It IS the Economy, and we are NOT Stupid!

Vessenes.  Each week we send an email with updates on current events and what has happened on the topic of capitalism and economic freedom.
 
Economic Growth and Recovery?
 
The latest economic growth numbers won’t be what Obama builds his campaign on when the facts show the economy only grew at an annual rate of 1.5% in the second quarter of 2012, down from 2% in the first quarter.[1]
 
We make many decisions in life, like the color to paint a room, based on emotions.  We should make more critical decisions, like electing a President, based on the facts.  The economic facts are stark when looking at the Obama record; a record to run FROM not on:

• 41 consecutive months with unemployment above 8%,[2] and the under-employment number is at 14.9%.[3]  This is the longest consecutive period with unemployment above 8% since records began in 1948.[4]
• Over 1,100 days without a Federal budget.
• National debt, which is now over $15 trillion, was increased by Obama more than was all 8 years of the George W. Bush presidency.[5]
• The $800 billion of Obama Stimulus money has failed to bring back the economy, unless, you are one of the government “cronies” like Solyndra that received stimulus money and failed.
• There have been national security leaks regarding the U.S. involvement in cyber attacks on Iran. Even Dianne Feinstein (D) said, “the White House has to understand that some of this is coming from their ranks.”[6]  This threat puts the lives of Americans and our allies in danger and leaves our homeland security threatened.
• Despite having enough available oil, natural gas, clean coal technologies, and using the state of North Dakota as an example, Obama continues to refuse pursuing energy autonomy for America.  Now Canada, one of our closest oil trading partners, may decide to shift to China rather than to America, as an oil and natural gas partner.[7]

 
Obama will refuse to run on this record. Who would?!  Instead he has created warfare against those who are successfully building businesses without government assistance, and in spite of government’s regulatory interference.
 
Obama’s behavior and hatred of success “without government” is evident and should be frightening to anyone who sees America as a land of opportunity.  Why are people dying to immigrate legally to America?  America has been the land of opportunity and the land of freedom from the heavy hand of an oppressive government.  This is what Obama means when he says CHANGE; change our freedoms and control our opportunities thru the government.
