On Friday, August 1, 2014 the “Demented Darling of the Democratic Party” - Congresswoman and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi finally spoke the truth; sadly we must report that she survived the experience.
During a debate on the border funding bill in the House of Representatives, Representative Tom Marino (R-PA) stated the simple truth that when Ms. Pelosi was Speaker of the House and the Democrats were the majority in both houses, they did nothing about our border crisis.
Ms. Pelosi took extreme exception to his stating of the facts, chased him across the House floor and told him that he was “an insignificant person”.
Now I ask you: If a standing and highly respected member of the House of Representatives is considered to be “an insignificant person”, then how must this Demented Darling of the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party as a party view YOU - the people she and it is supposed to “represent”?
I have many times admitted to having been called many things; some of which may have been justifiably earned and some of which may or may not have been earned at all and some that are not printable. But I have never been called “insignificant”.
insignificant - unimportant, of no consequence, contemptible
I am sure that I may have been viewed as all of the above at one time or another by some folks and that does not bother me when it originates within my peers. It falls into the category of “personal opinions” which are always biased.
But when a demented member of congress refers to another member of congress who is an equal member, but in good standing, as “an insignificant person” what do you suppose they think of We The People whom they allegedly represent?
If a peer in Congress is “an insignificant person” to them, then they must view us as some lower form of life to be served up as cattle at a barbecue; vermin to be stepped over and stepped upon.
In many cultures the “mentally challenged” are thought to be “touched by the gods” and are able to see and speak empirical truths. Nancy Pelosi may qualify as one of those and she is not alone.
Stay silent or stay strictly among those who are of a similar mind and do nothing more than complain amongst yourselves and you will remain “a most insignificant person”.
But unite with those of a similar view and reach out to others to join you and raise a single voice loud enough to shake the very foundations of our corrupt government and We The People can turn the tables and it will be they who are truly “insignificant persons”.
