progress is not so great

Progress is not so great:
 
 When my Grandfather closed a deal it was with a handshake. He did not need 6 lawyers and 9 reams of paper.His word was his Honor. People today can not even spell honor let alone know what it means.
Progress is not so great:

     When I was young my mother ,sister and myself would walk down town to go to the movie show ,this was after dark,and we walked back after dark. We never even thought about it.
When we would go on Vacations,we did not have to worries to much about locking up our house,our neighbors would watch out for the house.Neighbors were neighbors then not just some person who lived next door

Progress is not so great:
Back then when a person broke the law they paid the price,Today people in our Prisons are treated better,have more care than our service people get with the V.A.

Progress is not so great:
Today we have civil rights,gay rights,animals rights left wing rights and right wing rights and every body else rights,the only thing we do not is Common Sense,some where we lost that.

After thinking about how things used to be and the way they are now,I have concluded that not only is Progress not so great(It sucks.)
