WHAT TO DO WITH THE EMPEROR?
It's good to be king! Barry really enjoys the perks we give our chief executive. "I can do anything I want, " he said. And he does take advantage of everything we give him...and a whole lot more. And you know something? There's a lot of responsibility given to the president of these states united, and I really don't mind all that much. I could be petty and cry foul because he and the first lady like their vacations and their parties...a whole lot. And he sure does like the golf courses, about 162 games since becoming president. The problem with that is coming from the press flaunting their every move while the nation is really struggling with higher taxes, higher insurance costs (thanks to his highness and the wretched lefties), higher food and fuel costs, a stagnate economy with over 20 million out of work and only a 63% labor participation. I don't think it's good for the moral of the people to see this lavish waste of their money paraded by the paparazzi, I mean main stream media.
No. The real problem is he has no idea how to be a president. His only experience is being a partisan organizer. It shows with everything he does. His entire mission is to get what he wants with no compromise. He has his high dollar supporters, and he has no problem pitting one group against another to achieve his goals. It has been noted that the country is more divided now than any time in recent history. You name the division and we have it, race, class, gender (all of them). While this is an effective tool for a partisan organizer, it is a dangerous way to handle a nation of 300+ million, most of whom do not share his ideas and values. All of this division has caused nothing but hatred. The nation is primed to explode.
The only thing holding us together is our laws. As confusing as they can be, we still respect them as a whole. I wish our president and attorney general respected them half as much. This is the true legacy of this administration, renegade lawlessness. His agenda is his intent. The transparency he promised is there if you're willing to see it. He doesn't understand the idea of compromise, he's never had to, he wasn't taught to. His socialist educators taught him how to be subversive and manipulative, taught him that reality and the opinions of the people didn't matter, and it was okay to lie. He constantly lied to the masses about his trophy law, the ACA, not to mention Benghazi and a host of other scandals.
But the real lawlessness, the real threat is not his policies. We can always repeal them via either legislation or state nullification. No, the real threat is the bastardization of the Constitution, you know, that document that is the foundation of this great nation! He doesn't respect Congress, period. And since the 2010 midterms when republicans retook the House, his disgust with their obstructionism has been epic.
He has taken matters into his own hands, governing through agencies and executive actions. He has all but destroyed the coal industry via the EPA. Other regulations and taxation have put a stranglehold on small and medium sized businesses. He has instructed his departments to uphold certain parts of laws while turning a blind eye to other parts. He has made, at last count, 28 changes to his signature law through waivers and delays. All for political reasons, none to actually assist the law's implementation. The executive branch is not the law-making branch, neither is the judicial branch. That is the sole responsibility of Congress.
At this point I would like to remind Washington about the oath our politicians make: To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. It is clear the president has no regard for the supreme law of the land. He has even announced his intent if the congress does not comply. "I have a pen, and I have a phone."
But he isn't the only one. Congress and the judicial appointees took the same promise with their oaths. With our three tiered system of checks and balances, they were also in place to keep one branch from doing what the executive branch is attempting, watchdogs, if you will. But what are they doing?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Oh, some are whining and signing petitions. But all just for show. Harry Reid needs to be thrown out of office immediately. He suggested the president to unilaterally rewrite immigration laws today. He and his goons have no place in our republic. Public servants do not encourage, or call for in this case, the Constitution to be ignored and violated.
So what can those in congress do other than cry foul?
Well, there's impeachment. I would put several names on an impeachment petition. While there might be enough votes in the House to move forward, there's not a chance in hell of it seeing the light of day in the Reid controlled Senate. So without a chance of success at present, it would be almost political suicide. You know the MSM would run the GOP into the ground. That action must wait until the GOP retakes the Senate.
There are lawsuits. This is a losing proposition and horrible strategy. Not only would be lost or delayed in the vast beuroacracy of our courts, possibly for years, but it carries no weight. It accomplishes nothing but a censure to the president. And in the meantime, the terror continues.
But does that make Congress helpless? Even with "Dirty" Harry Reid killing everything that does not further the "agenda"?
Absolutely not! Call it luck or maybe providence that it was House of Representatives that the Republicans won in 2010. Call it great wisdom from the Founders for giving the House the most powerful weapon in Washington, the power of the purse. They did this purposely because the House is a more direct representation of the people...and it is our money. Thankfully there is what is called the origination clause. It simply states that ALL spending starts in the House.
On that premise ObamaCare would be unconstitutional because the Senate gutted a bill sent from the House and replaced it with the ACA. I don't see anybody scrambling to make this case. But herein lies the real power. The House could have refused to fund ObamaCare. They didn't need the Senate or a presidential okydoky. They can do the same now. By refusing to fund the president's pet projects, they can have enormous leverage. I think you would see a shift in attitude by his highness and the Senate once the House showed some backbone. Is the IRS or the EPA bring unruly children? Cut their funding! How about the president's green initiative? Turn off the funds! Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Well, there are problems.
The downside is that they will demonized by the left and trumpeted by the MSM far and wide. Those evil republicans are racist bigots who want to kill your children and the world. I'm sure they would think of even worse accusations. It would appear unpopular by most accounts. The mere thought of that sends republicans into the fetal position.
Thus I make my challenge. We sent you to Washington to protect the interests of the people and uphold the Constitution. Contrary to popular lore, getting reelected is NOT your first responsibility! Sometimes doing the right thing is hard. I promise you if you take action to protect the people, the Constitution, and the nation, you will be dragged through the mud and call vile names by you opponents, BUT you will be rewarded. We are not as stupid as we are portrayed. We immensely value and respect those that suffer for a just cause. Don't cave to pressures from the establishment and the political left machine.
I call upon every person to contact your representatives and let them know you're on their side if they fight for us. Spread the word far and wide. The seeds of discontent have been sewn! The president will continue to rule by pen and phone digging our hole deeper. Tell them we need leaders who care for us! Meanwhile we will fight along side them!
Death to tyranny!
