Why The Greater General Freedom Is Lost By 2nd Amendment Restrictions

Over 300 testimonies are being read by pro and con gun control advocates tomorrow, 1/28/13, at the Hartford, CT Capitol Legislative Bldg., Room 2C. This is my stance against the state's leaning toward enacting EVEN MORE SEVERE gun controls against automatic pistols and rifles and magazine sizes than did New York state on January 9th in Albany. We are in the 'fight of our lives' here in Connecticut to preserve the 2nd Amendment. I pray we have hundreds of C&C gun owners show up to what is expected to be a 14-hour (till midnight) testimony and fact-reaching commission hearing. I fear the proposals and the ultimate bill to be passed in late February and then signed by our radical governor in March 'has already been writ in stone' against the advocates of the 2nd Amendment freedom.

3/4s of the states have little to fear since your states only will register what Biden and Feinstein attempt to do at the federal level, and most of your capitols will NULLIFY the end result with state laws overriding the federal law, if it even passes, which is doubtful. We in Connecticut however are under the thunderbolt of EMOTIONAL socialism-communism even before the Newtown Massacre here. Our legislators want the 'good guys with the guns' (*170,000+ of us with C&Cs) to pay the price: loss of freedom, 200% taxes on purchases, automatic annual registration (higher fees) requirements...and no one really addressing the issue of Adam Lanza, the druguser and mentally deficient 20-year old who shot his mother -it has been discovered but not media-announced- BECAUSE she was going to have him COMMITTED to a mental ward in a hospital or other facility. Then he went on his rampage...and the sleeping hatred against gun owners in ALL the states was awoken.

If you have a moment send your testimony from another state to our state on the behalf of your belief in your freedom -YOUR GREATER FREEDOM- to maintain the 2nd Amendment nationwide. Write to : www.cga.ct.gov/asaferconnecticut

Maybe we can force the whole country to hear us in Room 2C at least till THE SUN RISES AT DAWN ON THE 29TH OF JANUARY. Let's all be blurry-eyed together.

TITLE: Why the Greater General Freedom is Lost by 2nd Amendment Restrictions

Where our government fails always occurs when it directly threatens the individuality of the good citizens -those citizens entrusted with the vote and who do so; or those citizens who obey the laws but uniquely weigh them for their good actions and even their 'divine graces'. A good government seeks conformity and rules with a minimum of conflict, and our Constitution rests on perhaps romantic notions of the individual's values, having opportunity or an equal chance, living meaningfully, and having purpose in living one's life, since each individual accepts the positives and negatives of his government's rule by the majority, unless it threatens the survival of one's individuality.

The flight of the individual from whatever threatens his individuality is the preponderant fear behind the massed collection of individuals in this state and country who believe that the 2nd Amendment bill of right is under attack by an existent "prerogative" of emotionally-driven reactionaries who scorn the 2nd Amendment and its constitutional guarantee: to safeguard one self and family, and to be empowered 'by an inherent militia' to stop tyrannous governments both foreign and/or domestic.

Until recently, the pre-Newtown campaign against the 2nd amendment freedom to possess defensive weapons never had reached the heresy it has today. Scorn, ridicule, name-calling of 2nd Amendment believers are emotional decisions without rational motivation meant to divide all of us as witnesses of Newtown, and is meant to throw us into 2 opposing camps. It is another example of the politics of division. Other people's opinions and beliefs should not be labeled by leaders and their background media as hostile and confining since a deeper intelligence tells us, and should make us more aware, that what springs out of this conflict should be a greater general freedom (one in which opposing groups share eventually in a solution) for all who believe differently.

What should be examined by the individuals today at this hearing is the individual freedom of the 2nd Amendment believers in their unity versus the individual freedom of the analogous offender, i.e. the mentally ill individual, who in becoming an intruder by force of will or by some homicidal demonetization, repetitively, like a virus, penetrates the biological system of our basic law and order to destroy all our general freedom at once. Society and its general freedom is being extinguished by such irrational, on-the-fringe members who are ill and misplaced in society. Even when they are recognized and watched by medical personnel the mentally ill are usually forgotten until their deeds announce them to the world.

What should be examined at this hearing are the over 7,000 inmates who have been granted early releases in the last 2 years from the DOC for “good-time earned”, some of whom have committed new murders, e.g. 2 at least in Meriden, which only proves that a wider threat to our general freedom exists in another class of homicidal demons, many of whom easily obtain illegal weapons from the streets.

To reduce a pistol magazine restriction to only 7 rounds for a good citizen is to place good people in danger and encourages the surrounding darkness to overcome the general freedom. It creates the conditions for dozens of tragic situations to occur in private homes where intruders who were granted, say an ‘early release’ may come in pairs, in threes, in fours, with knives and blunt instruments to face someone defending his life with seven ridiculous bullets. Crime is not often committed by one but by a gang, and many home invasions are not so well-planned as well-orchestrated by the sudden decision of a group leader, who intentionally will procure an illegal firearm to use to assist in the break-in, or the hold-up, or the drive-by.

Our laws have a masked toleration for the mentally ill who are given many freedoms, and also they support the former felons on probation, since both so readily walk our streets unrestricted until they commit a violation. Both elements receive more protection and services guaranteed and fostered by the lawmakers, but the common, honest man and woman who make up the general welfare of citizenry only receives a promise of protection from his or her local police. In the event of being involved in a crime and becoming a victim the members of this board will be responsible by their actions taken here, perhaps, for jeopardizing the general safety of its citizens, and of breaking the promise of the 2nd Amendment whose tradition in this state of Connecticut has been long, enduring, and well-placed.

The malaise of emotion that threatens the 2nd Amendment here is suffocating the general freedom and security of good state citizens which our laws have maintained for over 200 years. Don’t be so willing to disrupt the harmony of our self-defense, the real front-line of protection that the thousands of gun owners possess in harmony by their obedience to the laws on record. Please do not personally isolate well-intentioned, law-abiding citizens who are protecting the general freedom to walk and live in harmony, but are forced to live among others who would do them harm because they ignore the whole archive of laws. A criminal will penetrate a home that is defenseless, or whose defenses are cheapened.

Please consider this short study carefully, and protect us from a paradox of new gun laws which restrict our safety, harm our families, make us incapable of helping our neighbors, if and when danger attacks us, and you’ve enacted new rules and situations that change the game of safe-conduct for the general welfare of the people in Connecticut.

***UPDATE*** Thousands have turned out and I had to park my car 3/4ter mile from the great golden dome and then waited along with 300 others in line. We have had an OVERWHELMING PRO GUN TURNOUT AND SUPPORT. I probably won't get a chance to read till 10pm tonight. The Obama Propaganda Media is in full force through local affliates at CBS/NBC/ABC deriding us in every interview, refusing to give us mic-time, or at least balancing it with proper airtime. Major confiscation of all automatics IS ON THE TABLE as I write. Welcome to Nazi Germany, 1935, in Hartford, CT: RADIO FREE EUROPE!!!!!!!!!
