Texan Legislators have the Audacity to call a fetus an UNBORN CHILD?

An article posted in Examiner.com titled “Stand for Life” provides a pasted copy of House Bill 2 recently signed into law.  When one takes the time to read the bill they will be encouraged by the courage of the legislators who had the audacity to call a fetus an unborn child as of the time of conception.  One can only image the out-rage pro-abortionists are going to have.  In addition to other courageous verbiage, Texan Legislators also mandated that if an abortion is performed on an unborn child of age of 20 weeks or more then that procedure must be one of a delivery, giving the unborn child the best chance for survival as would a premature child would have.

One can only imagine the impact this is going to have on the liberal element.  They for years have defended their argument that abortion is not killing an unborn child and isn’t considered an unborn child till later but medical evidence has indicated that an unborn child is capable of experience pain by not later than 20 weeks after fertilization.

Good things are happening in Texas and as always, Texas takes the lead in doing the right things for the right reasons.  This may be one of the reasons why Texas still remains strong in this wicked generation.

Chas,

Texas was a separate nation before it became a state that is why it can fly it's flag at a even level with the America flag . . there are many sites to review the ability here is a few take your choice . .

Incentivizing illegals to go to Texas could be dealt with forthwith...declare English the official language in the state and refuse to dispense any documents in a language other than English...and refuse any assistance to illegals OR their babies that are born in the USA, in essence telling them to go to California for their "benefits". I live in NY, and we have a terrible dilemma with illegals and people whose families are on welfare in perpetuity. Just heard a broadcast on NPR or one of those stations in which the speaker stated that it is the duty of the government to give people insurance. Those ignorant folks know nothing about the beginnings of this great nation and have turned it into the communist state that it is.

To Magnus,

Regardless of any "agreement," agreements do not trump the plain language in the constitution.

Article IV, Section. 3 - U.S. Constitution

New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

Chas,

Texans or all ethnic types will not allow us to go Blue - there would be a division of the Republic into FIVE STATES with 10 Senators before we would turn blue . . yes we have that right to form five Separate States that was part of the agreement - one sovereign nation to another sovereign nation. We would have 8 Conservative Senators huh?

I'm being drawn more and more to the State of my Mother's birth, for just such reasons...

Texas BEWARE!

Do NOT, for even one moment, doubt that leftist "Progressives" are trying "by any and ALL means," to turn Texas from a Red State into a deep, deep Blue State.

The Left will stop at NOTHING in their attempts to add Texas to New York and California! Common Core was deep into Texas schools before it was exposed. As was Agenda 21. Look for Obama to incentivize  millions of "former Illegal Invaders" to settle in Texas!
