This morning former Governor of New York, George Pataki, endorsed Mitt Romney on FOX News. With his endorsement he told the rest of us to get behind Romney b/c in HIS opinion, we have our candidate now. Well, speak for yourself, Governor Pataki!
As I watched the Super Tuesday results come in, it was clear that Santorum is still giving Romney a run for his money, and that even Gingrich is still in this. But you would have never known it by the jabbering of the FOX pundits, and anchors, and the elitists in DC. To hear them talk, Romney has it "in the bag" so to speak. I finally had to turn it off, because they were so annoying, and I was getting angry.
Romney does have the most delegates, but he is still losing in many parts of America, and is FAR from having enough delegates to say he is the clear winner. Anything can happen! Some people just refuse to buy Romney as a "conservative" even though he keeps trying to convince them that he is. He's not a hummingbird, he's a RINO, and many people see that. But the elitists think that if they can just shove the RINO into a hummingbird nest, that we will surely finally see that he's a hummingbird. They still insist on shoving a round peg into a square hole, instead of admitting there is something wrong with their candidate. They did the same thing with McCain as you will recall.
Pataki's reasoning, as is the reasoning of many RINO's, is that Obama is winning b/c he doesn't have a clear opponent. I beg to differ. The Obama team doesn't know who to shoot at yet, as there is no clear winner. Therefore they are having to shoot at many moving targets instead of just one. I believe this is why they brought out Occupy Wallstreet, because they thought they KNEW who their opponent was going to be. But THEN Santorum started coming from behind and they had to throw out the "women's issues" and "values" tactics. They now had to expend more energy and money fighting both of them. They have had to do that all along as there were many in the race who have risen to the top and then fallen behind and dropped out. BUT they had to address them as if they could win. They are also having to use resources to do that. So I say, the more moving targets the BETTER. The GOP wants who they want and they don't give a crud who WE might want. Take your medicine and eat your peas, unwashed masses, because they are here to tell you that they know what's best for YOU. Really? Aren't they the reason we are in the mess we are in now? I blame them, as much as Obama, because THEY let him win, with their stupid tactics in the first place. I don't trust their judgment at ALL anymore, and neither do most thinking conservatives.
I agree with Sarah Palin, in letting the process work itself out. In doing that, not only are there more moving targets, but there are more candidates blasting Obama on a daily basis, and more voices telling the people where Obama is a mess of a President. There are more candidates going on Meet The Depressed and other left-wing programs, calling America's attention to Obama's many failures. The word is getting out BETTER this way, than when Obama finally turns his full force on ONE candidate. More moving targets=BETTER.
In WW2 if four US planes were being attacked by one Japanese Zero, the Zero has more shooting at him, and he has to spend more time avoiding incoming fire, than in targeting just one opponent. It's simple math, people. And YES, Obama is a ZERO!
This is called a RACE for a reason. In most races, everyone runs until there is a CLEAR winner at the END. If this were a horserace and the lead horse was two lengths ahead, should the rest of the horses just drop out and let him win? HECK NO! So why are they trying to convince us there is a clear winner when we KNOW better? Good question! It's because they want who THEY want and don't give a damn who "we the people" want.
So the elitists and pundits need to stop telling us who is best for us and to sit down and be quiet while they proceed to force feed us THEIR candidate. We will have this race, and no one should quit until the photo-finish, unless they have a broken leg. I say to them, YOU sit down and be quiet and let the process work!
