For the fourth year the East Bay Patriots/Grassroots Groups for Liberty participated in the Bristol 4th of July Parade riding our signature float, "The Beaver", a replica of one of the ships in the original Boston Tea Party. Now is the time, as it was then, to rally and only support political candidates who believe and support the Constitution, who are fiscally conservative, and who represent our core values. We envision a return to a government by the people and for the people.
Groups include East Bay Patriots, East Bay Four, Ocean State Tea Party in Action (OSTPA), We the People, Rhode Island Voter Coalition (RIVC), Rhode Islanders for Illegal Law Enforcement (RIILE), Oathkeepers, Tenth Amendment Center, and Steven Hopkins Center for Civil Rights.
Crowd was estimated at 125,000 viewers and it was a glorious day - for the parade, for the viewers, for the participants, and for celebrating the Independence of our Great Nation!
ABC-6 did a great job of commenting on the parade and certainly the television coverage increased exposure for our message!
Next year will be our FIFTH year in the parade and we are all hoping that we have lots to celebrate!!
Thanks to all who participated and to the enthusiastic crowd that cheered us on!

Comment by Jeff Dover on July 6, 2012 at 10:25am Great work! I can still smell the clambakes from when I was kid watching that parade, which I believe at the time was the largest in the country!
