ODNI decision,” the official said, adding that the new process was “coordinated and approved by all agencies involved,” including the FBI, DHS and other agencies inside the intelligence community…   .

The U.S.-Iraqi Relationship Is Coming to a Head—and That’s a Good Thing

by John Hannah & Maseh Zarif{ } ~ In June, the United States and Iraq will launch a “strategic dialogue” that is supposed to address all issues in their bilateral relationship, including the presence of U.S. forces…With Iraq now serving as ground zero in the escalating confrontation between the United States and Iran, it’s hard not to feel like the U.S.-Iraqi relationship might be coming to a head. That is a good thing, and the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump should make sure that it does. It’s high time that Washington reassessed its Iraq policy. Over the past year, the relationship has grown increasingly dysfunctional from the standpoint of U.S. interests. Iraqi security services have brutally killed hundreds of innocent civilians for peacefully protesting the government’s rampant failings. Iran has systematically exploited the Iraqi economy to circumvent U.S. sanctions. Worst of all, Iranian-backed militias—some sanctioned by the United States, most on Baghdad’s payroll—have conducted several rocket attacks against U.S. troops, diplomats, and private-sector actors, with the Iraqi government holding no one to account. This situation is not sustainable. Since 2003, year in and year out, the United States has provided Iraq with hundreds of millions of dollars in economic and military assistance, as well as crucial diplomatic backing. That support was premised on the assumption that Iraq would emerge over time as a key partner in preserving stability and security in the Middle East. Instead, the Iraqi government today is headed increasingly in the opposite direction, visiting horrific levels of violence on its own people, while standing aside as its territory, institutions, and economy are subverted by the United States’ most dangerous foe in the region, Iran. The upcoming strategic dialogue offers what could be the last chance to reverse this destructive trajectory and salvage a viable long-term U.S. partnership with Iraq. This opportunity should not be squandered. At the heart of the Trump administration’s approach should be the introduction of much stricter conditionality of U.S. support. This is a matter of necessity as much as choice. The COVID-19 pandemic and its economic fallout will put unprecedented strains on the U.S. budget for years to come. Going forward, there will be no tolerance for foreign assistance programs that fail to pay visible dividends for U.S. interests—let alone those which appear to be strengthening enemies such as Iran. The time has come for some hard choices to be put before the Iraqi government. It needs to be brought to the full realization of how much it has to lose if it doesn’t begin demonstrating at least some minimal resolve to resist Iranian imperialism and fight for Iraqi sovereignty…

The Taliban Is Still the Main Driver of Violence in Afghanistan

by Thomas Joscelyn{ } ~ On Tuesday, a pair of monstrous terrorist attacks reminded the world that the war in Afghanistan rages on. In the Afghan capital of Kabul…gunmen stormed a bustling hospital operated by Doctors Without Borders. The jihadists killed at least two dozen people, including newborn babies and mothers in a nursery. Elsewhere, in the eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar, a suicide bomber detonated himself at a funeral for a local police official. More than two dozen people were killed and numerous others wounded. The Islamic State’s Khorasan province (ISIS-K) quickly claimed responsibility for the latter bombing in Nangarhar. No party immediately accepted fault for the Kabul maternity ward shooting, though it is widely suspected that ISIS-K is behind that attack as well. The Taliban denied culpability for both attacks. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad quickly seized upon the Taliban’s denial, portraying the group as a possible counterterrorism partner. “We note the Taliban have denied any responsibility and condemned both attacks as heinous,” Pompeo said in a statement. “The Taliban and the Afghan government should cooperate to bring the perpetrators to justice.” Khalilzad  tweeted the same, claiming the Taliban and Afghan government should cooperate “against a common enemy that perpetrates” such barbarism. Pompeo and Khalilzad are the main architects of the U.S.-Taliban withdrawal agreement, which was finalized on February 29 in Doha. The deal that was supposed to pave the way for a peace process has been a spectacular failure. There is no hint of peace more than two months after it was signed. Why? The short answer: The Taliban doesn’t want peace. This hasn’t stopped Pompeo and Khalilzad from adopting a view of the Taliban that is entirely inconsistent with reality. They ignore the fact that the Taliban, not ISIS-K, is the main actor driving violence throughout the country. While the attacks in Kabul and Nangarhar are indeed “heinous,” the Taliban’s actions are no less so. The Taliban, and not ISIS-K, still terrorizes more civilians than any other party in Afghanistan. And while Pompeo and Khalilzad have argued that the Taliban can be America’s de facto counterterrorism partner, there is no reason to think that is true. There is no evidence indicating that the Taliban has broken with al-Qaeda, despite the supposed counterterrorism assurances enshrined in the February 29 accord…

.How the scumbag/liar-nObama Administration Shattered the Rule of Law

 Ben Shapiro

This week, former President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama reemerged from hibernation to lecture Americans about the threat to rule of law posed by the Trump administration. After Attorney General Bill Barr announced that the Department of Justice would be dropping its case against President Donald Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn, who had pled guilty to one count of lying to the FBI, scumbag/liar-nObama told his former aides, “our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk.” He explained, “There is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. … And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”In reality, of course, Flynn was never charged with perjury. He was charged with lying to the FBI in the course of an investigation, a separate and far lesser offense, particularly given the fact that his alleged lie was immaterial to any underlying crime. In fact, as America found out over the past two weeks, Flynn wasn’t supposed to be the subject of any investigation at all: The FBI had decided to close an investigation into Flynn in January 2017, even after supposedly nefarious calls between Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok — the same man who pledged to lover and former FBI attorney Lisa Page that Donald Trump would never be president and suggested an “insurance policy” against that possibility — then intervened to keep the investigation open. The next day, during an Oval Office meeting, President scumbag/liar-nObama himself asked then-FBI Director scumbag-James Comey about the Flynn-Kislyak communications. Next, Comey upped the ante: He avoided following normal FBI-White House protocols in order to interview Flynn, and scumbag-Comey’s deputy director, Andrew McCabe, avoided informing Flynn of his rights. Nonetheless, the FBI agents who conducted the interview suggested that they did not think Flynn was lying during that interview. As it turns out, notes between top FBI officials at the time said, “What’s our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?” Flynn would later plead guilty to one count of lying to the FBI — at least in part because the FBI was threatening his son with prosecution. This should be a massive scandal. It should be a massive scandal because, at the very least, it demonstrates the nation’s chief law enforcement agencies, prompted by political actors at the very top of the government, racing to bend the rules in order to pursue a case they were convinced they would make: the case that the Trump campaign had conspired with the Russian government. From the purposefully botched Carter Page Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to the absurdly conjured prosecution of Flynn, the most powerful institutions in American life violated the protocols meant to restrict abuse, firmly secure in their own feelings of moral rectitude. That’s the best-case scenario. The worst-case scenario is far darker: that by early January, with no evidence of Russian collusion, leaders of the nation’s political and law enforcement agencies decided that guilt was irrelevant, and that the Trump administration had to be strangled in the crib. This seems like a major stretch, but in a highly partisan era, such a narrative will have legs.Meanwhile, blithe in the knowledge that they were on the side of the angels, members of the scumbag/liar-nObama-era government continue to chide Attorney General Bill Barr for ending a charade of a case. Their incredible inability to see how their conduct looks beyond the echo chamber of sycophantic media sources only undermines their credibility further. As it turns out, President scumbag/liar-nObama isn’t wrong — at least not entirely. Our basic understanding of the rule of law is at risk, not because Bill Barr stepped in to prevent an unjust prosecution but because our institutions under the scumbag/liar-nObama administration were politicized in ways that should shock the American conscience.  ~The Patriot Post
