Latte Liberals have no sense of discretion and usually forget what they’re arguing about soon after another latte liberal garners their attention to judge newer, more posh causes (polygamy, xenophobia, wealth distribution for everyone else, how down-to earth they all really are) to be more worthy.

The friendly visual of a “Latte Liberal” would be a financially comfortable person who claims to support liberal causes because they have nothing better to do, but then acts completely different. They want to be a part of fashionable causes so they sit around and drink designer coffee while lamenting the plight of the poor.
These very same liberals disapprove of school vouchers for children in poorly run urban schools yet take their own children to private schools thereby avoiding the problems of public schools and it’s nasty environment full of bullies, drugs, poverty and underachievement scores.
They protest the war in Iraq, yet suport the campaign for an end to the Chinese occupation of Tibet and for the Tibetan’s fundamental rights to be respected! Oh Really…Fundamental Rights as human beings be respected? Why for them and not for their own countrymen? To even think of such a battle that would be bloodier than all the others should it start up, makes me shiver. No doubt they would want the U.S. to fight that good fight.
These ego maniacs are against freedom for everyone in our own nation except themselves. They need the freedom to move, mingle and collaborate with bureaucrats.
They need to be held in high esteem and invited to important functions with politicians, be guest speakers on liberal media stations, run for a political office, rub elbows with movie directors and liberal actors. Be a part of billionaire foundation fund raisers. Be engaged with other liberal intellects who will notice them for the superior individual they are in their fantasy world.
Their own personal and career needs far outweigh the need to fight for individual freedom for the common man woman and child who actually make America great and yet struggle economically to keep their businesses afloat or make ends meet in these tumultuous times.
Their silly awards or honorary degrees from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or Bimbo United from the Republic of ragweed makes their reason for existence supreme. Oh…and then, there will be a book and a signing engagement. But where poor egocentric liberal? Amazon.com just sells books! Borders is closing shop. Who will engage your selfish existence or perspective of yourself?
Several names come to mind when I think of these self-centered, oh so benevolent people of other peoples freedom’s and money. Michael Moore, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, Chris Matthews, katie Couric, most actors, and film makers. Charles Rangle, Jessie Jackson, Jeremiah Wright and Al Sharpton, the supreme users and deceivers of people who, if they truly cared they would be promoting the Constitution of these great United States. Many, many more high profile (they will love this prefix label) come to mind, but my main question is….How would you Latte Liberals like your greed served? With or without cream? How about some extra foam?
