They are not focusing on the real problem. It's not capitalism that's the problem. It's crony capitalism that's the problem. The only companies that don't pay taxes are the ones that have connections to our federal government. The powers that be would have you to want to go after the rich, but that's simply a ploy to pit the working class against the rich and to ignore the cause of this problem.
The truth is that the government is the cause of crony capitalism. They use our current tax code as a means to give breaks to special interests in exchange for money.
Just like what Obama did with healthcare that has 26 states suing because of the mandate to force you to buy a product. The tax code needs to be completely overhauled.
My question is, how come when our president had a democratic super majority in the House and Senate to pass whatever he wanted, he did not overhaul the tax code in the same manner he did with healthcare that only needed fixing?
The root problem of our fair share dilemma is our government's negligence to do something with the tax code.
The progressive tax code is unfair in nature when you look at how God did it. God's is a 10% flat rate no matter how much your increase is. So you are free to enjoy the fruits of your labor. But the progressive system takes more of a percentage when you achieve more. That serves as a penalty for being successful. I feel God got it right. If a 10% flat tithe is good enough for Him, then Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan is right, being modeled after that. God's way is a flat tax, so a progressive tax should not be considered a good idea. Do away with the progressive tax, then crony capitalism will be plucked up by the roots. This levels the playing field and makes us more competitive to other countries. We don't need partisan fights. We need common sense solutions. Check out Herman Cain 9-9-9 plan on YouTube.
