My late Mama instructed, “Never put your business in the street”. Due to the extremely serious situation in which we find our country today, I must share my personal testimony (put my business in the street) to save America.
In 1993, I quit my 15 year position at an ABC affiliate TV station in Baltimore to pursue a new career in music. At that time, callers on the Rush Limbaugh show were losing their jobs to down-sizing. Rush encouraged them to view it as an opportunity to pursue their dreams. Inspired and with Mary's blessings, I quit my position, despite being in line for department head.
In short, Mary and I lost everything – home, cars and savings. On numerous occasions, we were financially down-for-the-count with no hope in sight. Every time, God came to our rescue with just enough to keep us going. During our several years “wilderness experience”, Mary and I grew in character, wisdom and gratitude. But most of all, we learned to trust God.
So while I am in solidarity with the frustration of fellow patriots across America regarding the reelection of Obama, the surrender of the Republicans, the transformation of what it means to be an American and the deterioration of our culture, I MUST continue fighting to restore/take back America!
I can not and will not join in your hopelessness and surrender.
My firm resolve and optimism are rooted in the Word of God. Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
I can not tune out the news and allow an evil Godless liberal Administration and mainstream media to treat the Constitution like toilet paper and ravish our culture. Edmund Burke said, “The only thing needed for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing.”
Patriots, along with myself, you are good men and women whom God has prepared for such a time as this – to save America. You fought valiantly over the past four years. I totally understand and share your disappointment, anger and sadness for our country.
However, sticking your heads in the sand, is not the answer. For me to do so would feel like me telling God, “I no longer trust You. Thus, I will not continue the mission you called me to fulfill.” For me, such a decision is impossible.
I am Chairman of a new PAC, Conservative Campaign Committee, to fight back with TV ads and etc.
Brother and sister patriots, come back – get back into the battle. America is too extraordinarily precious to do otherwise. We can not simply allow them to “have it”!

You have a knack of pulling me back from the brink. You capsulize everything I believe so well. We all may come from different backgrounds, color or experiences but very few come through life unscathed. To appreciate what we have we would have had to experience character building hardship. It is the perpetual children with no such reference who feel so entitled. Now all we have to do is engage those people and make them understand the preciousness of the gift of this country and its freedoms and unite in a common goal before we lose it.
Comment by Ronald Sorrells on January 4, 2013 at 10:45pm I intend to be fair to All But Fearful of None. We live in a "Free Country" and anyone that wants to join us and adhere to the same "Rule of Law as We are Welcome".

Comment by Whitehorse on January 4, 2013 at 10:42pm William, the fight is raging right now in the political arena & the arena of ideas. For the love of God, Country, & family, let's keep the fight there. Our country's already gone through the incredible hell of a civil war; we don't want that to happen again.
Comment by William Homolka on January 4, 2013 at 10:35pm The "good news" is that we are resolved to never surrender, and continue to resist. Our brethren the colonials is what keeps me focused, and patriots like Winston Churchill and his spirit. We must never surrender, never give up. That alone will frost the left's nuts. And, if fighting starts, let the left draw first blood. I speak with many people who are ready to rock. Lloyd, you are the greatest and an inspiration. Keep doing what you do so well.
Comment by Whitehorse on January 4, 2013 at 5:49pm I believe, if we dug down into it, we'd see that in the swing states that went for Obama with NO PhotoID requirement, Romney won the legitimate vote race but lost on illegitimate votes. Ohio, VA, Florida - all need to have PhotoID required & enforced by 2014, 2016 at the latest.
Obama got 50.6% of the popular vote - which includes the dependency laden cities of New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Cleveland, & other large metropolitan areas with dense populations of dependent people. Absolutely no mandate.
Sumsanity, good luck & Godspeed. I was laid off in 1994 & also September 15, 2001 - stay strong & move ahead, never give up! Before I started with the wonderful company I'm at now, the week before, I was working a temp job filing documents - using my alphabetization skills! Got a lot of paper cuts, but made some money, contacts, & set a good example for my grown son to follow when he found himself laid off last year.
Tom, you're right, we have to stop preaching to the choir - we have to get out & speak to people just as normal human beings & not be afraid to explore areas of agreement. I have a friends who are black & Democrats, & can't stand welfare abuse - they also want school choice. Can we get all of them? No... Can we perhaps get 1 in 10? YES! Latinos have a big pro-life bent - if we would have hit Obama on Spanish language radio, TV, & print on the born alive infant protection act & partial birth abortion, we could have depressed turnout for him among latinos as well as perhaps garnered a few more votes for Romney.
We have to fight, struggle in the political arena of ideas & not be afraid to get our hands dirty. If someone is punching you, you don't pat them with a feather - you do punch back strategically, with a combination. It's better that you are on offense & throw the political punches, have them blocking.
Comment by Sumsanity on January 4, 2013 at 11:50am Who's going to Obama's inauguration? We ought to remind people we are not defunct as the media suggests and hopes.
As for me I just got laid off last month. I'm not quitting. I'm going back to school. This economy WILL turn around. Albeit a lot slower than if Romney were elected. But then, the average voter doesn't do a lot of research.
Let's go to the 'Chosen One's" inauguration and let him know how that 'Hope and Change' worked out.
Comment by Tom Depe on January 4, 2013 at 8:42am Its not a military battle, its a marketing battle, its a battle to make people "buy" your idea.
Unfortunatly we continue to sell our message only to our own people, which is like advertising fish to fishermen. We need to go into the urban districts, go to the gay community, advertise among young people, go to the single mums, attract the immigrants, catch the black community ec.
As long as the majority of TPN is elderly, white, middel-class from non-urban districts we have no chance to win the majority of the people of America.
Comment by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on January 4, 2013 at 8:35am We have to get the attention of the Congress and make them act like Americans. How do we do it?
It matters who counts the votes and as Mr. Whitehorse says, States are where we have to fight and defend what's right and wrong in order to gain back control of the out of control federal government. I have heard absolutely nothing about voter ID since the election and the courts should be flooded with it right now, it's too late come election time.
Comment by Allen Bray on January 4, 2013 at 7:47am With you, Mr. Marcus.
People fail to realize that we are in a WAR, not a battle. Wars last years and years. The revolutionary army lost the battle of Bunker Hill (Breed's Bulge), but won the war years later.
We have suffered casualties, such as the loss of Col. West in the U.S. House. But, we have made progress in the states and have discovered the tactics of the opposition (i.e., mobilization of labor union forces). As in any war, we must have strategy and tactics. We must hold the ground we have gained and advance on the positions held by the opposition (U.S. Senate, President, media, academia, etc.).
For five years I have claimed that this will be a protracted, tiring, and, at times, disheartening effort. We did not arrive here in 15 minutes, and it will take years to set it right once again. But, the fight is correct; the objective is just. Our warriors must have strength, reason, tenacity, and stamina.
Let us celebrate our victories. Each state that has gained ground in taking their legislature, chamber, or gubernatorial mansion from the opposition should report so that we can rejoice in that progress. In TN, for example, we have a super-majority in the state house and senate, and delivered the entire state for the R2 campaign.
We are with you in the fight, Lloyd, for however long it takes, or as long as the Lord lets us live to do battle beside you.
