liar-Pelosi Blames Republicans For Delaying Relief Funds, Bret Baier Says ‘Stop There’

By Rusty Weiss{ } ~ liar-Nancy Pelosi attempted to blame Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Republicans for holding up a bill funding the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)… but was called out by Fox News anchor Bret Baier. The PPP, which was finally passed by the House on Thursday, provides an additional $310 billion in funding for the program. “We’re very pleased that the Senate finally accepted the fact that we needed more money for testing, for hospitals, for lower – smaller businesses to participate in the Paycheck Protection Program,” liar-Pelosi said. “It took them … a couple of weeks, but they finally did.” “Mitch McConnell likes to say we delayed the bill. No, he delayed the bill,” the House liar-Speaker provably lied. Baier, in an appearance on “The Five,” tore that argument to shreds. “Let’s just set the record straight here,” he explained. “There was a clean bill that once they found out that the small business pot was going to be dry, there was a clean bill to put more money in it.” “liar-Nancy Pelosi did not go forward with that, period, the end, stop there,” explained Baier. He went on to describe liar-Nancy’s assertion as “political jujitsu,” which is really just a polite way of saying she lied. liar-Pelosi’s comments are not only provable lies according to Bret Baier, but they’re also provable lies against her own words. In an appearance on MSNBC last week, liar-Pelosi celebrated “victory” in blocking emergency funding for the PPP and even congratulated her fellow Democrats for blocking it.

House staff concluded scumbag/commie-Brennan suppressed Russia evidence

by ~ A former chief of staff for John Bolton says House staff members determined former CIA Director scumbag/commie-John Brennan, one of President Trump’s harshest critics, “suppressed” intelligence… showing Russia wanted scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 election.  “They said that CIA Director scumbag/commie-Brennan suppressed facts or analysis that showed why it was not in Russia’s interests to support Trump and why Putin stood to benefit from scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s election. They also told me that scumbag/commie-Brennan suppressed that intelligence over the objections of CIA analysts,” Fred Fleitz wrote in a commentary. Fleitz, a former CIA officer and National Security Council chief of staff, was reacting to a report by the Senate Intelligence Committee that defended the 2017 intelligence community assessment on Russian election interference. The committee concluded with “moderate” to “high” confidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin sought to boost Donald Trump’s 2016 election chances. But Fred Fleitz said House Intelligence Committee staff members “found the opposite” after “an exhaustive investigation reviewing intelligence and interviewing intelligence officers.” Fleitz said the staff members told him they found that scumbag/commie-Brennan “suppressed high-quality intelligence suggesting that Putin actually wanted the more predictable and malleable scumbag/liar-Clinton to win the 2016 election.” “Instead, the scumbag/commie-Brennan team included low-quality intelligence that failed to meet intelligence community standards to support the political claim that Russian officials wanted Trump to win, House Intelligence Committee staff revealed. They said that CIA analysts also objected to including that flawed, substandard information in the assessment.” The Senate panel report claimed “investigators found no evidence of political pressure to reach a specific conclusion and determined the assessment by the CIA, FBI, and NSA ‘presents a coherent and well-constructed intelligence basis for the case of unprecedented Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.'” When the Senate panel report was released, scumbag/commie-Brennan took a victory lap, saying, “I’m just very glad that the Senate Intelligence Committee yesterday came out with a report that totally validated the intelligence community’s assessment about Russian interference in the election in 2016 to help Donald Trump.” But the Senate panel conclusion was not the same as that of a House Intelligence Committee report by the Republican majority released in 2018. It found the “majority of the Intelligence Community Assessment judgments on Russia’s election activities employed proper analytic tradecraft,” but the “judgments on Putin’s strategic intentions did not.” The Washington Examiner reported Democrats on the panel released their own assessment that said they found “no evidence” to cast doubt on the assessment…  https://www.  /2020/04/report-house-staff-concluded-brennan-suppressed-russia-evidence/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=wnd-breaking&utm_campaign=breaking&utm_content=breaking

DHS Study Shows Potential of Heat, Humidity to Kill Coronavirus

by Fred Lucas{ } ~ A new Department of Homeland Security study shows that heat, humidity, and sunlight could help to kill the coronavirus, offering a potential literal ray of hope against the pandemic as summer nears… “Our most striking observation to date is the powerful effect that solar light appears to have on killing the virus both on surfaces and in the air,” Bill Bryan, the head of the DHS science and technology directorate, said Thursday at the White House press briefing. “We’ve seen a similar effect with both temperature and humidity as well where increasing the temperature or humidity or both is generally less favorable to the virus.” Bryan pointed to displayed charts that showed on surfaces with temperature between 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit, and 20% humidity, the half-life of the coronavirus was 18 hours. When humidity was cranked up to 80%, the half-life dropped to six hours. With temperature at 95 degrees and 80% humidity, the half-life of the virus was only one hour. It even worked with no sunlight. Bryan said the test was done on nonporous surfaces such as door handles and stainless steel. “As the temperature increases, as the humidity increases, with no sun involved, you can see how drastically that half-life goes down on that virus,” Bryan said. “The virus is dying at a much more rapid pace just from exposure to higher temperatures and just from exposure to humidity.” Bryan stressed that this is not a reason to stop social distancing in summer months, and that continued testing will be done. President Donald Trump was enthusiastic that outdoors might be preferred to indoors. “I think a lot of people are going to go outside all of a sudden. People that didn’t want to go outside, they’ll be going,” Trump said…

Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch to Forgo Salary, Execs to Take Pay Cuts

by Erik Hayden{ } ~ Tiered pay cuts of 15 percent to 50 percent will impact other executives at the media giant… Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch will forgo his salary amid the novel coronavirus pandemic and 700 employees at the company will see pay reductions, the executive said in an internal memo Wednesday. Fox’s executive officers, which include mogul Rupert Murdoch as well as chief operating officer John Nallen, chief legal officer Viet Dinh and chief financial officer Steve Tomsic will go without pay until Sept. 30 of this year, the memo said. Lachlan Murduch wrote that the moves were needed so that “to the greatest extent possible, we are able to protect our full-time colleagues with salary and benefit continuation during the period we are most affected by the crisis.” Rupert Murdoch’s total compensation in fiscal 2019 was $42.1 million while Lachlan took home $42.1 million in total pay, per a company filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission last September. Salary cuts will hit other Fox executives in tiers, Murdoch added: “The rest of my direct-report executive team will reduce their salaries by 50 percent through the same period. And from May 1 through July 31, 2020, our executives at the VP level and above will reduce their salaries by 15 percent.” The Fox CEO noted, “Collectively, these salary reductions will impact about 700 of our colleagues. And we are suspending compensation increases throughout the company, including for the Board of Directors.” The company will also extend its work-from-home policy to May 15, Murdoch stated, and Fox will “modify our approach to returning to normal operations based on recommendations from health experts and elected officials.”…

Saudis Turn on America, Send Flotilla To Sink US Shale and Oil

By Jared Harris { } ~ If you’re lucky enough to be able to leave your home while many are under lockdown, you may have noticed that gasoline is getting absurdly cheap… in at least one area it was sold for under $1 per gallon. Of course, there’s a lot more that goes into that number than the whims of the man who spends a 12-hour shift between the Slim Jims and the lottery tickets.  World demand for gas and oil has plummeted since the start of the current pandemic thanks to a combination of factors, including a sharp decrease in land, air and sea traffic. Supply and demand affects everything, after all, including our own oil markets. For American energy companies, especially those that deal in shale oil, the downturn in demand for oil is a danger to revenue and the livelihoods of the 150,000  who work in the industry. Having successful domestic energy companies is a boon to average Americans, who would benefit from having access to cheap fuel regardless of the designs of other nations. For countries like Saudi Arabia, a powerful player in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries oil cartel, American energy independence is a direct threat to its status quo. Until now, there was little the Middle Eastern country could do to combat the success of United States energy. With the downturn in oil prices and tough times ahead for U.S. oil, the Saudis have taken the opportunity to turn on America in an attempt to bring us to heel. Saudi Arabia isn’t dispatching troops for this attack but is sending a flotilla of supertankers carrying roughly seven times the normal amount consumed in a pre-pandemic month. According to The Wall Street Journal, the tankers are set to arrive throughout April and May. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, seeing the incoming bloodbath for the U.S. energy sector, sent the Saudis a single message: “TURN THE TANKERS THE HELL AROUND.” The glut of oil entering the United States would undercut domestic energy companies, potentially undoing years of progress made under President Donald Trump. It’s unclear when demand for oil will increase again, putting a giant question mark on the employment status of hundreds of thousands of Americans…

Dan Scavino Promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications

by CHARLIE SPIERING{ } ~ President Donald Trump promoted his long-serving aide Dan Scavino to Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications, the White House announced on Tuesday… Scavino has long held the title of Director of Social Media and Assistant to the President, but the new title reflects his ongoing role in day to day communications for the White House. Scavino’s institutional knowledge of White House operations will assist the new team of White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and Director of Strategic Communications Alyssa Farah — brought in by the new White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. “Dan has been one of the President’s most trusted and important aides from the very beginning and will surely continue to excel in his newly elevated role,” Andy Surabian told Breitbart News in reaction to the news. “The White House and the American people are lucky to have him working on their behalf!” Scavino is one of Trump’s “originals” – the term the president uses to describe staffers who worked for him prior to winning his campaign for president. He remains the longest-serving and one of the most loyal staffers in the White House that started working for Trump as a golf caddy when he was 16. Scavino works with the president daily on his social media strategy, especially on Twitter where the president has 77.9 followers, routinely upending news cycles with a single tweet. Sacavino also serves as a conduit from the high-energy internet culture of Trump fans to the president. Former White House communications director Hope Hicks once described  Scavino as “the conductor of the Trump Train,” to the New York Times. Scavino is unique in Washington for ignoring media requests for comment after joining the president at the White House, despite being the subject of several media profiles. Scavino has been described as the “Secretary of Offense” by the New York Times and the “ultimate insider” by Politico. The president praised Scavino in a 2019 Politico profile. “He can really be a very good sounding board,” Trump said. “A lot of common sense. He’s got a good grasp.”

Stop ‘Beijing loose lips liar-Biden’

 Gary Bauer

A pro-Trump super PAC is rolling out a powerful TV ad in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The ad is the first sign that Biden’s horrible record on China, not to mention his son’s financial interests there, will be a major issue in this campaign. The ad notes that for decades DC elites have worked to make one country great — China. And who was leading the effort? Joe Biden. The ad quotes loose lips liar-Biden saying, “I believed in 1979, and said so, and I believe now, that a rising China is a positive development.”The ad goes on to note that China has stolen our jobs and hoarded emergency medical supplies. It tells voters that if they want to stop China, they must stop Joe Biden. It’s a great ad. Watch it here, and please share it with friends and family members. The Plan to ReopenPresident Trump Thursday unveiled his detailed plan for reopening the country and getting America back to work. It’s clear that Trump listened to health experts and to economic experts. After weighing the concerns of both, President Trump, Vice President Pence, and members of the Coronavirus Task Force developed a three-phased plan for reopening the country. The states will not open all at once, and governors will decide how and when their states open up. For example, they could do it statewide or county by county. It’s all fact based and will be determined by how well the coronavirus is contained in each area and how well hospitals and medical facilities are functioning in each area. Below is a brief summary of each phase of the plan.Phase One:All vulnerable individuals (the elderly and those with preexisting medical conditions) should continue to self-quarantine.When in public, individuals should continue social distancing and avoid gatherings of more than 10 people.Non-essential travel should be avoided.Schools and youth camps will remain closed.Businesses should encourage teleworking and common areas should be closed.Restaurants, gyms and movie theaters can reopen under strict social distancing and cleaning procedures.Phase Two:All vulnerable individuals should continue to self-quarantine.When in public, individuals should maximize physical distancing as best as possible, and avoid gatherings of more than 50 people.Non-essential travel is permitted.Schools and youth camps can reopen.Businesses are still encouraged to use teleworking, and common areas should remain closed.Restaurants, gyms and movie theaters can operate under less strict social distancing, but should maintain vigorous cleaning protocols.Phase Three:Vulnerable individuals can resume normal activities, but should avoid crowds.Trips to nursing homes can resume.Businesses and worksites can resume normal operations.Bars, gyms, movie theaters and restaurants can resume normal operations with limited social distancing while maintaining strict cleaning protocols. For more details, click here.I think this is an excellent approach. This continues what has been an incredibly astute effort by the president, vice president, and the Coronavirus Task Force to manage this pandemic, which no one would have predicted a year ago. Some states may be able to reopen any day now. More could open by the end of the month. Even some hard-hit states, depending on their conditions, could reopen by Memorial Day.As you know, many left-wing commentators have spent the last few weeks pushing a false narrative that Trump cares more about the health of the stock market than he does for the health of average Americans. (Check out this story.) Well, I was amused Thursday night as a number of those same talking heads struggled to criticize what appears to be a well-conceived plan! An Amazing ResponseIt’s worth remembering that when all this started, the experts were predicting two million deaths in the United States. The administration had inherited a depleted national emergency medical stockpile. Some states had auctioned off their supply of ventilators because they didn’t want to pay to store and maintain them. Some suggested our healthcare system would collapse. The president and vice president took significant steps to ensure that did not happen. Under Vice President Pence’s direction, we began efforts to mitigate the severity of the outbreak and the fatality estimates quickly fell. Not one person who needed a bed in an intensive care unit was denied a bed. Not one person who needed a ventilator was denied a ventilator. Working with private industries, the president was able to manage existing supplies while rushing new materials into production. By the end of the year, the president estimates we will have more than 137,000 new ventilators to deal with a reemergence of this disease or a new threat.Return to Normal? There’s a big debate about whether the world will ever go back to business as usual regarding travel, telework, and other habits. Dr. Fauci, for example, has suggested that we may never go back to shaking hands again. I think some of this is seriously overblown. But there’s one situation where we must not return to business as usual. As President Trump has said repeatedly, China has taken advantage of America for decades. It has stolen our jobs and our technology, and it was done over multiple decades and tolerated by administrations of both parties. (I remember well the debates I had with George W. Bush during the 2000 presidential primary when I accused him of being weak on China.) This will not be easy. China’s tentacles are deeply embedded all over the country, particularly in American journalism and the tech industry. Virtually every news source in America is owned by a large corporation that wants to grow in China. I have no doubt those relationships are impacting how our news is delivered. Bloomberg News, for example, silenced journalists to appease Beijing. But we’re also learning that Facebook’s fact-checkers are connected to China. The tech giant has announced that it is fact-checking all stories about coronavirus and blocking those it alleges are false. Well, it turns out that one of its fact-checkers is a virologist at a medical school in Singapore who has “collaborative projects” at the Wuhan lab. When The Epoch Times, a great independent newspaper, ran a story on China, Facebook’s “fact-checkers” blocked the story. But that story is now being supported by multiple government sources and by reports from The Washington Post and Fox News. During one of the daily press briefings last week, the president called on a reporter who asked a question with a clear pro-China bias. When Trump challenged the reporter, she insisted that she worked for a private newspaper in Hong Kong. Well, that was true to a point. It turns out that the paper is owned by a former Chinese military officer, and its coverage is sympathetic to the Chinese Communist Party. The struggle ahead is not going to be easy. The struggle against the Soviet Union was hard, but it was never an economic power with the ability to exert such tremendous influence in the United States. By the way, have you noticed that the national Chamber of Commerce, which for years has been one of China’s biggest cheerleaders, has fallen strangely silent as more and more evidence comes to light about China’s negligence, lying, and hoarding of medical supplies?   ~The Patriot Post
