I realize that this Sequester stuff is beginning to sound a lot like a broken record, especially since there has not been a single argument that can be characterized as new which has been stated since we began on this path of constant crisis in January of 2009. Ordinarily, since I've had my say, and those opinions which I've stated haven't changed, and the opinions of those who stand opposed to my point of view have not changed, ever, I would have moved on. That was until this morning, when I read something new.
President's are supposed to lead, as this is what Chief Executives do. I have never in my life seen such a spectacle, and what's even worse, is that this spectacle has been given a complete pass by an adoring and fawning press, who at least no longer even bothers to claim objectivity. That spectacle is that Barack Obama, the self proclaimed paragon of transparency and post partisan leadership has managed to extricate himself from anything resembling responsibility for any of his policies or directives. Sequestration, and its entire silly premise that our government can not possibly get by on spending 2.2 fewer cents for every Hundred Bucks our elected leaders plan to blow in the future, is being reported as an occurrence which has happened independently of anything our President has participated in or even knew about. (Anyone who's bothered to do the slightest bit of research already knows that Sequestration was not only Barack Obama's brainchild, but that he refused to sign the 2011 budget deal without its inclusion.)
Somehow, making do with a course of action which should be taken as an opportunity to reign in our disastrous current path that will make Greece seem like the annual Fourth of July national birthday bash which occurs annually on the Washington Mall, has become instead an opportunity for our President to inflict as much pain on the American People as his most cynical day dreams thought possible. I know we've all suspected this would happen, but now, we have Team Obama's private emails to prove it.
From the Washington Times Article:
In the email sent Monday by Charles Brown, an official with the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Brown asked “if there was any latitude” in how to spread the sequester cuts across the region to lessen the impacts on fish inspections.He said he was discouraged by officials in Washington, who gave him this reply: “We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”
“This email confirms what many Americans have suspected: The Obama administration is doing everything they can to make sure their worst predictions come true and to maximize the pain of the Sequester cuts for political gain,” said Rep. Tim Griffin, Arkansas Republican.
What we have here is a President and an Administration that has officially stated as their purpose, to use Sequestration as a tool to inflict pain on the American People, so that we'll all get together and be really mad at those people who oppose Barack Obama politically.
American Citizens, how much more of these people do you wish to inflict yourselves with? This is not some cap and trade idiocy, or even the far reaching damage of Obamacare, but our top elected official who has taken the sudden appearance of tin pot dictator, announcing his intention to inflict punishment on any citizen who dares to oppose his policies. In fact, he's promised to inflict that punishment on everybody in order to foment hatred of those who would dare to oppose him politically. I don't know how you personally define evil, but something like this has to qualify under even the most naively forgiving definitions of that word.
This is of course not the first time that we've had vital services crop up as the very first thing cut when austerity measures became unavoidable. It is the norm, and for good reason. When people realize the absolute useless crap upon which our money is wasted on our behalf by bureaucrats run amok, they tend to get a little angry. When they notice that something is a waste, they might not mind seeing it go by the wayside.

Back in my teaching days, many years ago, one of the things I liked to ask the class to consider was this: Imagine a government agency with only two tasks: (1) building statues of Benedict Arnold and (2) providing life-saving medications to children. If this agency's budget were cut, what would it do?
The answer, of course, is that it would cut back on the medications for children. Why? Because that would be what was most likely to get the budget cuts restored. If they cut back on building statues of Benedict Arnold, people might ask why they were building statues of Benedict Arnold in the first place.
Currently, our government has spent for the past four years, (part of the vaunted Stimulus Package,) Millions on a program designed to teach Chinese Prostitutes how to imbibe alcoholic beverages responsibly. That program is not only slated to escape the wrath of Sequestration, but according to the laws governing baseline budgeting, shall be increasing in scope automatically each and every year, from now through the end of time. Seeing as how, and I'm only guessing here, most Americans have never and probably will never purchase the delightful services of a Chinese Prostitute, that cutting this vital program would be money saved with nary an impact felt by anyone not paid to teach Chinese ladies of the night how to hold their liquor. That wouldn't fit Team Zero's agenda however, which is making you sorry you ever contemplated not engulfing your great great great great great........ grandchildren in a debt so over the top massive, that they may someday be able to actually pay it off.
Special Note: The above illustration was not meant to disparage Chinese Whores in any way, as these hard working women are at the very least earning their money honestly, which is more than I can say for America's current President.

I predicted that the success in winning back the House would not have much affect because there is no stomach, in the congress, to address the root cause of all the problems, greed and corruption. The constitution feeds and even encourages these two evils so the chances that the majority of our representatives and senators will do the right thing is remote.
A year earlier I posted a blog entitled "It's The Money Stupid" in an attempt to get people focused on the root cause of our problems instead of focusing on the symptoms.

So here we are bitching and complaining about immigration, or climate change, or gun control, etc, etc., but the moeny lies at the roots of all, yes all of these problems. However, it takes a willing congress and the will of the states to et the job done. This, I predict, will not happen because they are feeding at the trough of the taxpayer like hungry hogs. What is their motivation to stop filling their pockets with our money and the money of those who buy their influenc and Obama is no different, he is just taking his slice of the pie.

He can't handle not getting his way. Of course, this DOES make him a dangerous person in the position he holds! Someone in D.C. has got to speak up and do more than make pretty speeches and then drop the whole issue, like Fast & Furious and Benghazi.

Drones to be used on Americans inside the US and ammunition and light armored vehicles sound like a prescription for killing off desenters and anyone who speaks up against King Obama's policies. He says he is not a Dictator, but he acts like one and uses his position by lies and deception. If our Congress won't even attempt to Impeach him for his violations to our Constitution, which is the law of land only when it comes to stating that Obamacare passed the Supreme Court's muster. First of all, Obamacare did not even meet one of the limited and enumerated powers given to Congress to Legislate, so how can it even be considered lawful. Pelosi and Reid got this voted on from a Democratically controlled Senate and House of Reps in the dark of the night behind closed doors. If it were an ethical bill, it should have been done in daylight and Legislators as well as the public should have been able to review it for at least 72 hours. Secondly, Obama has circumvented the Constitution a number of times and has mandated unlawful legislation himself by way of Executive Orders. The list goes on and on, but the worst ones of all are Fast and Furious, Benghazi with arms trading going on, and now handing over millions to Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood who are made up terrorists and jihadists. Aiding and abetting the enemy is Treason. Yet, Congress sits on their hands and lets this Usurper continue is destructive ways. WHY? GIVE ME A GOOD REASON WHY? As far as I am concerned they are all complicit in the same treasonous acts as Obama by virtue of not upholding their Oaths of Office to protect, preserve and defend our U. S. Constitution. They all but maybe a dozen deserve to be ousted from Office and primaried in 2014. If we don't start getting rid of the RINOs and the Liberals, we will have nothing left for future generations to come.

Why do you think O wants to control the Internet, so he can shut it down if we get rowdy. Why do you think the Social Security forces us to take our money by direct deposti, and why O wants control of the banks? Why do you think he wants it LAWFUL to have drone strikes against Americans inside the US, in case there is a riot? Is any of this connecting the dots for anyone?
