Over so many decades now, we've witnessed these horrible school massacres, and they just seem to get worse and worse, and now even more frequent, as the years go by. And of course the Socialists with their enslavement and oppression agendas keep popping up after each one and demanding to take more human rights ( yes, the RKBA – Right to Keep And Bear Arms is a fundamental human right ) away from the vast, vast majority of us who didn't do them, as if good and trustworthy people should be punished with a loss of their freedoms, for what a very tiny number of bad people did.

And the first question that always comes to our minds after one of these horrific events, is that of how anyone could do such a thing. That's because most of us are sane, and we can no more comprehend why anyone would do such things, than we can comprehend why insane tyrants would want to take our freedoms away because of it, and treat us all like convicted criminals in a societal prison.
And time after time we have failed to comprehend these things, and they keep happening and getting worse. We feel horribly sad, some of us who believe in a deity pray, yet nothing ever changes.
Well, my fellow patriots, I come bearing hopeful news.
The “why” has finally been explained!
Leave it to Glenn Beck. I don't always agree with him ( just about 90% of the time ), and don't think he always has all the answers, but he's amazing, in that he can usually rally the right minds to him, and get them!
Well someone finally answered this agonizing question “why”, and as a bonus, they even gave us the first ideas of a plan that can be implemented to reduce these massacres, in hopes that some day they will never happen again.
It's not a simplistic thing, like “easy access to guns”, “making sure mentally ill people don't have access”, background checks, banning, registration, and all that. Those things haven't worked in the past and they won't work in the future.

It also wasn't as simplistic, or as easy to understand as some of the suggestions of the right, that these things might be caused by violent movies and video games. I used to ponder those ideas and kept thinking; But most people watch violent movies, and millions play violent video games, yet very very few are going out and committing school massacres. It never made sense to me.
But on January 3rd, on his TV program on The Blaze TV, Beck hosted Marine Lieutenant Colonel Dave Grossman ( RET. ) who, besides being an absolute icon at what he's done, it turns out is the perfect person to help shed some light on the “why” and start working on some good potential cures!
You see, he pretty much wrote the books on how to kill, for the military and police officers.
He was well-trained in psychology, and in these topics, and has taught them for many years.
Beck was extremely honored to have him as a guest, and he seemed extremely honored to be one on the program, and extremely grateful to have a forum in which he can now offer effective help. He's evidently a very good man who has been horribly affected by these massacres, in fact one of them even happened in the school next to where his son was attending school when it happened.
So it turns out that my thinking was correct, it's not just “the violent movies and video games”. What it really is, is the movies that instill certain attitudes about killing ( You've heard that, “attitudes are everything”. ) – that human life is not to be revered, and that it doesn't matter who or what you kill, that it's “fun” and you can feel nothing – no negative feelings about doing it, to kill a criminal, or even cops or school kids. Most people have natural inhibitions about such things, from birth. Nature teaches us to kill only to survive, and humans have, for the most part, evolved above animals, in the sense that most of us would feel wrong about killing for any reason other than self defense and our own survival.
The problem was that too many military people felt the same way, yet they had to be sent out to follow orders and kill anyone they were told to. This is why the very philosophy of Objectivism and orthodox Libertarianism teach that force should never be initiated and should only rightfully be used in defense or in retaliation. Remember?:
“The necessary consequence of man's right to life is his right to self-defense. In a civilized society, force may be used only in retaliation & only against those who initiate its use. All the reasons which make the initiation of physical force an evil, make the retaliatory use of physical force a moral imperative. If some 'pacifist' society renounced the retaliatory use of force, it would be left helplessly at the mercy of the 1st thug who decided to be immoral. Such a society would achieve the opposite of its intention: instead of abolishing evil, it would encourage & reward it.” - Ayn Rand “The Nature of Government” ( 1961 )
Yet most of the world is not orthodox Libertarian or Objectivist, they are some degree of forced-collectivism, so soldiers and police must be trained against their natural inclinations, to go out and kill people because they were ordered to do so, not because those people initiated force against them, but because someone else ordered them to, often “for the collective good”, whatever that is.
So specialists arose, ages ago, who could teach and train these things to soldiers and the police. I remember reading a very interesting book years ago, called “People Of The Lie”, by M. Scott Peck, which also touched on these topics. Topics like the nature of group evil, and that militaries had to “dehumanize” the enemy, to make it easier for troops to kill them.
They could not be seen as fellow human beings, but as “things”, like evil beasts, that needed killing, and they were given names like “Krauts”, “Gooks”, “Slants”... you get the idea – to facilitate such dehumanization.
Well guess what? The same techniques have been used in movies and video games that have been given to kids, for decades now! And the hypocritical irony is that many of the Hollywood stars who have been lamenting these massacres

have also been making the very movies that set people up for them – movies in which people feel good that a gangster kills a “bad” cop. Then they lament that someone goes out and kills cops, and call for more gun control and banning. Shame on them!
And then Glenn Beck and Lieutenant Colonel Grossman touched on the topic that some of these video games actually teach excellent marksmanship skills, yet again, they don't teach people to be discriminate in who they would kill. They teach them to feel nothing and score points, no matter who they kill, and feel no remorse if they kill bad people or good people, having no respect at all for any human life. What dangerous training!
In fact, it seems that gangs and cartels like to use them for training their gangsters. Whoa!
I shouldn't go into anymore detail here – they were much better at it on that program. But I would urge everyone to see that program. Not just conservatives. This is important. Please urge everyone you can, to go see it. It not only contains the explanation of “why” that we've been missing for all these decades, but it starts to hint at the solutions!
For example, I think they said that, despite the fact that guns were even more “available” over 500 years of history, and in the United States before the 1970's, the first of these school massacres didn't take place until the late '70's. Why? Because movies in the '70's had started conditioning people in these ways. And as movies, and later video games, became more and more that way, the school massacres have become worse and worse, and more frequent!
And Lieutenant Colonel Grossman said exactly the same thing that I did in one of my recent blogs here. He pointed out that the Jihadist terrorists are also using these bad video games for training, and that sooner or later we're likely to see massive numbers of schools attacked, all at the same time, and possibly even on the same day at the same time, and if that happens, it could make Sandy Hook pale in comparison and absolutely destroy our way of life!
This is why I think it's crucially important, like I said in a recent blog here, not to just expand government and put a few armed guards in the schools, but to train and arm all teachers to defend and clear their own schools, and protect the children in their care! We must transition to the same strategy that the Israelis have used to successfully prevent school massacres, for many decades now!

And like I said before, I think that any teacher who is so cowardly that they refuse to be trained and armed to defend the children in their care, doesn't deserve to have children in their care! Period! Because that teacher can get them all killed!
It seems that in Utah, they figured all this out and have been doing it for awhile now.
But please, urge everyone you know, on all sides of the political spectrum, to go see the Glenn Beck TV Program from January 3rd. Don't quote me, but I believe The Blaze still offers a 2 week free trial. But it's only $5 a month, people! Urge them to take it, if they care about more than a simplistic socialist political agenda and really want to see this problem solved!
This is a litmus test and you'll be able to tell immediately, which ones really care and which ones only have a political agenda to destroy our rights and enslave us! It will separate the sincere from the jackals!
But please, pass the word to the whole world about this. This is not just an American phenomenon! These school massacres have happened all over the world, and for the same reasons! It's not the guns, people or “availability”. These massacres have happened in nations that already had very strict gun laws, for example at Dunblane, in Norway, Canada, Argentina, in so many places.

Please get the word out and get people to watch these Programs, so it doesn't continue, and only get much much worse, until it destroys our freedom and way of life, as it has in places like UK, because of massacres like Dunblane.

It chronicled atrocities committed by children on other children that were caused by what these children saw in popular comic books.
A popular theme in some crime comics was a young lady (with large breasts) tied to a chair or other object, with someone pointing a very sharp object (like an ice pick) at the pupil of her eye, and demanding an answer.
In the comics, the subject female's eye was never punctured, only threatened to be so. But in real life a large number of little girls were tied up by young boys, and threatened with a sharp object to their eye. Sadly many little girls LOST their eye when the threat was actually carried out in the heat of the moment.
In other comics another popular scene was some young man being placed on a stool, with hands tied behind them, and a noose around their necks. Someone's foot was on the chair or stool, threatening to overturn it and hang the subject. Unfortunately, quite a number of documented cases occured where "kids" acted out this scene in the comics, and accidentally or otherwise, overturned the chair or stool, hanging and killing the young man or young girl so put in jeopardy.
The author then made a plea at the end of the book to keep the TV programs clean of such things .... for as the new media of TV was moving pictures ...... and not static pictures like comic books, the author feared that far more damage to human life would occur.
Well. He was RIGHT ! (About TV, Movies, Graphic Novels, Violent Music like Gangsta Rap, and now Video Games). He wrote this in 1957 !!

Unfortunately, not only do we deal with the violence on TV, computer games, & the internet! Our own government alinskyizes all of the societal violence to their political benefit and AMERICA's demise. Sounds like a good time to show AMERICA that our government is nothing more than inhuman, selfish, tyrants out to KILL & DESTROY us using this type of tactic. Lets push the communists & gop of the VIOLENCE CLIFF!

Only when a suspect resists arrest to the degree that lives are threatened, or when by the impending actions of a suspect threaten the lives of others, do they kill.
Let's keep that fact straight!
My feeling on the Sandy Hook thing is that we are a society that has gone largely against both God's order and the natural order of what we should be and how we should behave toward each other. As a result, we are creating monsters. This might not explain Sandy Hook, but it certainly explains 99% of the other crap that we hear about day to day.
John Malvo, remember him?...he was the sniper/shooter that fired from the trunk of his car at anything white. He was one of these monsters. John Wayne Gacy was a monster! The evil in our world comes from the monsters. But the monsters have enablers. They have a press that glorifies them with book deals, daily headlines, and excuses for whatever crime was committed. The press ensures that there will be an endless supply of monster-wannabees. They have the Left/Liberalism that tries to point the finger at the Right for everything instead of trying to find remedies. They have schools that take more and more of the responsibility for raising a child, thus institutionalizing, and desensitizing them. These ensure that there is fertile ground for aberant behavior.
Even if there were no guns in the world, those that want to kill, will find ways to do it!

All public schools, all over America, have security cameras in many places, first and foremost, the front office to the school, where everyone who enters the school has to pass through. Where is the security camera video of Adam Lanza in Sandy Hook? Remember Columbine? There was security camera footage of those two killers all over the school. In the hallways, everywhere. You could clearly see them and their firearms. There were still pictures and a lot of video. It can still be easily found on the internet. Where are security photos and videos for Sandy Hook? The only footage I ever saw from Sandy Hook the day of the crime was from a news helicopter hovering over the school, as they filmed a short-haired, rather stocky white man who looked to be in his thirties or early forties, dressed in camo fatigues running his butt off heading for the woods behind the school, all while being chased by police officers. I was watching that video live, as it happened. Within hours of that same day, the video was scrubbed. Now I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone have it? If so, could they please post it?
Comment by jon j shirk on January 6, 2013 at 3:38pm Are you forgetting that these "massacres" almost always ocur at "Gun Free Zones" (GFZ)? If we do away with such designated areas, these mass killings would decrease drasticly. Not saying that attempts won't still happen, but the resulting carnage won't be near as bad.
And let's get some perspective about this. Think about the vast number of schools in the US verses the minute number of these shootings that occur per year. When you do, it reveals the true rarety of the incidents. It's like comparing the number of commercial aircraft that may be in flight at any given time, as compared to the number of crashes that take so many lives in just one. Yes, losing 100 to 300+ lives in one crash is still a horrible thing, but how often does it happen.
Do away with these GFZ's and we will greatly reduce the already rare occassion of mass shootings.
And let's face one very important fact, Mankind will never find a way to create a perfectly safe (an oxymoron in itself) environment for ourselves. There will always be dangerous people in our midst and we have to be prepared to deal with them as they come. Let no one tie our hands, preventing us from confronting those that threaten our well being.
