What we need to do as soon as possible. Why we need to do it. Why it will work. If. We. Unite. NOW!

Folks, we need to win the next round of elections, no? And we need to elect constitutional conservatives, no? Well, they need to run on a party ballot. And they have to win the primary election. And that's the EASIEST one to win because turnout is so low. If we can raise the turnout in our neighborhoods -- our "political neighborhoods" -- our precincts, we can cause constitutional conservatives to win those all-important, traditionally-very-low-turnout primary elections.

As Judson Phillips has advised, we (that means YOU and me -- each one of us) have to DO two critical things simultaneously: become precinct committeemen in the Republican Party AND become poll watchers and poll workers to make sure the vote is not stolen.

We are weakest where we should be strongest, and most of us don't know it. At the precinct level, from which all power withing the Republican Party comes, over half of the precinct committeeman slots are VACANT.

This chart shows where the real power lies.

Where all the power comes from, over half of the positions are vacant. That's where the opportunity for constitutional conservatives exists.

This next chart shows how the "power" chart should be drawn -- with the citizen on top.  But the citizen has been sitting up in the bleachers for generations.  We need to become ball players.  And in the real ball game of politics, which is PARTY POLITICS, if you want to be on the ball field and play the game, you've got to become a precinct committeeman.

This next chart shows that about half of the Republican Party precinct committeeman slots are vacant. And that the filled slots have been split, ideologically, about 50-50 between conservatives and Republicans In Name Only. The elections of Michael Steele as RNC Chairman, and then Reince Priebus, reflect that ideological split. In Arizona, where I live, it's been even worse. In 2008, fewer than one-third of the PC slots were filled. We are not even up to half-strength yet. But in two years we've completely changed the Party, because almost all of the new PCs are conservatives from the grass roots conservative groups. Now they are UNITING inside a real political party where they can actually BECOME the leaders of the Party and determine the outcome of the primary elections.

Here's an article about what we achieved in Maricopa County in two years by UNITING POLITICALLY INSIDE A POLITICAL PARTY:

http://www.redstate.com/coldwarrior/2011/01/24/mission-accomplished...

This next chart shows, again, that the Party is weakest where it should be strongest. All of the "upper level" officer slots are filled, but only about 44 per cent of the most important slots, the "we the people" slots, are filled. And if "we the conservative people" fill them up, we can take over the Party and determine the outcome of the elections.

This next chart shows what we have, and what we could have. Which Republican Party do you want? What will YOU DO to make the full-strength, 75 % solidly conservative landslide-win-producing political powerhouse of a party happen?

One more graphic. This one shows HOW we can get to a full-strength, solidly-conservative Republican Party IF we will all UNITE INSIDE the Republican Party as precinct committeeman. United we stand. Divided we fall. Let's unite, no?

Let's get it done, shall we? Who's with me?

I told Martin and Dannenfelser and any other "leader" in the conservative groups to do this years ago:

Maybe they are finally "getting it" that the ONLY way to change the Republican Party is by getting inside it as a voting member of it.

Thanks,

Cold Warrior, Excellent stuff!

In addition, each of us might keep (1) "political report cards" on all candidates for national office. (2) Have all local Tea Parties begin to communicate closely through a forum such as Tea Party Nation, for the purpose of organizing a Tea Party convention in summer 2012.  (3) At convention, discuss more of what you have proposed. Establish a "People's Platform" and pledges to vote for the Republican candidate.(4) Have each state's Tea Parties organize in the same fashion, holding conventions in each state that will back the Republican candidates and vote as a block at election time. (5) All of us vote as a block against Obama, even if we have to vote for Romney!  The nation cannot survive another term of Obamacrat "Progressive Socialists"!

Talk about a great nuts and bolts post.  Must get this to my local Tea Party activists!  Thanks, Cold Warrior!

The proposed plan seems to be what liberals/progressives/marxists did years ago in taking over the Democrat party. They are in firm control for the foreseeable future and must be countered. The majority of the American people no longer fit into the mold of what is now a typical activist Democrat.

Shelly,

That could be good news, bad news, or in between.  Just because the precinct committeeman slots are filled does not mean you can't participate as a volunteer at he meetings.  You'll want to "learn the ropes" and volunteer to do anything and everything they want you to do.  Ohio's system is like Arizona's:  any registered Republican can run for precinct committeeman in their own precinct.  Those candidates who get the most votes win.  Support the good, existing conservatives.  If there are RINOs in some slots, run conservatives against them.

Good luck, and thanks for the report.

Will Allen West Run for President in 2012? This information is currently not available.

About Allen West: Allen West is a 39 year old combat veteran, who served 21 years in the United States Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is one of the new faces of the conservative party, as well as the Tea Party. When speaking in regards of the Tea Party, West often lays to rest the accusations that the Tea Party are simply racists.

West spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference on February 20, 2010 and was endorsed by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. As one of 32 African-American Republican candidates for Congress in 2010, West said he supported the Tea Party movement and dismissed the notion of alleged “racism” as a creation of liberal critics and the news media.

West ran in the November 2, 2010, election and defeated incumbent Ron Klein by almost 9% to win the congressional seat for District 22. West, with newly elected Tim Scott, will be one of the two first African-American Republicans to serve in Congress since J.C. Watts retired in 2003.

West raised $5.4 million for his campaign, while his incumbent opponent raised only $2.5 million. West stated: “…over 97 percent of our donations have come from individual contributions.”

Allen West PROS: Allen West is one of the leading conservatives in America today, and may are hopeful that he will run for President in 2012. On top of that, he is a black conservative, which is in itself, very unique. He retired as an Army Lieutenant Colonel with combat experience, and has a long record of military service. In this day in age, that is always a plus. He is also supported by the Tea Party. Being a black conservative, he may be able to influence a lot of black conservatives to step into the spotlight, and create some energy behind the limited political base that exists in this regard.

Allen West CONS: West had some small military charges which he was reprimanded for. He speaks openly and honestly about these, but I’m more than positive that these will be brought up. He is also fairly new to politics, so his voting record doesn’t have much to show for.

Excellent piece of work! This is the foundation building we must do to becoming the long term force. We do not need to form a Third Party just take over the R party and make it "The Conservative Party".

To do so there is no greater task than to “Build the Party”. But let’s not just join the GOP; let’s overwhelm it by making the Tea Party its major force. In 1976 Ronald Reagan said:  “I believe the Republican Party has a platform that is a banner of bold, unmistakable colors, with no pale pastel shades.”  Right now this Party is still top heavy with does nothing politicians that distain true conservatives like the members and friends of the Tea Party. This is the same group that distained Ronald Reagan. Let’s go over their heads and either they join us as true conservatives or get out of the way. Let’s storm this party with Social Conservatives, Religious Conservatives, Fiscal Conservatives, Libertarians, Republican Conservatives, Democrat Conservatives, and Independent Conservatives. This country needs a Party that makes no excuses, bows down to no one, does not apologize for respecting the Constitution, believes in our free Market Economy and the need to have a Government beholding to the people not enslaving them.

“By renewing our commitment to the original values of the American Revolution and to the principles of ``We the People,'' we can best preserve our liberty and expand the progress of freedom in the world, which is the purpose for which America was founded.”

“We must go forth from here united, determined that what a great general said a few years ago is true: There is no substitute for victory” – Ronald Reagan

If you don't mind could you send me a word doc or pdf with your comment. I would like to share it with as many as possible.

A job well done.
