For one of the media shows about two years ago that included an opportunity for me to discuss Gore's fraud (among other subjects), I facetiously boasted "New Source of Carbon Dioxide Discovered! The source results in 83 BILLION metric Tonnes of Carbon released EACH day into the atmosphere! What shall we DO? TAX it!? Exterminate it!?"
The source, you might have guessed by now is human breath, simply the human lung capacity (assuming best-case, humans at rest) exhaling, multiplied by the number of breaths each day, multiplied by the number of humans on the planet.

Good show Alan! You discussed a number of groups and individuals - - so, see below.
They are the epitome of the purveyors of Male Bovine Scatology. The groups and individuals data or theorizing that you mention in your article are completely irrelevant to any factual scientific study or discussion. I would like to make some comments that come from Technical perspectives involved in exploration for commercial hydrocarbons. We have excellent data back in time +/- 12,000 years which is not usable for exploration. There is real good data back – say 65,000,000 years and this is just barely getting into interesting hydrocarbon times. Of prime interest we really look at the times from 100,000,000 to 400,000,000 years ago when plants and animals were flourishing. During these times we have extracted tremendous volumes of data. To me, back beyond 375,000,000 years the data is sketchy but we have some data points that were derived with extreme precision, however, gaps of a million years or a hundred million years do exist. For some facts see below.
Dr. Scotese and Dr. Gerhard did excellent scientific data accumulation. http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/PageMill_Images/image277.gif
Anthropogenic warming is a joke - - 0.28% is really nothing! http://www.searchanddiscovery.com/documents/2007/07005gerhard/images/04.htm
Now for something else of interest – The most important nutrient for plants is CO2 and Di-Hydrogen Mon-Oxide. Two very important chemicals.

Can anyone name a human or animal food that is not a carbon compound. Yes, animal meat is also a carbon compound!
Without Green House Gasses indications are there would be a very rapid temperature drop. I would predict that our earth temperature would be -40°F in 24 hours. Yes, that is 40 degrees below Zero Centigrade or Fahrenheit! The most important GH gas is water vapor which is responsible for maintaining 95% of our global temperature keeping us from freezing to death. Ocean Biologic, Volcanic, decaying vegetation and animal activity, etc., amounts to less than 5% of the very necessary and important GH warming.
Our Sun is about 12 to14 Billion years old and it has used (burned up) about half of the (its) fuel that keeps us warm and keeps it “shining”!
CO2 is a heavy gas and tends to fall or settle to ground level rather than rising to the +/- stratosphere. Atmospheric CO2 is scrubbed from the air and is then transferred to vegetation making photosynthesis possible. rainforests require tremendous amounts of CO2 to grow or in actuality - to survive.
Sufficient carbon is not available to be absorbed by plants from the soil – it is primarily provided by CO2 absorbed from rain / irrigation water. For optimum plant growth it appears to require +/- 1200 ppm and now days our atmosphere contains about 250 and 300 ppm. Some recent papers written by the ChiComs indicates that, for tomatoes, CO2 in the range of 1200 ppm is optimum. The Handbook of Horticulture indicates that cannabis production is best with atmosphere CO2 of about 1200 ppm - Marijuana grown in Hot Houses in Europe are fed additional CO2 to maintain an atmospheric level of 1200 ppm which is fed by and through the mist spray on to the plants.
Yes, we are now in a period of Global Cooling and have been for 60 or so million years with a few warming spasms.

I have a significant compilation of research reports if you're interested. I think you can contact me through my profile, and if you send your e/mail address, I'll send them to you.
Comment by Mark Edward Combs on June 1, 2011 at 12:23pm It would have easier to believe Global Cooling.

Comment by Kelvin Gardner on May 31, 2011 at 11:20pm A good rule of thumb is.
Never trust the 'science' of of anyone who's solution is bigger government, are more taxes.
Comment by Gail Cohen on May 31, 2011 at 10:57pm "It's all about money"! The Universities and scientist, wearing their degrees on their sleeves to impress the public of their all knowing abilities, when in fact they are either educated morons or crooks.
Crooks because they are only after our hard money to finance their "chicken little" imitations on global warming.
If these scientist were true researchers they would have found out as I have that our global climate has been cycling since the "big bang".
I can't help thinking our congress is part of the scam too. The congress can allocate our tax dollars to these shysters and in return get the Universities to provide more "false evidence" which the liberal news media is more than happy to report to further "brainwash" the public so there will be a public support for the
"cap and trade" bill which will scam billions more dollars from us for the government and the researchers.
So I say they are either morons or crooks. What's your take?
Comment by Wordwaryor on May 31, 2011 at 1:02pm I watched a very entertaining and informative video by Real Climate scientists who refute the IPCC and Al Gore version of man made Global Warming........ The link here has several videos ...... the last one down on the page is the longest and the best documentary AGAINST man made global warming I have personally ever seen. It is about 1 hour and 15 minutes long ...... and Well Worth watching. They are all worth watching ... but the last one is the best.
Here's the link. http://www.the912project.us/forum/topics/co2-science-seeing-is
