Alan Barton and the Front Page crew take a look at the asinine claim of a 9 to 1 spending gap in the Wisconsin recall election, and the even more asinine thought that a spending difference means an end to the democratic process.
An yet another well reasoned argument comparing our civilization to the Roman Empire, more specifically its fall. This one has a twist to it however, and that twist is the realization that we don't have to do this. We can pull ourselves out of it by simply discarding the blather and nonsense spouted by the pampered elite pseudo intellectuals who unfortunately keep finding themselves in positions where credence is lent to their idiocy. Watch MSNBC for five minutes some evening, and you will instantly know what I mean.
One of the unexpected sources of amusement for me this election season has been to watch Bill Clinton's destruction of the Obama Campaign while appearing everywhere with the President and clapping him patronizingly on the back. We have run the gamut from Clinton being taken to the woodshed to having the Obama Campaign claim that Wild Billy Jeff is senile now. I don't know how much longer this will continue, and no, I am not a Clinton fan now, but it is fun to watch Don Clintonleone teach the Bamster how the game of political destruction should be played.

Comment by Peter D Sowatskey on June 10, 2012 at 10:51am I think the money spent on TV during elections is a waste, both sides. To take a poll and ascertain effectivness of ads is looking in a crystal ball. Yeah, I know, negative ads are effective, for a short time, if they're fact based.
I know most of you are tired of me carping about the silent 40% of our population who don't vote.
I keep doing it because the other party might figure out a way to reach them before we do.
If that happens, we are toast.
So, if you have a line into the Koch brothers, tell them to spend their money on the silent 40% and get results lasting longer than the next channel change.

Now I remember why I don't watch MSNBC. [ok, sometimes, gotta keep an eye on the insanity least it come to roost on your doorstep.]
In the meantime we are making some progress towards saving this nation.
Thanks to the many patriots that post here, support this site{and other similar} and visit and take the information out into the population.
The new age of information dissemination has certainly changed the face of the 'Business as usual' politics that has nearly destroyed this great nation and led US to the brink of financial ruin.
Term limits amendment??????? STOP SCREWING WITH THE CONSTITUTION!
An informed citizen will be able to toss those goofy bastards out of office, as opposed to letting them draft an amendment with so many "back-doors" as to be laughable.I really do not want the greedy SOB's that spent their whole life's trying to get inside the 'beltway' rewriting a perfectly fine document and committing my children and my children's' children to some kind of socialist hell.
Keep up the good work my friends, we must not fail.

Comment by JOHN DELASAUX on June 9, 2012 at 1:40pm Apparently, we are all so fascinated with watching the great collection of MSNBC blathering which John W. has provided, that we haven't yet gotten down to posting much on this blog!
The Libs are so out of touch with the anger that we have with the union bosses and the scam they have perpetrated on us for years, that they can't grasp the monumental importance of the Wisconsin recall election.
We have just found out that there is an end in sight, that we can actually break the noose around our necks, that we can use the election process to put the unions in their place and remove them from their position of power in our government.
We have been able to kick them out in Wisconsin, the very beginning point for unions in our public sector.
We have been able to kick them out in two cities in California, the most Liberal state in the US.

The Wisconsin victory over reckless spending on union pensions also gives us tremendous hope that people will see the need to clean out the White House in the next election, before Premier Obama destroys the US economy with his reckless spending spree.
Comment by Robert M. Hellen, Sr. on June 9, 2012 at 1:18pm When it comes to this society, the Inmates of the Asylum have taken over and are running things. This plays out every day for all to see. Watch MSNBC for five minutes??? I'd rather have a tooth pulled!
well... they never win with the truth... no reason to expect they'd lose and come clean...
