Comment by Bob Kearney on May 17, 2011 at 1:50pm James, your correct about the individuality of voters. However, we must remember that we must control the Senate and House next election and that means, the vote needs to go to R. A third party can then be constructed, then and only then can We the people go after the Courts Liberals and proceed w/State rights and the true meaning of the Constitution.

This is it for them and they better know it. We have to stop the bleeding and this battle is the line in the sand. Thgey have to keep the ceiling from being raised and now.
Comment by Douglas W. Dragert on May 17, 2011 at 8:07am "On the table", negotiated, ...only if... What? We've got the Dems by the throat AGAIN and Boehner is blathering about negotiations? Reaching the debt ceiling does NOT mean we can't pay our debts. It means we can spend anymore. Just like your credit card when you max it out.
DO NOT RAISE THE DEBT CEILING. The government will then be forced to make cuts to get below the spending limit. Negotiate my Aunt Fanny! Take it all off the table and tell the Dems and Rinos it's time to fish or cut bait or we'll cut the purse strings. Doesn't anybody remember the mandate of 2010?
Comment by James R. Williams on May 17, 2011 at 6:20am Anyone who believes that the present members of congress are going to do a dam thing about getting us out of this mess must have rocks in there head or a Dem in there bed. They are ALL in it for them self's and could give a s_ _ _ less about the people who elected them. And are going to be the ones with out the ability to survive. With gas, food and everything else on the rise. It will only get worse for us and better for the top dog,s and the politicians Just like all the other socials countries. Which is were we are headed.
Just remember when you go to the polls. we need to dump the whole lot and start over. We need to have term limits on ALL elected offices.
Today is primary day in KY. And believe me I will never vote for another Rino. Or incumbent.
Just saying

Comment by Marcia Wood on May 17, 2011 at 12:01am I believe that Hucklebee and Sarah Palin will help us usher in our choice for the 2012 Presidential election, if we pick a candidate that is truly a Conservative. RIght now, we don't have anyone that TPN can agree upon and that's a little scary, but I think that will change in a few weeks.
