Since before the official beginning of the last presidential campaign, Mr. Obama seems to be enamored with the term “Middle Class”. I have often wondered just what his definition of “Middle Class” might be.

I have lived in several countries and many states of this country and at times I felt like I was just barely qualified as (lower) “middle class” with an income around one hundred thousand dollars a year and at other times I felt like I was at the high end of the middle class and almost into the upper class when making half that much.

So I decided to look up the dictionary definition of the term “middle class”.

I found two definitions:

1.  a class of people intermediate between the classes of higher and lower social rank or standing; the social, economic, cultural class, having approximately average status, income, education, tastes, and the like.

2.  the class traditionally intermediate between the aristocratic class and the laboring class.

The first definition is a definition that would be near and dear to the hearts of academians and politicians. It is a definition full of generalities and ambiguities like “higher and lower” and “approximately average”. That definitions provides unbound opportunities for intellectually banal banter. And it provides endless grist for the class warfare mill that the Obama administration never allows to rest.

The second definition is truly the definition that Mr. Obama has in his mind while he struts and strokes his mindless fawning followers - the class of people between the aristocratic class and the laboring class.

Put in slightly different but equally applicable terms:

Middle Class: The class of people caught between a hard place and a rock.

In Mr. Obama’s vision he keeps talking about “growing the middle class”; i.e. growing the number of people caught between the hard scrabble hand to mouth existence and the mill stone of the big government hung around their necks grinding them down and robbing them of the God Given Rights of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness - and any and all hope for anything better for their offspring.

King Obama and his elitist robber barons share a vision in which every subject of the Royal House works exclusively to fund their vision of an idealogical nirvana - not unlike Karl Mark, Joseph Stalin, Adolph Hitler, Mao Zedong, and other such visionaries.

Americans were once viewed as a courageous and cockily self assured people.

Now Americans are viewed as a frightened, cowering bunch of sheep who are more concerned about losing their free cell phones than they are about losing the freedoms they once took for granted; the freedoms that are being eroded daily by the relentless malevolent assault by King Obama and his minions of darkness bent on snuffing out the light of freedom that once burned so brightly.

On every possible occasion, King Obama raises the specter of removing the heroin needle of government support for the old, the weak, and the Veterans who have given so much to defend an ideal that is sliding down the sewer pipe into the dark cesspool of history.

Never once does he suggest that we trim the billions upon billions in foreign aide that we dump into countries that are avowed enemies of our way of life and our freedoms.

Never once does he suggest that we shut down any of the nearly one hundred federal “training programs” whose only documented function and results is the hiring of more government employees.

The Democratic Party / Socialists / Progressives run a high intensity propaganda and public relations machine twenty four hours a day seven days a week.

The Republican / Conservative / Tea Party community runs a guppy school twenty four hours a day seven days a week. For those not familiar with the habits of guppies, they are the fish whose preferred diet is the eating of their own young.

The GOP attacks and consumes any candidate or effort not in strict accordance with the dictates of their Crony Capitalists Good Old Boy’s club.

The administration calls the Tea Party “Domestic Terrorists” and under fearless leadership of Karl Rove the Republican Elitists  pursue the relentless attack on the Tea Party at every opportunity.

The Tea Party struggles for leadership, vision, and focus and spends most of its time jockeying for meaningless positions of temporary power in their local communities.

United We Stand.

Divided We Fall.

I have in the past and will continue to promote The Four Pillars of Freedom until such time as anyone can provide a better starting point, a more solid foundation upon which We The People can find the courage and selfless commitment to unite as a common people and once again stand together to restore our freedoms and our Constitution by whatever means necessary.

So it has been in the past and so it shall be forever in the future.

Darwin Rockantansky:

I think that the Progressive Caucus forced Blue Dog Democrats out of the Democrat Party and they (the Blue Dogs) are forcing conservatives out of the Republican Party. Problematic to the new "Democrat-Lite" Republican Party is that large majorities of Democrats hate the Republican "brand" far more than the ideology of the average Constitution Conservative.

But the biggest problem this country faces is EDUCATION... or the lack thereof.

For example:

Most people have no idea what quantitative easing is or what it's doing to their power to purchase everyday household items and groceries. However, a first grader can understand that the more times you slice a cake, the smaller the pieces are. If the value of the U.S. dollar were the cake and the slices represented portions of the value of the dollar then the U.S. would be holding pieces of cake the size of a sub-atomic particle.

or

That State and Local governments already hold the power to tax their citizens for nearly any social program imaginable. Not only that, but State and Local governments  are in a much better position to identify fraud and see to the needs of their own communities than the Federal government. Federal government exists primarily to provide a common defense for the nation and ensure the Constitutional rights of all Americans. Yet, here we are arguing between federally funded social programs and military funding.

*sigh*

Gary Hall:

I concur!

I have long lectured about the reality that there are truly only two parties in this country: The Elitists in Washington and We The People.

I am endlessly confounded as to how a group of people can claim to want smaller government and less government intrusion in our lives but insist that the government be involved in the most personal matters one can immagine.

I have often wondered if it was not the Progressives who introduced certain topics into our discussions just to keep us at each others' throats; too busy with our bickering to notice that we are losing the country we love.

I know with some degree of certainty that the organizations you mentioned are more than willing to work with organizations like the Tea Party and any other organization that is committed to achieving results.

They look to the Tea Party to put boots on the ground and that seems to be a significant challenge

I have attended numerous "rallies" and "demonstrations" where the turnout was a mere handful of people.

And as often as not, more of the fringe turn out than does the main-line Tea Party people.

Sun Tzu tells us to fight the battles we can win.

Instead we chose to fight amongst ourselves in battles that can never be won or lost and only serve to keep us distracted from the goals that we claim to hold so dear.

Unite or die. It is that simple.

Identify, promote, and support true conservative candidates and to blazes with the GOP and local power structures.

Plant our own people inside the enemy camp to propagate mis-information, confusion and mayhem while sourcing useful information to our cause.

This a war of survival for a once great nation; not a post season exhibition game.

According to a 1999 study, 50% of Americans over the age of 15 were "incompetent" re critical thinking skills (among others). If this is accurate, why would we be surprised that we are a nation in decline. We seem to be increasingly disparate in numerous areas beyond the political: income, education and intelligence.

Liberalism is an addictive drug. By pushing their version of "personal rights"it is easy to get the federally educated to sample it's wonders. Then like any other drug, it requires more and more to achieve that feel good high. Very few will kick the habit until it has destroyed them and all those around them. The only cure is to educate them  before they get into a drug induced utopia, impossible to see out of. With it openly advertised (with no opposition allowed) on network T.V. our young people think it is the in thing, just like McDonald's. In my opinion the voting age should be 21 or 3 years out of school, whichever is last. I was against the 18 year old vote when I was 18 and still am. Anyone without real life experience has no right to make decisions effecting everyone's life.

As for making up a Tea Party party, leadership of both major parties have been pushing for that since we first started. Once they have an organized leadership they can slander and lie to destroy the whole group. Our strength is in the fact our enemies have no real target to publicize the evils thereof. I see the Tea Party as political Guerrillas, not tied too tightly to any group or party name. but wielding its power over all.

This is what Obama wanted, to cripple America with his idea of a "level playing field".  I am not surprised.  We used to be middle class but now are the working poor, and my job will be gone soon as it is.  Then no income for my family of five, our jobs have disappeared.  Nice.

Dangling trinkets, and toys and "goodies" in front of the ignorant, promising anything in the world., telling them everything is going great, using the 24/7 main stream media to further the message, these are brillant tools of manipulation, and people of little education, or the Liberal education provided now by our Colleges, will believe anything.  They are clueless, lulled into the addicition for things, that make them feel good, and to avoid facing reality.  They don't want to hear about reality, it might disturb them. It would not be fun.
