We're truly witnessing political history happen before our very eyes. Historically, a Democratic President running for re-election would attempt to walk a fine line, placating his base on the left while attempting somewhat to appear capitalistic to the nation's right and center. Slick Willie was a master of the art and it worked for him. The logic, from a Democrats point-of-view, was to get as much of the leftwing base to vote as possible while spintering off a portion of independents and conservatives in order to achieve a winning margin. Historically, Democrats have always had to admit that national elections could not be won with support only coming from the left.

President Barrack Obama is a radical departure from that approach and appears to have a game plan to win with nearly all of his support coming from the left. How is this possible when poll after poll indicate that barely 20% of the nation's population admit to being liberal? Quite simply, the administration, using hard-earned tax-payer dollars as well as billions in borrowed money, is on a binge to "buy" liberals. By increasing the number of Americans on food stamps, social security disability, and lengthy unemployment compensation, Obama has added to the number of citizens on the public dole tremendously.

Just when it seemed the Obama administration couldn't do anything more to drive the country toward socialism, we now learn that the regime has basically removed the work requirement attached to welfare, reversing a landmark law passed in 1996 in a bi-partisan effort between the Gingrich led House of Representitives and the Clinton White House. Tax payers all over the country are now or will be shocked by such a blatant "in-your-face" act, never believing any President, regardless of party, would pull such a stunt.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the Obama regime could care less what tax payers think or even how they vote. Their plan is to increase rapidly the number of Americans dependent on government and convince them their opponents, if elected, will shut off the spicket. The GOP house is tauting a 16 billion dollar cut in the food stamp budget (I'll admit that before now I didn't know the entire Food Stamp budget was that huge). Look for the Obama administration and the Dems in the Senate to scream like stuck pigs over this, the old tried and true "GOP taking food out of children's mouths" and "GOP wanting Grandma to eat dog food" BS.

The Obama regime, which cut its' teeth on the corrupt politics of Chicago, has as its' biggest challenge just getting all these free-loaders to get out and vote, not an easy task as these are the type of people who won't take the initiative to go vote any more than the most of them won't go out and seek work. The fact that this direction toward socialism is rapidly sending the nation into economic doom matters little to Obama and his marxist followers. After all, the excrement won't likely hit the fan before he leaves office and he has shown little concern for the nation's overall financial health anyway. There will still be funding for his golf outings and his wife's extravagant vacation junkettes.

This election is about much more than whether we have Obama or Romney. Americans must make a decision about what kind of country America will be, a capitalistic free enterprise nation or a socialist country. It's going to be a contest at the ballot box between the makers and the takers, between those who pay taxes and those who don't. Sadly, some of the tax-payers will be misguided enough to actually vote for socialism, a number that when added to a liberal coalition of feminists, environmentalists, public unionists, welfare/food stamp recipients, and fraudulent illegals, may give Obama the numbers he needs to win.

How any tax payer, christian, and/or patriot could possibly vote for the Democratic Party is just shocking to me. We had best stop arguing among ourselves about whether Romney is conservative enough and pull together to defeat this regime. Otherwise, we may not have the liberty in the near future to argue at all. From www.jamesherbertharrison.com/blog

To John's comment:

John, I'm married to a former soviet citizen and agree with what you say. I didn't mean to imply that ALL people on the public dole like it, but we must admit, like panning on a street corner, collecting welfare doesn't have the stigma as in years past and more and more people accept it as a way of life. Whatever the munbers are of those who like being on it or don't doesn't negate the fact that way too many are on it and the more that are on it the better Obama and his regime like it.

Billy, you are right on this. The case in Florida made the point that no infraction has occurred, and eligibility does not come into play until the nomination has occurred. We'll have to use that assertion to the max. How do we file the complaints? How can it be done most effectively?

As soon as the DEMS officially nominate Obama to each state, we need to act.

File Complaints in all states on his lieing, cheating, fraud, perjury, and eligibility.  (SSN, and Selective Service documents are available on-line in Federal Case Files.  Find the reference, pull up the case, and use the attachments.  They are official FEDERAL documents.)

Hill the State SOE's with PAPERWORK, until they squeel like pigs.

It is true that half of the electorate rationally benefits (temporarily, as we know but they don't) from "Obama's stash." All government workers, all welfare recipients, all crony socialists, all unionized extortionists, all illegal aliens, and many others are part of this coalition. Obama may win the election. If he does, the only way to restore our civilization may be for the responsible minority to rebel. Just short of that, however, is a legal method that, God helping, may do the job. If it fails, it will at least set us up for victory in the civil war that will follow. http://constitutionaloversightposse.org/index.html.

David the information you're offering about single persons needs to be backed up with some real facts - please give us some more information. You are talking entirely about yourself - give us some ammo here...

Something that may come to haunt the GOP, is how badly both Bush administrations treated single people.  Their real intent was to help families, but in doing so they drove up housing prices and drove down wages, which two income families could adapt to, but single people found themselves working two or three jobs, just to put a roof over their head.  Both Clinton and Obama have done a better job of creating better paying jobs, that pay enough for a single person to pay the rent without having to work a second job or 20 hrs of overtime.  I've found my best paying jobs during the Reagan, Clinton and Obama years and it has gotten my attention.  Both Bushes were economic disasters.  Romney needs to make the case he can he can do at least as well as Reagan.  If he doesn't, he may lose.  There's alot of single people that vote.

James, there is one major point on which I disagree with your thesis.  While he has increased the number of citizens who are on the dole, there is still a stigma attached to that.  People who are on food stamps are not all happy about it.  Of those new Americans on this program, how many feel genuinely rotten with the prospect of not being able to support their families any longer.  People who lived under the Soviet system, and were completely kept as wards of the state, have a real hatred for Socialism.  I have a few friends that were former Soviet citizens, and they are more vocal about their distaste for Barack Obama than anyone I know.

Read Dale Carnegie's book some time.  Feeling necessary is as basic a human need as breathing or eating.  People on the dole, more often than not, would rather be working.  That is the faith that I have in my fellow human being.

Unless insane...everyone will do what they believe is in their own best interests, or that of their family.  The task at hand for conservatives is to educate, or at least convince the average welfare recipient that if they continue to support this loser of a president and the rest of the socialists...that the "free lunch" wagon is going to loose it wheels and never come around again...that is the challenge...are you up for it?
