Work From Home

Do they REALLY think that if a woman is attacked, having a gun won't help her?

Academic Photographic Study

Don't try this at home. The photographer is in her 60's, has been doing photography since the age of 12, and is a trained shooter.

The photographer took this shot safely. Notice her finger is clearly off the trigger, and though the camera and light were in front of the pistol, she remained behind it at all times.

The pistol is a Springfield XD-45 ACP 4” service model, with 14 rounds of JHP ( jacketed hollow points ), one of which is showing at the inside base of the barrel in this photo.

The phraseology of the caption is purely hypothetical, for the purpose of making a political point. The photographer loves most people, thinks almost everyone is good and decent, and would never endanger herself or others, except perhaps to endanger an attacker who had initiated lethal force against her, in the gravest extreme of self defense situations.

No people or cute animals were injured or endangered in the taking of this photo.

Two of us took turns for these photos. Which do you like best, the first or second one?

No Judy:

"I declare to you that woman must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself, and there I take my stand." -- Susan B. Anthony

How sad that so many modern women who call themselves "feminists", would rather see women disarmed.

I don't understand why women, who fought so hard for their rights, seem to think a woman has no right to protect herself. I guess they think only about free sex.

I like picture #2. Better detail. Probably look good on a t-shirt, It'd let a potential bad guy know what's gonna be coming for him at 1400 FPS.

I was assaulted twice before I was twenty, one was an attempted date rape, the other was a date that turned into a kidnapping. After that I quit college, joined the army, became a military police officer, learned how to fight, and became an expert sharpshooter. It did wonders for my self confidence.

They, even the self-styled feminists, don't care about what's good for women at all. They only "care" when it furthers their political agenda. The rest of the time women's rights just fall by the wayside. The way women are treated in Islamic countries under sharia law is just one salient case in point among many.

I f "they" think most women can't draw and shoot a gun esp. when threatened by an attacker,  they're

bigger bloody FOOLS than we imagined!

Women, how many of you need to watch "Laura Croft, Tomb Raider" again?  I didn't think so!

Rapists are guys that just don't understand what "NO" means. The business end of a gun barrel says it in a way that absolutely NO ONE should misinterpret. In the most extreme cases, "NO" can be espressed very LOUD and clear. Even the dumbest will get the message.

When my wife walks to or from her car in the mall parking lot, she has one hand in her purse gripping her automatic. Her response to anyone so foolish to attempt to attack her will be delivered at 1400 feet per second. As a country girl, she knows how to convert a rooster into a capon.
