It is past halftime in America.  If this was a football analogy, we are down to our last play. Unfortunately, it is not a game where the teams go home and come back to play another day. In this game, it is winner take all: our freedom, our country and our children's future.

If Obama wins this election, we know that the "game" is over. And this realization has lead us to the false premise that we must vote for whoever is running against him. This nameless candidate will be the savior of our country. Really? Is this what America has come to? Isn't this the rational that gave Germany Hitler, Italy Mussolini and China Mao?

It is now the time to assess what each individual will do for their children's future. Freedom is the only right that we MUSTwithout condition give them. Will America put their future in the hands of a political party or the nameless "strongman" outlined in "The Road to Serfdom"? Will we continue to watch as our resources are redistributed to the government and to Europe through illegal transfers from the Federal Reserve to the European Central Bank ($700 billion since December 1, 2011).

It is time to understand that sacrificing fortunes and lives to establish a country was not the point of the revolution. The point of our founding fathers was to show that their sacred honor mandated without condition the establishment of a free country comprised of separate state republics.

Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution of the United States:

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

As the government is now clear on its intention to replace religion with dependence on the state, what does your sacred honor require of you?

Hey everyone. Sarah Palin needs everyone's help. Please spread the word. FOX News is conducting a poll who should be the Republican Nominee if there is a constested convention. Sarah is lead right now by a good margin but we need to get her to 50%+. I know I can count on y'all. Thank you and God Bless.

What will it take for Americans to understand how perilously close we are to permanently losing our country and way of life?
As a patriotic American who believes in the rights bestowed from our Creator and enumerated by our Constitution and Bill of Rights, I am calling on all men to take a stand and hold our elected officials accountable for their direct assault on our Constitution or their complicity in the same.
The parallels between Nazi Germany under Hitler to present day America are frighteningly real, yet few in America appear to be concerned.

@David DeGerolamo

All the fancy philosophy ala The Road To Serfdom is well and good in "normal" times, but we are not in "normal" times. In your own words, "...we are down to our last play." In my opinion, this is the most important election in our history. If we fail to oust Odumbo, the "game" will be over. We MUST band together behind WHOEVER the Republican nominee is, to assure that there will be an election in 2016. Anyone who cannot grasp the seriousness of our situation and who is unable to cast their vote for "WHOEVER" in November, will have to remorsefully say "I helped bring America down" if Odumbo wins.

If, somehow, we are able to save the day and (to continue the football metaphor) our "hail mary pass is completed", then 2016 will be much closer to "normal" times and we can afford to stand on principles, but not this election.

@Doug Nicholson

Voting for one candidate whose platform is to remove the other candidate is the basis of The Road to Serfdom. People who cast their vote for the Republican candidate because of the Anyone But Obama philosophy is throwing their vote away. If our country's future is based on removing Obama from office, then I submit that the country's future is already gone. If no one will stand up and ask Republican candidates what they will do when elected, will we get another Hitler, Mussolini, Mao or Obama?

Remember my article posted one month ago?

How many of these questions were answered? Of course if there are fewer (or no) debates, these questions do not have to be asked. Why do I have this opinion? Because I read and understand history.

"...the false premise that we must vote for whoever is running against him." Why is that a false premise if, as you say, "If Obama wins this election, we know that the "game" is over."? (And I agree that is correct). To keep Odumbo from winning another 4 years, we have no choice but to vote for "whoever is running against him." Anyone voting for someone other than the Republican nominee is not only throwing away their vote, but they are making victory easier for the Liar-In-Chief.

Take a glass of water. It represents all the wealth and freedom in America. Pour 5% into an equal sized glass which represents the government. The government needs some authority and money from the people to run things and defend us. For the past 200+ years the government has been making us pour more and more of our wealth and freedom into their glassubtil it's around 30%.. The result? They are more powerful and rich and Americans are less wealthy and less free. Its that simple. Their greed and lust for power knows no bounderies. The time to reverse that trend passed decades ago.

Get up on your hind legs and fight for your country folks, or the government will gladly take it from you.

'Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases:
If it moves, tax it.
If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving,
subsidize it'

@Joy Hall,....I must disagree with your..... Sarah Palin is running for President. Sarah Palin is just not running for President in the conventional but flawed way of the past.

Those of us that understand the importance of electing a WeThePeople for President rather than a Republican or Democrat or whatever understand that, at this time, there is no better choice for President than Sarah Palin. It is why we are all praying for a brokered convention. A brokered convention (August) is when we must demand Sarah Palin, we must draft Sarah Palin, we must support Sarah Palin, we must elect Sarah Palin and we must support Sarah Palin.

If we do not elect a WeThePeople President, if we continue to elect a Liberal President - also known as a Moderate President - the very foundation on which made America the Grestest Nation on Earth, America will continue decline.

We must elect Sarah Palin. We must stop voting for the lesser of two evils just because it is what the Republican and Democratic elitest want us to do.
