Mr. Barack Obama:
I just saw your comments about how the Republican Party simply wants to deny health insurance coverage for thirty million Americans.
As a life long Republican, let me assure you that you could not be more wrong.
Simply put: They just are not that smart.
If you gave the Republican Party a list of thirty million names of registered Democratic voters that should be denied health care coverage, the Republican Party would screw it up (nobody cares about those who don’t vote). And I would even be willing to give a tolerance for all those active Democratic voters who died in the civil war or were never really here.
Many Americans view the GOP as some sort of powerful vanguard of American Conservatives and that vision could not be more wrong either. I was very active in the Republican Party all of my adult life until the 2010 mid-term elections when the GOP and Nevada politics ripped the rose colored glasses from before my eyes. I will forever be grateful for that kindness; but not grateful enough to fall back under the strangle hold of the GOP.
My Enlightenment of 2010 relabeled them as: The Diaper Club.
If one were to look at the so called “leadership” of the GOP we see nothing more than a group of elitists, generally indistinguishable from DNC elitists, whose primary function is to cover and pad their ample back sides. And occasionally those diapers become so full of what these morons are producing that it becomes obvious that something needs to be changed. The GOP “leadership” is almost as far out of touch with the American people and American values as are you. You and they should really get along much better since you have so much in common.
I remain a registered Republican simply because it gives me access to people that I can recruit to join We The People in our counter offensive in defense of what was once the greatest nation in the world.
