Several New Hampshire legislators declared at a press conference today that President Barack Obama is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States and that New Hampshire voters were defrauded by Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
Coos, District 1, state Rep. Larry Rappaport told the crowd he has filed a petition asking New Hampshire Attorney General Michael Delaney to investigate whether the Ballot Law Commission acted illegally by allowing Obama’s name on the New Hampshire ballot.
Rappaport said New Hampshire voters need a real and legitimate choice.
“We’re not in a position to rule on the petition, but we feel there needs to be an investigation. Consequently, we have asked the secretary of state, who referred us to the ballot law commission,” Rappaport said.
“The Ballot Law Commission held a hearing on November 18, and it refused to hear our request,” he continued. “We asked for a rehearing; it was denied. We asked for an override by the New Hampshire Supreme Court, and it refused to hear our case. We went to the Supreme Court of the United States, and that’s where it stands now.”

“For the first time in dozens of court cases challenging Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, a judge has ruled that Obama must, in order to be a candidate on the Georgia ballot for president in 2012, meet the constitutional demands for candidates for the office,” the report states.

Comment by Charles P. Smith MD on January 7, 2012 at 5:24pm I do understand the pessimism expressed by TSGT Clough. I and likely most of us feel that due to inactions by those who should have acted over months and years. Yet, I take hope from this. As I read all of it to the best of my ability, serious people can and should work through nuances and wordings and come back to the exact intention of the Contitution. A real president cannot be allowed to start out with less than full loyalty. That would be the least we could demand. Obama did not begin life that way. Worse, he studiously worked his way to destructive intention.
Comment by Ellen Purcell on January 7, 2012 at 2:48pm A close reading of the 1875 Supremes' ruling does not state beyond a doubt that the child's (singluar) TWO PARENTS must be citizens. It says only that it applies to children (plural) whose parents (plural) are citizens (plural). There in, my friends, lies our problem as it can easily be read to be a general statement about children and parents rather than a specific child and his 2 parents...

Clough Jr., USAR, R on January 7, 2012 at 11:29am I wish them all the luck inb the world proving this, but I am afraid that Obama & Company have demonstrated,that their control of America that proving he is not eligable will never happen. All of Congres Must get involved and considering the current Congress as Well as the Supreme Court they will not take any action I'm very pesimistic about this considering these first 3 years in the many attempts that have failed.
