liar-Pelosi Kills Bill, Says Small Businesses Don’t Need Help

by Emily Zanotti{ } ~ Speaker of the House liar-Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the architect behind Democrats’ decision to block $250 billion in additional funding to small businesses suffering because of coronavirus-related lockdowns… now says there’s “no data” to support an influx of emergency cash, even as banks are reaching their lending capacity due to unprecedented demand for aid. liar-Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer (D-NY) moved to block Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) from passing the emergency bill by unanimous consent on Thursday morning. McConnell had hoped that the need for assistance would be evident enough that he would not have to call Congress back from recess to vote on the measure, but Democrats disagreed. McConnell was left incensed, noting that the $350 billion Paycheck Protection Program fund, which guarantees entrepreneurs with fewer than 500 employees low-interest loans that will be forgiven if they use the money to keep workers on the payroll, is “on track to be depleted by the end of this month.” Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin reportedly told McConnell the funds are going fast and, according to Fast Company, some banks, including Wells Fargo, have actually reached their lending capacity after loaning out a shocking $10 billion in just the first week of the program — and Wells Fargo limited its loans to small businesses with 50 or fewer employees. “Given the exceptionally high volume of requests we have already received, we will not be able to accept any additional requests for a loan through the Paycheck Protection Program,” the company said in a statement. “We will review all expressions of interest submitted by customers via our online form through April 5 and provide updates in the coming days.” In her weekly news conference, liar-Pelosi made the shocking claim that American small businesses are not in desperate need of help, claiming there’s “no data” to support expanding the Paycheck Protection Program…

Will scumbag/commie-John Brennan Get Away With It?

by GEORGE NEUMAYR{ } ~ Attorney General Bill Barr, speaking to Fox News about the scumbag/liar-nObama administration’s spying upon the Trump campaign, said… “What happened to him was one of the greatest travesties in American history. Without any basis they started this investigation of his campaign. And even more concerning actually is what happened after the campaign, a whole pattern of events while he was president … to sabotage the presidency — or at least had the effect of sabotaging his presidency.” The scumbag/liar-nObama administration official most responsible for this travesty is former CIA director scumbag/commie-John Brennan. John Durham, the prosecutor whom Barr assigned to examine Spygate, is said to be focusing on scumbag/commie-Brennan. It would appear that Durham has multiple grounds on which to indict him. We are told by the Wall Street Journal that Durham is looking into scumbag/commie-Brennan’s use of the Steele dossier and his attempts to influence the intelligence community’s assessment of Russian interference in the election. Let’s hope Durham is also still examining the origins of the travesty to which Barr referred — that the initial investigation into the Trump campaign “had no basis” to it. It was scumbag/commie-Brennan who initiated the sham investigation, which rested upon nothing more than flaky tips he claimed to have received from foreign intelligence agencies, from Estonia to Great Britain. It was scumbag/commie-Brennan and the Trump-hating Peter Strzok the FBI’s liaison to the CIA, who received a special award from scumbag/commie-Brennan who cooked up schemes to infiltrate the campaign, such as having a Cambridge academic, Stefan Halper, try and entrap George Papadopoulos. And it was scumbag/commie-Brennan who criminally leaked information about the FBI investigation into Trump to the former Nevada senator Harry dinky-Reid. scumbag/commie-Brennan’s CIA was a gusher of leaks before and after the election. Even Peter Strzok couldn’t believe the flagrancy of the leaking. Referring to the CIA as “our sisters,” he said to his mistress, Lisa Page, “our sisters have begun leaking like mad. Scorned and worried and political, they’re kicking in to overdrive.” The “leaking like mad” began at the top with scumbag/commie-Brennan, who was desperate to dirty up Trump before election day. Toward that end, he contacted dinky-Reid in the summer of 2016 to let him know about the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign for alleged collusion with Russia. dinky-Reid has told reporters that scumbag/commie-Brennan used him as the conduit for that leak against Trump during the campaign: “Why do you think he called me?” dinky-Reid broadcast the leak to the media, but even a ruthless partisan like him found scumbag/commie-Brennan’s “ulterior motive” for a senatorial briefing unusual, as he explained to David Corn and Michael Isikoff in their book Russian Roulette. Corn and Isikoff write that dinky-Reid “had concluded the CIA chief believed the public needed to know about the Russian operation, including the information about the possible links to the Trump campaign.”…

Medical Advances Minus the Full Research Apparatus

By Brian C.Joondeph, MD{ } ~ Anecdotal evidence is based on a real-life event, perhaps just a single occurrence. In medicine and science, much current knowledge began with an anecdote… A famous example occurred in 1928, when Sir Alexander Fleming happened to observe that mold developed on an accidentally contaminated staphylococcus culture plate, and that the mold prevented growth of the bacteria. This led to the discovery of penicillin, saving countless lives, based on anecdotal evidence of bacteria not growing near a spot of mold. With World War II creating injuries, infections, and sepsis, penicillin was produced in mass, preserving lives and limbs. Another more recent example comes from my world of retina surgery. An anti-cancer drug, Avastin, was injected into the eyes of a few patients with advanced macular degeneration. These few patients responded well, anecdotally. After this breakthrough was reported at a retina meeting, it almost immediately became the new treatment standard worldwide. There were no prospective, randomized clinical trials, considered the gold standard, just the anecdotal observation that this off label treatment worked and saved vision. Despite being the most commonly used treatment for macular degeneration, Avastin is still not FDA approved for this indication. At the time of inception, the risks were unknown. Could it cause a stroke? Inflammation? Infection? This was a drug that didn’t go through the FDA approval process, at least for injection in the eye, despite it being FDA approved as chemotherapy for metastatic cancer. Were state governors restricting its use? Were media magpies with little medical knowledge, and even less common sense castigating anyone who dared recommend such an “unproven” and “dangerous” therapy? Yet here we are in a similar situation with the drug hydroxychloroquine. FDA approved in 1955, doctors have over fifty years experience using it for malaria prevention and various immune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. But look at the abject hysteria from the media, and even the smart set on the task force. Like any drug, there are potential side effects, some significant, in particular cardiac arrhythmias. Hydroxy shouldn’t be taken by those with a prolonged QT interval on their EKG. This condition affects  about 1 in 2500 and is easily found on an EKG. Those traveling to malaria prevalent countries take it for the duration of their travels, from weeks to months. Longer term, hydroxy can rarely affect vision, but after a minimum of five years of use, not the 5 days or so recommended for Coronavirus treatment or prophylaxis…

Additional Recall of Enoki Mushrooms for Possible Listeria

by ~ H&C Food Inc. of Brooklyn, NY is recalling 7.05OZ (200G) Enoki mushrooms imported from Green Co. located in Korea… because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women. The recalled 7.05OZ (200G) Enoki mushrooms was distributed to NY, MD and VA areas through Great Wall Supermarket between February 15th, 2020 to March 5th, 2020. Enoki mushrooms were sold to Great Wall Supermarket in 7.05 oz / 200 g clear plastic packaging with a green label, UPC#831211204181, 25 packs/ net weight 5kg per carton. “H&C Food Inc.” company name can be found on the back of the clear plastic packaging. No illnesses related to products distributed by H&C foods have been reported, to date. The recall was the result of FDA evidence of potential contamination of Enoki Mushrooms from Green Co. Ltd. H&C Food Inc. has ceased the distribution of the product as FDA and the company continue their investigation as to what caused the problem. Consumers who have purchased 7.05OZ (200G) Enoki mushrooms imported from Green Co. located in Korea are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact H&C Food Inc. at 718-821-5188 ext.112 (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm EST).

Was Trish Regan Fired For Being Right?

By Conrad Black { } ~ The most inane of the many fatuous arguments raging over the administration’s handling of the coronavirus is the debate about whether the Democrats distracted President Trump with the impeachment effort… when he would otherwise have been raising the drawbridge earlier. This seems to have begun as Republicans other than the president asserted that the Democrats had no standing to complain about a slow start to grappling with the problem because they had wasted six weeks with a completely spurious impeachment case. Then the Democrats, or rather the Trump-haters because the poisonous weed of Never Trump still lurks in the fringes of the Republican garden, leapt upon the fact that Trump told a press briefing on the coronavirus pandemic that, after some consideration, he did not think that the attempt to remove him from office had retarded the administration’s response to the virus. His enemies ululated with glee that he had thrown away his one excuse for his otherwise supposedly inexcusable incompetence in dealing with the virus. This is surreal idiocy, even from the most febrile Trump-haters. The impeachment was an outrage, a disgrace, and an abject failure. The response of the administration to the viral danger was not delayed. The president was infamously accused by loose lips liar-Joe Biden of “hysteria and xenophobia” when he stopped direct flights from China on Jan. 31. Prior to that, China was not acknowledging remotely the extent of the epidemic spreading from Wuhan and was claiming that this virus was not transmissible between humans, and every falsehood the Chinese government uttered was ardently praised by the cap-in-hand lackeys of China in the World Health Organization (WHO). Neither the president nor his likely opponent this autumn, loose lips liar-Joe Biden, had any reason before Jan. 31 to believe that anything like the problem that has emerged was imminent. Perhaps the person who first evaluated this debate and the politicization of the pandemic in the United States was Trish Regan, late of Fox News, who saw it on March 9 as another Democratic attempt to impeach the president. She was right from the start and has been fired by Fox Business News for her comments. She did not dismiss the gravity of the virus, but accurately said that it was being exploited as another basis for the virtual impeachment of the president…

Fox & Friends Weekend Host Jedediah Bila Says She is Recovering From Coronavirus

By Zachary Petrizzo{ } ~ Fox & Friends weekend co-host Jedediah Bila announced on Instagram Thursday that she is recovering from the coronavirus… “I know I’ve been a little MIA. I’m actually at home recovering from Covid-19. I’m very much on the mend, so please don’t worry. My husband is also recovering well at home, and Hartley luckily did not get sick. Thank you, God, I am forever grateful,” Bila wrote.“This is a crazy time in the world, full of so much anxiety and fear. I’ve learned so much this past week and done so much thinking. Know that I’m sending love, peace, and good energy from my family to yours,” she added. The Fox News host concluded, “I’ll be sharing more in coming weeks. Thank you for your messages. I love and miss you all.” Bila is the first Fox News host to reveal a coronavirus diagnosis. Over at CNN, anchors Chris Cuomo and Brooke Baldwin have both revealed their own fights with the virus, with Cuomo appearing on air to give updates on his condition.

Congress Inquisition to Target Private Sector

Thomas Gallatin

House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi announced last week that Congress would create a committee to review President Donald Trump’s response to the China Virus pandemic. The announcement brought much consternation from conservative circles given that this pandemic inquisition is obviously the latest attempt by anti-Trump crazed Democrats to attack the president. In fact, Pelosi’s tapping of Majority Whip scumbag-Jim Clyburn (D-SC), who infamously referred to the pandemic crisis as “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision,” to head the committee only served to confirm conservative suspicions. liar-Pelosi and company are simply looking for yet another molehill to elevate into a national scandal in the vain hope of taking out Trump.

Clearly hoping to obscure such clearly obvious motives, scumbag-Clyburn insists that the focus of the committee was oversight and not investigations. “We’re not going to be looking back,” he says. Instead, the committee will address things like “price gouging” and “profiteering.” In other words, the lawmakers’ plan is to scapegoat private business to cover for the long list of failures by government officials at all levels. The primary failure of government can be tied directly to too much red tape — the bureaucratic state. For example, Reason’s Billy Binion notes, “Consider the hurdles created by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), for one, which set onerous roadblocks to speedily addressing the crisis. It stood in the way of importing face masks, a critical need against mounting personal protective equipment shortages. It dramatically slowed private testing, which, as a result, is still widely unavailable for many who think they might have COVID-19. It even got in the way of the production of hand sanitizer, another item that’s been in short supply as consumers seek to follow hand hygiene guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All this malfeasance could be useful for an oversight committee to examine.”However, as per scumbag-Clyburn’s statement, the committee appears entirely uninterested in investigating these clear failures. Instead, Democrats will scrutinize private enterprise, as if private enterprise had anything to do with controlling this pandemic. Binion cogently concludes, “Deeply troubling here is that the federal government and its red tape prevented the public from recovering from critical shortages, or, even worse, from developing the means to beat back this virus in the first place. Most troubling is that they’re passing the buck to the victims.” If scumbag-Clyburn’s vision for restructuring is anything like what his view for the committee is, then it sounds a lot like a classic case of socialism — control people’s lives and then blame them for the government’s failure to protect them.
