The Constitution begins with "We the People." "We the People" ordained the Constitution and "We the People" must enforce it. If "We the People" do not act to enforce it, it will be ignored by the people we elect -- as it has been.
How best do "We the Conservative People" force our elected public servants to follow the Constitution? By organizing locally in our respective communities inside the Republican Party as precinct committeemen and precinct committeemen volunteers (there are only so many coveted precinct committeemen positions inside the Republican Party -- they are coveted because precinct committeemen, and only precinct committeemen, elect the Party officers and can vote to endorse candidates (if allowed by local committee bylaws).
Some "public interest" groups will tell you, "no worries, just send us money, we'll be able to persuade the "policymakers" with our superior intellect and arguments! How's that model been working out so far?
[You may be asking yourself, "Why should I read further? Who is this yahoo? Good question. I'm just someone with common sense, knowledge of what I speak, and a West Point grad who was an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army who studied and did "Cold War" battle against our commie/progressive/collectivist adversaries -- I know the ideology of our adversaries and I know how they think and what they believe.]
Here is a graphic that shows the failed "Public Interest Group" model. Well-intentioned (?) people who think they can change the "hearts and minds" of the commie/progressive/collectivist likes of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Ain't gonna happen. "Post-modernists" believe in nothing like we normal people do -- they do not believe in God (they will say they do) and they do not believe objective truth exists. They believe, as Mao said, "Power comes out of the barrel of a gun." These people will not be swayed by arguments, facts or logic. The only way to impact them is to replace them at the ballot box. Are you up to the task?
Others think that blogging all day, every day, to the conservative choir will somehow magically change the outcome of the elections. And isn't that our goal? Don't we conservatives want to CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTIONS?????

Here's a graphic that explains why the "blogging strategy" won't work:
Folks, if you want to change the outcome of the elections, and change the behavior of the incumbents, you have to get out of the ineffectual "bleachers" of politics and get into the real ball game of politics. That game is played by precinct committeemen inside the two major parties. Are you one? If not, you better become one. Or you will lose your country.
