Ihave been trying to get people interested in joining the Mansfield Tea Party, (WE THE PEOPLE OF TODAY in PA), but so far have run into a stone wall. They either don't believe we can make a difference, we are for one party only, and seem to not want to take a couple hours a month out of their lives. How do I get across to the citizens, including those at the Mansfield University, that we will make a difference if we stick together?

I need some information about having a Tea Party Meeting here in my town of Mansfield PA. My goal is to have it mid-Sept or at the end of Sept. I have a few ideas I wish to use but need to see if I have to have the TPN'S okay.

One idea is to make a brochure that I can pass out to those in attendance; describing TPN it the beginning, what it stands for, and what they hope to accomplish, as well as a questionaire on today's hot issues. Could you tell me how I can get the okay? I would like to use the TPN'S logo or colors if that is okay, too.

Sorry for the really late reply but I was going thru medical issues. I was injured and wounded on duty. I work for the OC Sheriff Dept. So I am having alot of medical issues but now my medical is resolving itself hopefully. Plus the county cut off worker comp and is not paying me while I do not work.

I was injured in the line of duty and retired on a medical. At present I pay my own health care and I would not like it any other way. I am a veteran of the US Army, Reserve, and National Guard. I do watch the political discourse daily from all sides, read and even debate those in my own family. They openly love socialism.

Knowing they will lose their majority in the upcoming election, they plan to rush and jam every liberty destroying bill quickly through during the lame-duck session of congress. Like cap and trade, and Amnesty for illegal aliens, and a bill aimed at destroying the cement manufacturing industry. Us freedom loving Americans need to have a counter strategy. We need to inform these outgoing legislators if they vote for any of these bills, the new incoming legislators will withhold the pensions of the outgoing senators. Now that’s using the power of the purse.
