There is no doubt that Romney would perform better in New York, Massachusetts or Vermont than the rest of the pack. But Republcans have little or no chance in those states! True, he would lose 53-47 in New York while Gingrich would likely lose 59-41 and Santorum would lose 58-42. So what!

Point is, when you add the better numbers in New York into the mix, it wrongly skews Romneys overall numbers. The media has been slow to point this out!

Never say never! But I think that Romney is the least electable of the four. Visit www.eaglesforamerica.com There is a post from three weeks ago discussing "Can Romney win?" It would be interesting to hear feedback on it from the group.

It will be very difficult for Mitt to beat Obama. Even if he does, what will we have? "Bill Clinton, without the sex scandals?" That's an improvement. But not much of one! I would rather take my chances with a floor fight. Or, selecting another candidate.

Jeff. Your blog is interesting. I would like to add information on the side of Newt. On January 31, 2012 the Hispanic Community in the nation lead by the Hispanic and Asian groups in CA have pledged to support Newt due to his stand on immigration. I do not believe that has changed as a matter of fact I think not long ago the Romney group worried that Mitt did not carry the Hispanics as they would like in addition they were looking at Mitt appointing at this time a Hispanic VP but to my memory I think they refused to commit.
