Maybe “chicken little” was right and the sky is falling or maybe the sleeping giants have awakened from their long winter’s nap because our freedoms and rights are being assaulted. It’s time to restore our Government as a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Today the Supreme Court is starting to study the Constitutionality of the Obamacare or Affordable Health Care Act. How will the Supreme Court Judges approach a decision on the mandate in Obamacare forcing people to either pay a fine or purchase healthcare insurance? Will they do their job and carefully and interpret the law or will they merely rewrite the law?
Will Elena Kagan be forced to recuse or will she slide under the political radar and be permitted to listen to the oral arguments and be one of the final decision makers? Could Republicans have pulled the plug on Obama’s Supreme Court nomination (Elena Kagan) or was it a done deal?
When Elena Kagan said she doesn’t have a view on our unalienable and God given rights that should have disqualified her from serving on our Supreme Court, but for whatever reasons that didn’t happen. Our Constitution was written by our forefathers to protect our unalienable and God given rights – the Constitution wasn’t meant to create or invent our rights, because they were our God given rights etched in stone.
Allowing Kagan to sit on the Supreme Court bench may well be one of the worst mistakes of our lifetime because she was presented a lifetime commission to act as one of our Supreme Court Justices – this is a person who is immersed in Communism and has strong ties with Van Jones, John Podesta and of course Barack Obama.
Obamacare is another albatross that was passed and not one Republican or Democrat was privy to the intricate ramifications of the bill – as Pelosi said Obamacare has to be passed so we can find out what is in it. Americans were ignored, big Government just thumbed their nose at us and rammed it down our throats. We’ve not just lost our voice – we’re lost our rights to control our Government.
Obama’s Energy Secretary, Steven Chu smiles smugly wanting the gas prices to rise to the European level of 7 or 8 dollars per gallon. Interesting enough Chu gave himself an “A” for his stewardship of taxpayers’ money even though CBS says 12 clean energy companies are struggling after approval for 6.5 billion in federal assistance. CBS states that five of these companies have filed for bankruptcy and possibly others will be following their footsteps.
787 billion dollars of our stimulus money just disintegrated in front of our eyes, while Republicans and Democrats play political “gotcha” for 3 ½ years. All of this demonstrates the lackadaisical nonchalant, “I don’t give a s - - -t attitude of the House and Congress. It verifies that “we the people” have lost our voice!
The vetting of the 2012 Republican candidate is looking like a McCain rerun of 2008 – the Liberal News media, DEMS and old Republican establishment are selecting our candidate again. Americans are confused, angry and totally disillusioned about the obvious role our Government has assumed – they have suffered needless pain the past 3 ½ years. They have lost jobs, homes and hope.
We can regain our voice in 2012 by removing the old driftwood in the White House by keeping control of the House of Representatives and gaining a Republican majority in the Senate. Let’s restore America to one Nation under God with liberty and justice for all.

Yes Betz, Obozo and his band of thieves are bad, but the real culprits are the congess and senate that let them get away with their schemes. The very checks and balances that are required to keep this government in line are all gutless bastards seemingly cemented in places in the congress and senate. They are all to blame for our troubles.

They have brought our country to ruin and it will take decades to undo the damage if at all possible. Traitors they are and should be punished for their treason without delay. NOW is the TIME.

The real danger to our country is an in the tank media, AND a population that can tell you who is on Dancing With the Stars but cannot tell you who is on the Supreme Court. I saw a Political Science student being interviewed a several years ago, and she did not know even BASIC infomation, such as, who our Secretary of State was. (at that time it was Condi Rice). I am often shocked at just how many people are totally oblivious to what is going on. They do kind of wish the gas prices would go down though, and don't know why they are so high.

Comment by Jan on March 27, 2012 at 8:13am I follow the news and it isn't good. But most of the people I know listen to MSM and they do not know nor do they want to know. If they understood what was going on then they would have to vote differently and they don't want to vote differently. The state I am from is agricultural and even though these people are highly educated and successful they get "big" subsidies in agriculture and they don't want to vote against that. So, if they don't know, then what can it hurt to vote democrat. This is the problem with our nation the Democratic Party has bought between 45% to 50% of the voters in this country and they vote that way. What is funny about the farmers is that the Democratic Party thru Agenda 21: sustainable development wants to take away the farmland from the farmers and give it to the 3rd world countries....4 more years and they won't have to worry about subsidies. My farmer friends, when I asked them to read about Agenda 21: sustainable development, they refused to talk to me. I was very kind and respectful, they do not want to know so that when they vote for Obama in 2012 and vote for the destruction of our country they can plead ignorance.
I'm one of those conservative Tea Party types and like Russ, I am preparing the best I can for when things turn ugly, and I fear that things will turn ugly. Unfortunately most people in this great country are simply put, clueless. In talking with folks during my day, it is not unusual when I try to explain to people what a mess this country is in and what danger is present, most folks look at me like I'm either stupid or just plain crazy. I am convinced that 80% of the population don't have a clue. I tend to make excuses for them, such as they are too busy trying to raise a family, working all hours to survive or some other reason that they just don't have time to pay attention. Truth is, they either don't believe what they see or are scared to death and don't want to acknowledge what is obvious to some of us. As for me, I think that the real problem for us patriots is that the political class in WDC simple doesn't fear us. They feel secure in their positions and we are just bugs in the grass to be crushed if need be, and they are most willing to do that without hesitation. So what to do? Fear is a great motivator. Our state and federal representatives must be made to realize that if things turn ugly, it will not be Obama that we go after first, it will be them and their supreme leader will not be able to save their sorry butts. How do we impress upon these so called representatives that they are in danger? I don't know the answer, but some day it may be show and tell time.

How sad is that? Hearing arguments to see if you want to hear arguments?
