A few people have asked why I haven't blogged here in awhile.
Well part of it is, I feel like I'm just "preachin' to the choir" here.
And the second reason I'm discouraged is that, as much as so many of you seem to appreciate my posts, nothing seems to change with the dismal situation we're all facing - the rapid Progressive Socialist destruction of our economy, our standard of living, our nation and our freedoms.
I guess I'm fed up with blogging my outrage, signing petitions, all of it.
The fact is that the Progressive Socialists don't care what we think. They don't care about our outrage, as scandal after scandal keeps getting exposed. They are 100% Shameless and bent on taking down the United States of America.
They don't care about our petitions. They consider the Constitution a mere inconvenience, if even that anymore, passing millions of laws and regulations that violate it, and knowing that we can never even hope to get them all repealed as unconstitutional.
They want to collapse and globalize the United States, and are succeeding at a record pace. Only the hopelessly naïve or truly evil among us, would deny this anymore. It's the culmination of at least 100 years of the advancing of Progressive Socialism that started even before Teddy Roosevelt pushed it.
I keep hearing optimistic opinions from my fellow Objectivists, that the world is ready, more than ever, for individual rights and a global freedom movement, but I just don't see that. It appears to me that Glenn Beck has been right about this for years, that the Progressive Socialists, Communists and Islamists are allying in an attempt to take over the world, and they're succeeding.
I say this after seeing John McCain, who I now consider a Progressive Republicrat, meeting with Al Qaeda types, probably discussing plans to get us into a war in Syria that we have absolutely no business being involved in, and which would only further weaken this nation! Where are the anti-war protesters now?!
And as if that wasn't bad enough, out-of-control governments all over the world are working on causing a global economic collapse. We could actually avoid that, here in the U.S., but it would require taking back control of our own governments ( from Federal, to the states and local ) in time to do the right things and prevent it. Otherwise, as Peter Schiff predicts, 70% of all Americans are set to lose everything they own.
That's staggering, how would we survive as a nation?! The answer is, we wouldn't, and the perpetrators are planning it that way!
It would require finding representatives that, for once, cared more about the survival of our liberty and our nation itself, than about popularity, money, power and getting re-elected. There are a few in office now - Rand Paul and a handful of others, but I just don't see it happening.
So I'm pretty burned out on feeling outrage, protesting, and petitions that they don't care a thing about.
As July 4th approaches again, I keep thinking of these words:

So I keep wondering whatever happened to the “Oath Keepers”, and if our system of having to vote talking head tyrants and despots out of office, only to elect different talking head tyrants and despots, has become little more than a “national suicide pact”?

But no one else seems to know what else to do, in fact even advocating more than that is a “crime”, so it appears that we really have developed the laws and Constitution of this nation into a “national suicide pact”, which is why the Progressive Socialists are laughing at us, and we're now faced with the solely bad choices of either continuing with this or breaking the laws, none of which choices are acceptable to most of us.
Over the last couple of years, forgive me but I've actually started thinking favorably, for the first time in my life, of the idea of a military coup by these “Oath Keepers”, to take back the nation from the tyrants and save it, economically and politically as a constitutional nation. But it remains one of those solely bad choices, I suppose, so everyone is afraid of it.
I imagine a lot of us feel the same ways about these things and just don't know what to do anymore, but I just don't feel like spending much of the rest of my life in vain attempts to change things with words or petitions, when I know that the tyrants just don't care and are laughing at us and continuing to take this nation down the road to ruin and destruction.
