Did you ever wonder how Plato so long ago was able to identify the political climate in this nation today so exactly?
Often my understanding of Plato is corrupted, for I don’t see much of the premise of his identification of ‘it is the experience of the relativism of the individual determining reality.’ I’m kinda of the diametric opposite of the modern American philosopher who gave us; ‘it depends on what your meaning of is, is?’ Old school it is easier for me to accept that reality exists as a constant the same as all the physics of the universe we know are constant.
Yet when I stop and reflect on the current state of this nation, and the citizens in this nation, I’m always amazed that Plato identified this nation’s citizens so exact, it seems he must live among us today.
Our current scenario of a government; is there any greater identification than that of Plato? It seems so simple, myopic, but boy does it identify this nation’s citizens to exact proportion; ‘those who are not concerned with politics are destined to be ruled by inferiors!’ From my simple vantage point, it seems impossible to ever conceive any nation could find one more inferior as qualified for any government position than our present disaster.
Yet we must remember the foundations of how any society could possibly reach such disastrous decisions.
To begin we must first look at the society we have today that uses terms so without meaning, but some mantra of dogmatic nihilism advanced in this nation, society accepts the dogma, while refuting the facts. How is that possible?
The icon of this nation today we can see in the ‘Allegory of a Cave,’ by Plato. For those who have forgotten, the story line is simple. Man, the citizens, are confined to only see straight ahead, can’t look around them, and are mute—not even realizing there are others in the same circumstance. Each man, with blinders so the only perception available is straight ahead, in the back of the cave in which he is chained and harnessed.
Behind him, there is a bridge. Behind the bridge is a fire. So when the fire is lit, and a bright light is emitted, it cast the shadow of the bridge upon the back wall of the cave—the only perception, as Plato identified of man—that the citizens can see.
Upon the bridge, the puppeteers, those who wish to control society…the analogy, pass that which is then silhouetted as a cast shadow on the back wall of the cave. Resulting of course that the knowledge, the understanding, or if we prefer even the reality of the citizens is only what the puppeteers present for observation.
Is this not the American nation today? Think of this sad scenario. Today we have those who are concerned with the preservation of this nation. Now the question is, can we say the political parties are concerned with this nation’s preservation? If they were, would we not be able to see by their actions what they are doing to show they are determined to preserve this nation? Think of that for one moment, then I think you’ll be shocked that if we remove the ‘theater’ of political gamesmanship from the political arena; you’ll find little—no that’s incorrect—nothing is done to preserve the philosophical ideals of this nation. Replaced with the effort to gain power, to be in charge of spending this nation’s wealth for the advancement of the party…one could say following the template of communism not our design.
Are any not chained and manipulated? As one thinks of that the only group that comes to mind is the Tea Party Revolution. Now some would say what about Obomanites, they are active in political activity? That’s an important point—and one that is forgotten when we look at the simple litmus test of…preserving this nation’s wonder. For ask yourself, in the five years of nihilism of this administration, name one thing, one legislative action, one law passed for this nation’s preservation? Or to make it a simpler evaluation, to adhere to the oath of office of all political government employees; ‘to preserve and protect the constitution of the States united in America.’ You’ll realize that there are none that are for this criterion, and many to circumvent the ‘enumerations’ of that design.
If we stop to think for a minute, what percent of society does this avocation of preserving this nation represent? There are many who say they are Tea Party members, but their numbers are swamped by those who don’t care actively. They hide under the guise of I’m an independent, or some other title many nefarious, mostly non descriptive. Leaving the small kernel of active and cognitive activist less than 1% of the population, the number of those who listen to any talk radio on a daily basis to keep attuned to the concern Plato was identifying.
It increases as a percent of the voting population; one could hypothesize perhaps as great as 4% of the voting population. Isn’t that heartfelt? To realize that perhaps only 4 % vote for this nation—while 96%—are voting for what they can get from government…the exact inverse of what this nation’s government was designed for.
Strangely 4% is the proven amount of Democratic Party voting fraud in every presidential election. Isn’t that odd, that those who are concerned for this nation are neutralized by those who vote fraudulently; is it any wonder that the Democrats are so worried about little things, like voter identification?
Plato identified the problem. Our citizens are not blinded, they are institutionalized by the mantra, the propaganda, the indoctrination of everything that opposes this nation’s ethnicity, its culture, the mores, morals, and most important destroying the religious foundations of this nation. These are not the shadow of some hypothesis; these are the facts of what has happened in this nation.
That is the question? What will it take to make people throw off the shackles of indoctrination to do as the cultural communism of Antonio Gramsci identified; ‘we do not talk about religion, money, or politics,’ making the perfect subjects for the advancement of incompetence.
