NARAL is not about Rights

It is hypocritical to use the phrase “National Abortion and Reproduction Rights Action League.” NARAL doesn’t deal with reproductive rights but with killing babies. NARAL is an arbiter of death not life. Reproductive Rights sounds positive and humane which is not the case.

I remember when I was seventeen my girlfriend thought I had knocked her up. I was in no way ready to become a father. She agreed that she’d have an abortion if she was pregnant. She wasn’t. But convenience called and we would have gone through the abortion (in those days it was illegal) rather than complicate our lives.

Does that make me a proud man who is in favor of promoting “Reproductive Rights?” Gee, phrasing it like that sounds like a humane act rather than what it is--murder. Should I boast about my support of abortion? Should I be proud of the reprehensible? No, I was a sniveling, irresponsible kid. I wasn’t a saint. I was an adolescent who didn’t want to take responsibility.

Abortion would have made me an accomplice to a murder. And I would have been a killer. Not to the degree of killing a full grown human being but a killer nevertheless. I would not have boasted about my negative deed or claimed that I was supporting women’s right to control their own bodies even if it involved murder. At least I’d take negative credit for it. I wouldn’t sugar coat it.

I am what I am. Why hide it beneath political correctness or phony language like “Reproductive Rights?” Why take credit for being a “Rights Action” leader when you are ripping a baby out of a woman’s loins? Why ride around like Joan of Arc when you are Lady Macbeth?

Take discredit where discredit is due. Stop talking about the reproductive right to kill as if abortions were emblems of bold righteous courage.

NARAL is not about rights. It’s about taking away the rights of a newborn to be born. Then NARAL pats itself on the back as being a rights giver instead of a life taker.

Clinton was impeached not for what he did with Monica Lewinsky but for lying. It’s time NARAL and the pro-abortion crowd stopped lying. They are not seeking moral rights. They are doing what’s convenient. I see the consequences of their acts. I am one of the almost-guilty. But, at least, I wouldn’t boast about a bad act, pretending I am a saint seeking “Reproductive Rights.”

Perhaps if the NARAL toadies faced up to their guilt instead of boasting about their rights to abortion, fewer people would go through with them. Perhaps if liberals stopped taking credit for good deeds when their acts were horrendous, we’d see the world through binoculars, not a glass darkly.

Liberals, not wanting a tragedy to go to waste, went after guns and gun-owners with a vengeance. This is the epitome of hypocrisy. Those same liberals applauds the murder of 55,000,000 unborn babies as the incidental, justifiable result of women exercising their right to control their own bodies. HYPOCRISY!

Someone proven innocent as the babies are to be murdered and the ones that have proven their hatred of another's life is innocent in their eyes. Unfathomable !!

As teenagers, we all think we've got life all figured out and the adults just don't understand, just ask our children (and reflect back on your own teen years). But then, hopefully, we grow up and as we grow we realize that we didn't know NEARLY as much as a teenager as we thought we did at the time. The problem is that too many people refuse to grow up (perpetual Peter Pans?). They want life to be always idyllic and refuse to accept reality. We've all done things as children that we regret now that we're adults (if I knew then what I know now), but at least we've grown up and, hopefully, continue to gain wisdom. The NARAL folks are like children (Sandra Fluke?), they want life to be one happy event after another and to be able to do what they want to do when they want to do it. But then that darned reality gets in the way and instead of dealing with it and accepting responsibility for their actions, they blame it all on something or someone else. If you're going to have sex, no matter what precautions you take, you run the risk of parenthood. Instead of accepting responsibility for one's actions, they blame it on the baby and impose the death sentence on it for no other reason than it exists. I wonder how many of these same people are against the death penalty for convicted murders.

God can get through to them one way or the other. And the ones who refuse to hear, He can drop a bomb on, ala Sodom and Gomorrah. That's what it's going to take, and unfortunately we will suffer right along with them.

P.S. No, I am not advocating human violence. Am talking about what God might do.

I would note that "Planned Parenthood" is also a complete misdirection!

Think about it: Parenthood is not planned, scheduled. It happens when the stork drops off a package!

Non - parenthood is precisely scheduled. Abortions happen just when they are scheduled to happen.

But you had better make the world a more convenient place for everyone else to live in or you are a racist, bigot, misogynist, or just a reprehensible person. Obamacare is and will continue to be the Trojan Horse that the liberals intended it to be. But like all behemoth government programs, they sold it as a "humanitarian". They're full of themselves. Take away a person's individuality and you lose the person. What you get is a cry baby kid who wants what he wants when he wants it. Yes, you get a baby who can't take care of himself or herself and expect you to do it for them. On a larger scale, you produce an entitlement society.
