Protected Status For Haitian Nationals

I know what is going on in Haiti is a catastrophic disaster, But we can not give Haitian Nationals, who by the way, came into America illegally, protected status, the impact of this is way to far reaching. The war between the Mexican government and the drug dealers could and would be covered. This WILL give the Obama administration the ability to legalise any and all people who come here illegally. Once people get protected status they will get citizenship. It gives them basically the same rights as a citizen. They have the right to work, medicare coverage. Just not the right to vote, yet. Obama's people are making sure that this crisis does not go to waist. Shame on them. If i am wrong on this, someone please prove it, don't just say it. This matter is to important to get wrong.
