Now days all eyes are on the White House, with good reason. We have a President who almost daily sends out edicts like King George lll. In fact the news media treats him and his wife more like royalty than a servant of the people.
The White House was the First Federal building to be built in the Capital. When the cornerstone was laid, George Washington was absent from the proceedings. However when the cornerstone of the Capital was laid, Washington not only attended but helped lay the cornerstone.
His thought was this, the legislative branch of government WAS THE most IMPORTANT part of the new nation's Government.
The Presidency is one leg of the Govessernment, The Executive leg. The part whose job it is to enforce the laws enacted by Congress, not to tell Congress, The Supreme Court, and the citizenry what he wants and what we should or should not be doing.
The Congress should have the will to take back its' authority, and the dominion it was given in the Constitution, instead of shrugging its' collective sholders and nodding when any President demands that his way is the only way and he will have it the Constitution be damned.
We must remember the Presidency is important, it is not the only office up for re-election or election. Our local, county, state and yes Federal elections are just as important as the Presidential office.
Our political system was set up to reflect Civilian Control of Government, NOT, Governmental Contrtol of the Citizens. It is High time for us to remember this and EXECUTE OUR CONTROL OVER OUR GOVERNMENT.
Let's make the Capital the most important building in Wasington again. Find and Support candidates that will remember that they serve us, not the other way around.

Good words.....but I think CEO is not the proper title. The President must be a "Leader" (like George Washington) NOT A LOGISTICIAN..."THE BOTTOM LINE DOES NOT BELONG TO THE PRESIDENT"..BUT RATHER "WE THE PEOPLE".

THE "CHECKING SYSTEM" TO ENSURE PROPER HANDLING OF MONEY IS CUMBERSOME AND NOT EFFICIENT...BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER "INTENDED" TO BE EFFICIENT ! IT WAS INTENDED TO BE "SMALL ENOUGH NOT NEED MUCH OVERSITE' !

His primary goal is to Defend the Constitution and the Country against All attacks. Foreign and domestic. He is the chief law enforcement officer, responsible for applying constitutional laws passed by congress and signed into law by the president., None of the branches of government get the final word. If it comes to a deadlock, the House of Representatives gets the extra point.
All three branches were created by the States for the benefit of the States. Now, the federal government, (all branches) seems to think the people work for it. This must change, even if it comes to war between the citizens and the federal government. Otherwise we will be no different than the America before 1776. In many ways, we are worse off than that America.

The list of offenses is stunning. The results will be sent to Lamar Smith, the House Judiciary committee chairman. Wonder if there is any cooperation between Keyes and Sheriff Joe?
