We have a president who has told us that he’s a progressive socialist. He has all along used his office and his cabinet illegally and it is likely, if not certain, that he is not a natural-born US citizen. He has told us that it’s his intention to ignore the second amendment, to disarm the military, enter us into economy-killing treaties and refuses to terminate a Secretary of State who has shown herself to be utterly unqualified for the position, even unto the deaths of several Americans as a direct result of her incompetance.
Where is the GOP? What have their actions in response to Obama told you about what they are and what they stand for? Where are the members of the senate telling us not to worry about it because they will refuse him everything, by filibuster if necessary? Where are the members of the House of Representatives, telling us not to worry, they’ll deny him everything via the power of the purse?
Where are the articles of impeachment? Where is the special prosecutor for “Fast & Furious”? Why aren’t the Republican elected members of congress organizing marches, demonstrations and in general, blocking everything this man and his henchmen are doing while making public awareness or our great numbers impossible to avoid?
Where are these people? Are they hiding under their desks?
No. They’re trying to aid Obama in his aims. Senators Rubio, Graham, McCain and others are helping to craft his Amnesty Legislation, among them Sen. Jeff Flake, who told us all here in Arizona how conservative he was at election time. (Like most of those who are “moderate” Republicans, the truth is that they are really just Democrats who from time to time have flashes of conscience about taxes and the budget. “Flashes” are as far as it gets, because they seemingly fail to grasp that if you grow areas of government, you increase the pressure for higher taxes and a greater budget. Thus, ultimately, their “cuts” are only talk for the fatuous and in the end, meaningless.)
What about the House of Representatives? Are they demanding a budget? No. They’re just going from one continuing resolution after another, from one lost argument over the debt ceiling to the next – and these are the people who can dictate those terms! They have the power, but apparently they lack the brains, the understanding and the guts.
We are on our own. As a practical matter we have no representation in Washington.
Ladies and gents, why do we permit this? Yes, surprising as it may seem to some, it’s up to us what we tolerate! It’s up to us who goes to Washington. All those Republicans are there because it was us who put them there. But they’re doing nothing.
Why are they doing nothing? Because they have no leadership nor do they have a platform which means anything to that leadership. Has Speaker Boehner published his agenda for this legislative session along with all which he is determined to achieve? What about McConnell? The documents must be top-secret if they have done so. Because the GOP has no set agenda, no line they will draw in the sand which they won’t permit anyone to pass beyond, they will stand for anything. They have no guiding light, no rock upon which to proclaim “we will fight for this until we win” and no determination to win anything. Sadly they are just there, just occupying space.
So, are we going to “tolerate” having our choices as to who will be in congress dictated to us by the same old people who have been handing us those choice for all these years, or are we going to put together a vital party, a party with teeth in its rules, which will be a fighting force for good and the American way of life? It’s our choice.

Congress is where 'States and We The People' have Our Legal Advocates to Defend and Up-Hold All of the Constitution, as Required By Their Oath of Office.
House Congressmen were elected, [hired], to Be Legal-Advocates for 'We The People'.
Senators were elected, [hired originally], to Be Legal-Advocates for 'The States', where they Reside.
In Essence, Congress Consist of Two Law-Firms, as it were. One Being Our Legal-Representation in Congress, known as; The Republican Party, and The Democratic Party.
No Matter What These Legal-Firms Do To Us, or How They Abuse Our Rights and Liberties, We Believe We Can Change Them By Hiring 'New-Associates', Into These Law Firms, To Change The Firm From Within. ..And More Lofty Ideas, Take Them Over.
For almost Four Years, I've been trying to get People to Re-Think How 'Political-Parties have had Nothing But Negative Representation of; The People, The States, and Our Constitution. But The People Love Their 'Political-Parties', and How They have been Represented By Them!
America as The Founder's Intended, is Gone!
Political Parties Can't Restore It!
The Sheeple Won't Seek Any-Other Way of Representation; Than Political Party Involvement!
PS; "IN PRIVATE LIFE, IF YOU HAD SUCH BAD-REPRESENTATION BY A LAW FIRM, WOULD YOU SUGGEST THAT THEY 'HIRE' A NEW ASSOCIATE? OR THAT 'NEW ASSOCIATES' COULD TAKE OVER THAT LAW FIRM?
Comment by Tea Party California Council on January 30, 2013 at 1:11pm In reference to Frank's sentimental journey back to 2012, he has just identified all the men who may have appealed to male chauvinist macho's wishing for a return to earlier 20th Century, but their political destiny was doomed and will continue to be as long as intellectually sophisticated and financially self-sufficient women no longer need nor want a resurrection of social, moral and cultural Neanderthals. And regarding Marco Rubio, the old guard obstinate refusal to ask us Hispanic American Republicans, also conservatives, instead of presuming, they would have soon discovered that few of us nationally were enamored with Marco Rubio. But with typical stereotypical token mentality, GOP assumed without the intellectual courtesy of asking, doing a survey, or seeking our preferred choice for some Hispanic American token window dressing Republican icon, which of course, there are none currently. But it is the nasty habit of the GOP to dictate, to presume without the benefit of actually asking for Republican constituent input and feedback.
Heaven forbid, if GOP leadership forge their policies from trickle up spiral of opinions. They prefer to see themselves as Divine apostles descending their edicts upon us peasants. And they wonder why the voter registration is shrinking and apathy continues to fester. Duh!

I agree with everything you said. Marco Rubio has gone from being a shining star on the horizon to collosal disappointment--and I was totally crushed when Flake hooked up with Schumer, Durbin & Co. Talk about two Democrats I wouldn't touch with a the proverbial ten-foot pole . . . ! I'll never forgive "Turbin Durbin" for calling our brave fighting men "Nazis."
And so where are we now? Can the G.O.P. be reformed? Probably. But it will take years and years, possibly decades, from the local level on up.
That leaves the only real solution: a third party.
But we'll need some big players and powerbrokers to make it happen.
A good start would be somebody like Donald Trump. He has the money, clout, influence, and connections to make it happen. Once conservative candidates Herman Cain, Rick Perry, and Newt Gingrich were derailed by the Democrats, the establishment Republican Party, and the state-run press, I was hoping the Donald would run as an Independent.
Maybe he, or someone else like him, could start this third party and make it instantly viable and a big player on the national stage.
That is my hope, friends. --FRANK NITTY
Comment by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on January 30, 2013 at 6:50am 2016 is going to be a run away win for Hillary Clinton if we do not pick a solid candidate and start fighting. Obama has destroyed the GOP along with the help of Boehner and Mitch.

I think it is to late to try and save what we have and am not to sure Mr. Jefferson's adage isn't about to demonstrate itself. Just make sure when this happens you are a conservative who doesn't believe liberals don't have guns. They do. Its your guns they want to take. Ask Fienstein. Just make sure the liberal who tries to take your guns is, at minimum, ambulatory when he/she departs. Then hunker down because the rest of them are coming.
Comment by Tea Party California Council on January 29, 2013 at 10:33pm Why are there some undeserving, virtually rude attacks on Dover's assessments and critique. The more intelligent reply is to highlight or make reference to which item or specific references Dover is making to which some of you disagree and why. Our conservative message(s) and criticisms at our ideological and policy adversaries and opposition loses credibility if we communicate like name calling, grammatically incoherent emotionally impulsive rebellious teenagers. I genuinely would prefer more mature sounding discourse or debate. We adults have a duty to our aspiring future conservative young leaders by displaying cranial discipline in communicating either for the purposes to persuade, enlighten, to inform or all three. Dover's article deserves useful comments, not innuendos.

Comment by Sue Carroll on January 29, 2013 at 8:28pm I am a GOP Chair in my town, a deligate to the State Committee, and a deligate to the Bylaws Committe, as well as chair to the events committee for our County. We are working tirelessly to infiltrate and pull the GOP back to the beliefs espoused in the platform. Many "tea Party" conservatives have positions in the NH GOP.
