Pelosi's Daughter Mocks Poor Whites in the South

Jack E. Kemp

In advance of the Mississippi and Alabama primaries, Bill Maher has sent Nancy Pelosi's daughter Alexandra to make fun of poor people in the South.

The Daily Caller reports - and shows a video - stating:

http://dailycaller.com/2012/03/11/pelosis-daughter-maher-unite-to-p...

As Alabama and Mississippi prepared for their Tuesday primaries, the water was warm for “aren’t Southerners stupid” jokes on HBO’s “Real Time” Friday night. But host Bill Maher went a step further, deploying House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter to Mississippi to find out just how dumb voters are down in the South.

END OF QUOTE

The film Pelosi's daughter featured run down homes in the South in a highly prejudicial and insulting segment. But where to begin?

Bill Maher is from New Jersey. I don't want to regale you with "Jersey" jokes that I've heard here in New York. I have friends in New Jersey, among them people who write comments to my TPN posts. But does the name "Snooki" ring a bell? And Alexandra Pelosi's grandfather was mayor of Baltimore and U.S. Congressman from Maryland, which is considered a Southern state because it is south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

It's one thing for a jerk like Bill Maher to make these remarks, but the daughter of the recent and former Speaker of the House is a direct link to the Democratic Party leadership. This is stupid and arrogant and a virtual invitation to write off the entire South in 2012. You may recall a saying about "who the gods would first destroy, they first make mad." To that I'll add that although I'm from New York, I know when someone is too dumb to grow kudzu when I see them - and Alexandra Pelosi fits that bill. And although she may believe that "The Crimson Tide" has something to do with coastal pollution, she and her mother Nancy are going to find out what it means next November when they count votes in the South. Y'all better believe it.

And if anyone from a poor white neighborhood near Boston or Minneapolis or Salt Lake City thinks these remarks by Nancy Pelosi's daughter weren't also directed at you, you've spent too much time ice fishing and your brain has frozen. These remarks were directed at all poor and middle class white voters from Ocala, Florida to Wasilla, Alaska - and all points in between. And them is fightin' words.

Yes, many of these people were racially prejiduced, and not well educated and had hygene and dental problems.

If the reporter were to go into an urban black neighborhood and conducted the same interviews, you would get very similar responses and appearances.

But while it is ok to treat caucasians like this it would be a big taboo to show blacks in the same light!

Douglas N,

I know the sound well and believe in it's message. The conclusions I have drawn through life, what I have seen not heard, make me who I am. I am still out to lunch whether this makes me a Yank or a Reb. So my bottom line is, I am a United States citizen. As such, I will conduct myself to promote our country and it's virtues and way of life that has made us number one in so many ways. The oath I took 55 years ago is still in effect even after death do us part. I will haunt our enemies.

I am from East Central Georgia and absolutely proud of it.  I have traced my ancestry back to Wales England in the early 1500's.  My ancestry includes people such as George Washington, Winston Churchill and many other prominent patriots of America and CONSERVATIVE thinking.  My ancestors fought for the freedoms we MUST defend in this country during the Revolution and all subsequent wars. Having said that, I come from poor white Tobacco Road families (literally) that have been depicted as "poor white trash."  My grand mother was an illiterate direct decendant of Francis Ball (male) direct ancestor of Mary Ball , mother of George Washington. I say all of this not to brag but to indicate that we "poor dumb southerners" have a very long history of service and residence in these United States of America.  I am only one of many with like and shared heritage scattered all over the south and the rest of the Nation.  We are neither "dumb" or "ignorant" as the Maher's, Pelosi's as well as other hateful liberals would have us believe.  Most of their ilk are second or third generation immigrants who do not have an appreciation for the sacrifices that made this nation great.  Also, they are the products of the government controlled liberal indoctrination of our public and many private schools that alter history and eliminate parts that do not fit their liberal agenda. I will continue ti fight this liberal socialist communist push to destroy America just as my forefathers did before me.  This is not to disparage any first, second, third or other generation of patriotic Americans.  I am proud of them, my wife being a third generation of Italian decent and a very patriotic American.  The Pelosi's and Maher's must be ousted November 2012 and every time the sneak their slimy selves into our governmental offices.

Walter, the Hank Williams, Jr. song, "A Country Boy Can Survive" illustrates your point very well.

In my above average travels in and out of this country, I have lived in many places. I was born and raised in Upstate, NY. I married a Georgia peach, lived in North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. I got to know people in all places. Today I still travel at my leisure and continue to meet people all over this country. An education books will not give you. This discussion needs to be sent to as many as possible. I will email it to my list as I have others. It will cause a backlash these narrow minded people have not considered.

The drive I see behind this as I see it is the coming crisis in our country. You hear and read about it from many quarters. The government is gearing up for it with rumors of martial law, FEMA camps being manned, the recently passed Defense bill that gives the President blanket authority to lock people up without due process and the list goes on.

It will become a survival situation for each of us. The government knows the people are ready to rebel. The math 300+ million vs. 545 is not in their favor. They fear personally owned weapons.

Those who will survive this best are those in the South who are country folks compared to  those who live in the big cities. Wyoming and other states fall into the same category as the south. Those that live in the country or close to it, have weapons for hunting etc. They do this as a part of their life style.Added to this, they are feisty as a rule. My father-in-law and I went round and round until I proved my worth in the field and could assimilate to their way of life. The Southern people, gracious as they are, will fight at the drop of a hat when someone riles them. This is the backlash not seen by Maher and that herd of people.

The government will have a hard time corralling them. The government fears them. The government has a history of discrediting, belittling, and trashing those they fear and can not logically talk around. Bill Maher is and has been one of those ignorant, narrow minded left wingers who constantly shows this ignorance. Things they can not talk around are falsely discredited and scorned.

Well said Mr. Kemp but too many words.  One only needs to know what we always knew, Nancy was an elitist, one of the dumbest members of Congress, surpassed only by the likes of Maxine Waters or Sheila Jackson Lee.  The apple couldn't fall far from that tree.

Remember this great day?? : )

Looks like the Nancerooni and her hag daughter are desperately searching for relevance, and not finding it. Not that anyone cares what either of them say.

Oh, and btw, for anyone still paying for HBO or any kind of Leftist-controlled entertainment, you are actively subsidizing everything you hate, and making people who despise you very rich. We cut off our cable a long time ago, and have enjoyed pocketing the money we save. We are very careful about what we read, listen to, and watch, and are very, very careful not to put our hard-earned money into the pockets of Lefties who would cheerfully kill us if they could get away with it. Please don't think the Left wants only to silence us. They want to kill us, and when they control the health care system in this country via ObamaCare (unless it is stopped very soon), and can ration out care as they see fit, that is exactly what they will do. The Death Panels will kill a lot more than tiny innocents like Trig Palin.
