After review, I would say they are not that damaging, but his legislative pursuits are more serious. The only problem is that he does not have enough support for this legislation in Congress on either side. Thank God for elections, otherwise; he might have had the support. Here is the list of his legislative ambitions as reported Slate.com:

Require criminal background checks for all gun sales. (a.k.a. closing the "gun show loophole.")

Reinstate and strengthen the assault weapons ban.

Restore the 10-round limit on ammunition magazines.

Protect police by finishing the job of getting rid of armor-piercing bullets.

Give law enforcement additional tools to prevent and prosecute gun crime.

End the freeze on gun violence research.

Make our schools safer with more school resource officers and school counselors, safer climates, and better emergency response plans.

Help ensure that young people get the mental health treatment they need.

Ensure health insurance plans cover mental health benefits.

Finally, what is an Executive Order? It seems to be an implied power of the President under Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution as provided by the Cornell website it reads “The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America” but it doesn't really have any specific wording that speaks of Executive Orders other than the President shall have Executive Power. Nonetheless, our very first President, George Washington started this tradition which is now obviously being abused.

But in truth, an Executive Order is a directive issued to federal agencies, department heads and other federal employees by the President of the United States under his statutory or Constitutional powers. Votectocracy states on their website” Executive orders can be overturned by either of the other two branches: the Supreme Court can do so through a case that is brought in front of them and Congress can do so by passing legislation that would conflict with the order or by refusing to approve funding to enforce it. The president still has the right to veto a decision from Congress, which Congress can override as always with a two-thirds majority that would end the executive order. However, this is nearly impossible because of the super majority vote that is required as well as the fact that individual lawmakers can be left very vulnerable to political criticism. To date, only two executive orders have been overturned by other branches.” Or, the next President can revoke them entirely.

Contact your Congressmen both in the Senate and the House. Write them or call them and leave a message. Tell them you are watching them, call your relatives out-of-state and ask them to write and call as well. Congress (the Senate and House of Representatives) need to know that we are watching them. The sleeping Giant needs to wake up and pull the reins in on this administration.

What did Obama REALLY sign in front of those children and all those cameras?

Executive Orders cannot be found on the White House site.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/execut...

The media has been saying Executive ACTION and not Executive Order.

Obama actually signed a Proclamation.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2013/01/16/presidential-...

The question then was:  is a Proclamation the same as an Executive Order?  The answer is No.

"In the United States, the President's proclamation does not have the force of law, unless authorized by Congress". "Presidential proclamations are often dismissed as a practical tool for policy making because they are considered to be largely ceremonial or symbolic in nature."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_proclamation

He also signed a Memorandum. What is that? "The most commonly cited description is that prepared by the House Government Operations Committee:

Executive orders and proclamations are directives or actions by the President. When they are founded on the authority of the President derived from the Constitution or statute, they may have the force and effect of law . . . . In the narrower sense Executive orders and proclamations are written documents denoted as such . . . . Executive orders are generally directed to, and govern actions by, Government officials and agencies. They usually affect private individuals only indirectly. Proclamations in most instances affect primarily the activities of private individuals. Since the President has no power or authority over individual citizens and their rights except where he is granted such power and authority by a provision in the Constitution or by statute. The President's proclamations are not legally binding and are at best hortatory unless based on such grants of authority. The difference between Executive orders and proclamations is more one of form than of substance . . . .[1]"

The Memorandum:

The Memorandum has price tags pinned to it.  Does that not send the entire issue back to Congress?

#4 should concern everyone. The way I see it, Comrade Odumbo's handlers are far from stupid. They know that if they made an all-out assault on weapons there would be a form of (if not full blown) civil war. Make no mistakes though, they are going after ALL guns and here’s how:

-Regulations and "soft" legislation.

The no fly and "terror" lists (among others) are the list #4 if referring to. The DHS has already made vague statements about who/what qualifies to make those lists. In a nut shell they use "National Security" as the scapegoat. That means ANYONE they want from individuals to entire groups or organizations. They do profile everyone!

Comrade Obama (his handlers) will ensure that Veterans, Conservative groups ect...will be on that list. No one will know about it until you try and buy a gun (ANY GUN) and they will tell you that you don’t qualify. It will take months to weed through the red tape involved with finding out why you are on the list if you even get an answer at all. UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECKS...get the picture.

The Marxist Left Is in no hurry, they are doing it one step at a time right in front of all of us. They have the State Media fully on their side, big money, and have for many years infiltrated our education system.

This is of course just the opinion of a 22 year military veteran.
