Rich bleeding hearts

I love all these rich elected leaders who are out telling the American people that if we cut any programs, it will hurt the children, the old people will die. If they really cared about the children & old people why don't they take a cut in pay to help them or donate some of there millions to help them. Instead they keep there money and increase there benefits & income, but want the American people to give more of there resources to help, while passing more laws to take more of our resources. These new laws they pass do not hurt there pocketbook, it only gain votes for themselves, while bleeding the average American people. I love the fact that if we have a shut down they will keep there income but our military families will not get there checks. When the republicans wanted a bill to make sure the the military families get there checks Mr. Harry Reid wouldn't even put it out for a vote and Mr. Obama said he would veto it. Is this caring about the American people and our country, or is it more about keeping benefits for there special groups that vote and keep them in power.
