Calling All Rosa Parks Americans

By Lloyd Marcus{ } ~ The insanity going on before our very eyes regarding the Democrats’ and fake news medias’ latest campaign to impeach Trump over nonsense is infuriating millions of Americans… It is the equivalent of scumbag-Adam Schiff flooding the airwaves with the lie that Trump stole his car and must be impeached for it. Meanwhile, scumbag-Schiff’s car is parked untouched in his driveway for all the world to see. Ignoring the truth that scumbag-Schiff’s car was not stolen, the Democrats and fake news media cart out a dozen witnesses whistleblowers who claim they saw Trump commit the crime. This is exactly what is going on with scumbag-Schiff’s outrageous claim that Trump committed impeachable crimes during his phone call with the Ukraine president. scumbag-Schiff publicly read a bogus version of the conversation between Trump and the president of Ukraine. Trump had already countered scumbag-Schiff’s lie by releasing the actual transcript of the phone call. Ignoring the transcript, Democrats and their fake news media cheering section are still promoting the false narrative 24/7 that Trump must be impeached for what scumbag-Schiff claims Trump said on the phone call. This is in-our-face arrogant corruption. Behaviorally, scumbag-Schiff, Democrats and the fake news media are saying we’re kickin’ your president out of office and there ain’t nothing you smelly Walmart-shopping Trump voters can do about it. I received an expletive-filled ranting phone call from a businessman friend in California. He was livid watching liar-Pelosi, scumbag-Schiff, and their fake news media minions on TV arrogantly promoting a false picture of Trump while seeming to get away with it. He kept screaming, where are the ******* Republicans on our side who are fighting back? I talked him down from throwing a brick through his TV. My friend’s frustration and anger is felt by millions; outraged that Democrats and fake news media are attempting to use nonsense to disenfranchise them, reversing their decision to elect Trump. The Democratic Party, fake news media, ANTIFA, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Black Lives Matter, and LGBTQ enforcers are nothing more than anti-American and anti-Christian hate groups. They have launched a no-holds-barred war on traditional Americans. They have zero tolerance for any opposition to them transforming America. Along with social and financial destruction, opposing them could cost you your life. Black civil rights hero Rosa Parks was an excellent example of courage. Tired after a long day at work, Rosa took a seat in the front of the public transit bus, ignoring the mandate that blacks must sit in the back. When ordered to give up her seat to a white passenger, Rosa said, no. Folks, we need thousands of Rosa Parks Americans who refuse to be bullied by the anti-American mob…

scumbag/liar-Clinton Spokesman Doubles Down On Wild Tulsi Gabbard Conspiracy Theory

By Tristan Justice{ } ~ Former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton peddled a bizarre conspiracy theory Tuesday claiming that the Russians are supporting U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii for a third-party presidential run… “I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” scumbag/liar-Clinton said speculating of Russia’s latest plans in the upcoming presidential election on David Plouffe’s podcast. “She’s the favorite of the Russians.”The wild charge prompted a response from Gabbard, accusing scumbag/liar-Clinton of running an operation to destroy the congresswoman’s campaign for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. “You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain,” Gabbard wrote on Twitter. “From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation. We wondered who was behind it and why. Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies.” scumbag/liar-Clinton spokesperson Nick Merrill doubled-down on the former nominee’s conspiratorial charges, confirming to CNN’s Dan Merica that scumbag/liar-Clinton was referencing Gabbard without referencing the congresswoman by name. “Divisive language filled with vitriol and conspiracy theories? Can’t imagine a better proof point than this,” Merrill told Merica. “This is not some outlandish claim.”… This is so full of bull, how can anyone believe.

Democrat Sen. swcumbag-Pat Leahy Praises Anti-Semitic Cleric Just To Spite Trump

By Erielle Davidson{ } ~ The left has a penchant for choosing heroes based on their well-constructed anti-Trump narrative. Occasionally, however, this approach backfires, causing the left to defend and prop up individuals it should most decidedly not… This behavior is most readily apparent on the international stage, particularly since foreign policy decision making based solely on opposing Trump resembles really no foreign policy at all. Recently, Sen. scumbag-Patrick Leahy (D-VT) fell into this unfortunate trap of defending the indefensible, offering a glowing defense of the infamous anti-Semitic Saudi preacher Salman al-Awda, who currently faces  multiple counts in Saudi court, including for incitement against the ruler, sedition, and aiding the Muslim Brotherhood, among others. In his statement, scumbag-Leahy initially focuses his condemnation on the parameters of al-Awda’s confinement, which he argues violates international law. If the statement stopped there, it would be an honest statement of advocacy. However, scumbag-Leahy dramatically shifts gears, heaping saccharine praise on the cleric and portraying al-Awda as a mere dissident facing persecution at the hands of the Saudi government. To buttress his words of affirmation, scumbag-Leahy cites the UN Special Rapporteurs, who in calling for al-Awda’s release referred to the preacher as a “reformist” and “an influential religious figure who has urged greater respect for human rights within Sharia.”  scumbag-Leahy himself refers to al-Awda as a “prisoner of conscience” and a “courageous cleric” who represents a “true reformist.” But performing a quick background check on al-Awda would assure you that this representation is far from thorough or accurate. Although al-Awda has made some redeeming statements in recent years, including an open rejection of his Islamist behavior in the 1990s, he carries a long and painful history of virulent antisemitism and anti-Americanism in the 2000s, the antsemitism remaining an enduring phenomenon of the past decade. There’s a strong desire among leftists to recast al-Awda as a hero, but it appears to be at best wishful thinking and, at worst, liberal windowdressing for much more nefarious beliefs. Indeed, it’s not a stretch to say that al-Awda harbors a deep hatred of Jews. As recently as 2012, al-Awda went on Rotana Khalijiya TV, a Saudi network, discussing how Jews consume human blood to “bring them closer to their false god.” In that same interview, he declared that Jews use the Holocaust to “extort many governments” and then proceeded to declare that the Jews were “carrying out a Holocaust in Gaza.” In 2006, al-Awda appeared on al-Hayat Kalimat TV, declaring Jews to be “the worst enemy” and advising that “when any party fights the Jews, we should rejoice out of spite for the Jews.”…

Testimony on lowering drug prices and improving Medicare

by  Benedic Ippolito, PhD{ } ~ Chairman Neal, Ranking Member Brady, and members of the committee, thank you for the opportunity to testify on efforts to reduce prescription drug prices and improve Medicare benefits… My name is Benedic Ippolito—I am an economist and research fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. The market for pharmaceuticals can both be extremely impressive and deeply frustrating. Without question, recent developments in this market have offered tremendous therapeutic benefits to patients. Yet, we have also seen stubbornly high prices, slow or non-existent generic drug entry, and public programs that are not working for their beneficiaries or for taxpayers. It is not surprising that Americans regularly list reducing prescription drug prices as one of their top policy priorities. So, I am glad that this Committee, and others in both chambers, are considering this issue so seriously. In my testimony I will focus on two elements of recent proposals: Redesigning the Medicare prescription drug benefit, known as Medicare Part D, and allowing for the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to negotiate drug prices…

Elijah Cummings widow Maya Rockeymoore expected to run for his House seat

by Alana Goodman{ } ~ Rep. Elijah Cummings’s widow Maya Rockeymoore is seen as the most likely successor to fill his congressional seat after his death on Thursday… sources told the Washington Examiner. Rockeymoore, 48, who is currently the chairwoman of the Maryland Democratic Party, has a history of political involvement and ran unsuccessfully for Maryland governor in 2017. She married Cummings in 2008. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has 10 days to schedule a special election for Cummings’ seat and will likely set the date by the middle of next week, according to state political sources. The primary election is expected to take place next January and the general election in March. The winner of the special election will serve out of the remainder of Cummings’ term, which expires in December of 2020. A regularly scheduled primary for the following term will take place next April. Rockeymoore has not yet addressed the speculation that she will run for her husband’s seat. The Maryland Democratic Party released a statement on Friday asking for privacy for Rockeymoore and indicating that she would not be making any political announcements for the time being. “We ask the public and the press to allow Maryland Democratic Party Chair Dr. Maya Rockeymoore Cummings — and the rest of the Cummings family — time and space to grieve their loss,” said the party,  according to Patch. One political operative said Rockeymoore is not planning to run for the seat immediately as she takes time to grieve the loss of her husband. “Word is that Maya Rockeymoore will pass on the special election,” a long-time Maryland operative told the Washington Examiner. But sources do expect Rockeymoore to run in the previously scheduled election for the seat in April and believe other potential candidates will make room for her out of respect for her and her late husband. Another prominent Maryland Democrat, former NAACP president Ben Jealous, said on Friday that he does not plan to run for the seat…

Does Angela Merkel Deserve a Prize for Zionism?

by Soeren Kern{ } ~ A decision by the World Jewish Congress (WJC) to honor German Chancellor Angela Merkel with its prestigious Theodor Herzl Award for Zionism has sparked anger and bewilderment among Jewish leaders in the United States and Europe… The WJC, founded in August 1936 in Geneva, Switzerland, to confront the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi persecution of Jews in Europe, bestows its annual award to individuals who act to promote the goals of the late Theodor Herzl, the founder of the modern Zionist movement, “for the creation of a safer and more tolerant world for Jews.” Critics say that Merkel, because her domestic and foreign policies have in recent years made the world less safe for Jews, is uniquely undeserving of the award. These policies include: German government failure to combat rising anti-Semitism. A total of 1,799 anti-Semitic hate crimes — five per day, on average — were reported in Germany during 2018, according to the German Interior Ministry. This represents a 40% increase over 2013, when 1,275 such crimes were recorded. The actual number of anti-Semitic hate crimes in Germany is likely much higher. A survey produced by the Vienna-based European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) found that 80% of Jews who said they were a victim of anti-Semitism did not report the crimes. Almost half of Jews living in Germany said they do not feel safe in the country and were considering emigrating, according to the FRA. Germany is home to around 120,000 Jews. A recent survey by the University of Bielefeld found that 85% of German Jews believe there has been an upsurge of anti-Semitism in the country in the previous 12 months; 70% of those surveyed said that they avoided wearing “publicly identifiable Jewish symbols” out of a fear of being attacked; 58% said that they deliberately avoid certain neighborhoods. Although Merkel has frequently condemned anti-Semitism, her government has been unable or unwilling to implement effective measures to tackle the problem…

Democrats Ratchet Up Impeachment Secrecy

 Byron York

Not long ago, House Republicans complained that Democrats imposed excessive secrecy on interviews conducted as part of the drive to impeach President Trump. Now, the situation appears to have gotten worse. The recent interview of Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, marked a new point — a low point, as Republicans see it — in Democratic efforts to keep impeachment information out of public view.In this way: The two previous impeachment interviews — with former ambassador to the European Union Kurt Volker and intelligence community inspector general Michael Atkinson — were conducted in the format of what is known as a transcribed interview. Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff, who is running the Democratic impeachment effort, decreed that transcripts not be released to the public. At the same time, there were no heavily restrictive rules on what would happen should any member of Congress, acting from memory, reveal things that were said in the interview. The Yovanovitch session was different. Democrats conducted the interview in the format of a deposition, which is different from a transcribed interview. One key difference is that there are serious penalties for lawmakers who reveal the contents of a deposition. Doing so would almost surely subject the offending member to a House ethics investigation. All Republicans remember the price paid by Rep. Devin Nunes, who, in 2017, as chairman of the Intelligence Committee, faced an ethics investigation based on a complaint from a Democratic-allied outside group alleging he leaked classified information. Nunes was later cleared of all the charges, but he had to distance himself from some committee activities as the probe slowly proceeded. Now, some Republican lawmakers express fear of Democrats siccing an ethics investigation on them if they reveal what took place in the Yovanovitch interview, even though none of what was discussed was classified. Look at what happened to Devin, they say.So Republicans feel tight restrictions on what they can say. What was Yovanovitch asked? What did she answer? Were her answers consistent with what is known about the case? Republicans can’t say, fearful that scumbag-Schiff and the Democrats will come after them. Here is the clever part, from the Democratic perspective. As the Yovanovitch interview began, her 10-page opening statement quickly leaked. In it, Yovanovitch made her case for all the press to read. Headline after headline appeared, all based on the statement:— Washington Post: “Ousted ambassador Marie Yovanovitch tells Congress Trump pressured State Dept. to remove her.”— Politico: “Marie Yovanovitch says Trump ousted her over ‘unfounded and false claims.’”— CNN: “Former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine says Trump wanted her removed and blames ‘unfounded and false claims.’”— New York Times: “Ukraine Envoy Says She Was Told Trump Wanted Her Out Over Lack of Trust.”— Wall Street Journal: “Trump Pressed for Ukraine Envoy’s Removal, She Tells Lawmakers.”Democrats and Yovanovitch got their side of the story out without any rebuttal from Republicans. Beyond the leaked written statement, what did she actually say in the deposition? Did Republicans question her about her claims? Did the questioning reveal any facts not included in Yovanovitch’s opening statement? Were there any contradictions?None of that was known. Yovanovitch’s opening statement instantly became the accepted version of the story. Meanwhile, Republicans said nothing.Take, for example, Rep. Scott Perry, one of the four GOP House members in the room. Appearing on Fox News, Perry was asked what was said at the deposition. “Unfortunately, in the ever-changing rules situation here, I can’t tell you what happened in that room,” Perry answered. In private conversation, other sources were equally reticent. All were silenced by the Democrats’ strategic use of House procedures.“Depositions are governed by very specific House regulations,” said a House staffer in a text exchange. “Only one lawyer can ask questions per round, agency counsel is barred from attending, and the testimony is close hold. Transcribed interviews, in comparison, really don’t have any hard rules.” The only exception, the staffer said, is a closed session of the Intelligence Committee, which is not what the Yovanovitch deposition was. Finally, the contents of the interview are being kept secret, not only from the public, but from other lawmakers. Perhaps a dozen members have heard any of the testimony in the impeachment hearings so far. The other 420 or so don’t know what went on.In his much-criticized letter to Congress, White House counsel Pat Cipollone said Democratic handling of the impeachment investigation “violates fundamental fairness.” He meant fairness toward the target of the proceeding, President Trump. But there is also the question of fairness toward the American people trying to follow an impeachment process shrouded in secrecy. Don’t they have the right to know what the president’s accusers say?
