Destroy the family, You Destroy the Country!

I recently attended a discussion on aging given by Tim Dutton from Sarasota County Openly Promotes Excellence. Tim pointed out that Florida has the oldest population of all fifty states. He also noted that Sarasota County has the oldest population of all of the 3,500 counties in the United States. Tim looks at Sarasota as a petri dish to learn more about how to cater to those over 55. I, however, look at this as a looming disaster facing not only Sarasota County and Florida but countries around the world. The title of this column is a direct quote  from Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, the first leader of the former Soviet Union.

Lenin's vision was for the state (Communism) to replace the family as the provider of all things necessary for life and happiness. What Lenin did not foresee was his political policies leading to the eventual extinction of Russian civilization. Please let me explain.

Everything from our national security, economy, and future well-being depends on our ability to procreate.

Jerome Koch in the American Thinker column, "Where Have All the Children Gone? " states, "As Mark Steyn quipped, '...a people that won't multiply can't go forth or go anywhere. Those who do will shape the age we live in.'"

Jerome refers in his column, using multiple sources, to the Total Fertility Rates (TFR) measured in children per female across the globe.  Jerome reports:

...[T]hat from a TFR of 4.78 in 1970, the global fertility rate fell to 2.56 in 2010. If one is to glance at individual nations, he will notice that some of the lowest rates are in Europe and the former USSR. Poland has a TFR of 1.26, Romania's is 1.20, and the Ukraine's is under 1.3. In Italy, Greece, Spain, France, the UK, Germany and Portugal the TFRs are below 1.5. Scandinavia as a whole fares a little better with TFR's just under 1.9 children per female. But, before these north European nations put themselves on their backs, it should be noted that Scandinavia has very large and fertile Islamic minority population. It is the immigrant populations that are reproducing, and not the hosts." [My emphasis]

Any culture whose TFR falls below 1.8 children per female cannot recover and will become extinct.

How does America fare in all of this? According to Jonathan:

"The fertility trends in the United States mirror global trends.  Jonathan Last pointed out  that our fertility rates have been falling ever since our Founding.  From an average of over 7 children per female in  the late 18th Century to a nadir of less than 2.1 during the Great Depression, it was only the period 1945-1965 did our TFR's actually increase.  During the Baby Boom years the TFR reached a peak in 1960 (3.6 children per female).  But by 1980 our TFR sank to 1.8 . It currently stands at just over 2.0 (2.06) thanks in large part to immigration (both legal and illegal)"

What is keeping America's fertility rate up are immigrants - both legal and illegal.

There are those in America who are continuously attacking the family, bent on redefining marriage and have established anti-family government programs. This has led to downward pressure on our national total fertility rate. All of these actions are done in the name of various causes such as: reducing unwanted pregnancies, delaying child bearing to further career goals and even promoting childlessness and promoting adoption as a better option.

Child bearing has become something distasteful to many women, an unwanted and painful experience to be avoided rather than embraced.

All of these programs, ideals and ideologies are doing one thing and one thing only - reducing America core TFR to the point of no return. The White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) population in America is headed for extinction and with it our economy, well-being and survival as a uniquely America culture.

This county is dying not because it is aging, it is dying because of infertility as public policy.

This is insanity! I have been dying to have a child for years...we just found out that we have Fertility issues, thanks to my husbands heart attack. We are currently seeing a Fertility Doctor and I go in for my IUI next Tusesday...the chances that we could have twins are very high...we are both VERY happy at the possiblity. We already have the infor that we need to home school because I don't trust our Education people to do the right thing and keep their Liberal wackiness OUT of it all.

I know that planned parenthood is good in KILLING off immigrent children lol but I fell that they need to be defunded, Kids who are having kids should they decide to do the right thing and have the child and give it up for adoption, they should have to sign a paper that states that they are going to give the child up and there should be no way that the kid having the kid can change her mind, that would allow more people to adopt and allow more children to stay alive. You have all these hollyweird freaks adoping kids....NONE OF THEM ARE AMERICAN CHILDREN! That is wrong...they do that for the liberal celebration...for the "Oh wow you are so nice to take that kid from such a bad country." effect...I think it is discusting!

Don't you think, Gregg, that PARENTS deserve a huge piece of the blame for the facts that there kids doesn't go to church? They wine that they 'CAN'T' get their pre-teen and teen kids to get up and go to church. Well, parents a generation ago didnt have that problem - you went or else.

The destruction of the family unit is Progressive Public Policy.  It has been a Progressive goal since at least the very late 1800's.  One goal is for the school system to indoctrinate children in Progressive ideology across all classes and ethnic groups.  Why else would we have an unConstitutional Department of Education.  It's lavishly funded all the while being a massive failure in terms of teaching our children basic and advanced courses needed to succeed in the job market?

I view the Department of Education as an utter failure in traditional terms.  The more money thrown into education guarantees we fall farther and farther behind other first-world nations.  The main goal of the school system is  first and foremost  to indoctrinate children with Progressive ideologies, not to teach them the academics required for success in the job market.  Their goal IS the breakdown of public morality to advance their agenda to teach:

o  Glorification of the State (i.e., the Federal Government) and its achievements, enhancing its failures vis-a-vis the Progressive agenda;

o  Nothing in school history books teach Americas' failures.  They cover up, to the greatest extent possible, wrongs by Federal and State governments (i.e., slavery, genocide against American Indians, internment of loyal Japanese-Americans during WW II, etc.).  Hence, they learn not to question authority;

o  The Progressive agenda of wealth redistribution from rich to the poor via the progressive income tax and redistribution to the poor;

o  How unfair it is to allow people to become rich in the first place;

o  How unfair it is to allow inheritance of wealth;

o  That the rich are stealing from them (well, in narrow instance, I partially agree with them considering the bailouts (socialization of losses) led by both Democrats and Republicans, of banks, AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, failing industrial concerns, from massive losses by due to wildly risky investing during the housing bubble and subsequent meltdown, and by generations of mismanagement of companies like GM.)

They should have been allowed to fail, wiping out their stockholders, and reorganized under existing bankruptcy statutes.  To me, their is no such thing as TBTF (too big to fail).  A central tenet of the marketplace is that creative destruction punishes failure caused by, for example, highly risky behavior and rewards creativity, aggressiveness, wise and prudent behavior in managing assets such as cash;

o   To disregard not only their parents belief system and moral values while indoctrinating them in Progressive values and a general lack of morality;

o   To be unquestioning little cogs in the vast machine of the State;

o   It is wrong to question authority;

My observation is that both Political parties are infected with Progressive ideology, each towards their own constituency.  It is a contest between which party can deliver the most "goods" to their favored special interest groups.

It is well nigh impossible to accomplish the eradication of Progressive ideals by working from within either establishment political party.  Progressive ideology must be destroyed from the outside.  Advancing the Tea Party to major party status is a necessity, while remaining true to the clearly articulated Constitutional Republic.  Surpassing one or both current parties in popular support, while remaining untainted by special interest groups and Progressive ideals would a very sweet rejection.of the elites  It will be a very long and hard road.  A major opportunity, presented in massive fiscal and monetary failure by the State, could present a very risky but powerful acceleration of the Tea Party to major party status.

Remember that fifty percent of Americans pay no income taxes and are net beneficiaries of State handouts.  This  eliminates them as stakeholders in a Constitutional Republic.  They have no desire to end their addiction to State handouts.  They constitute very powerful opposition.

Forty-three million Americans are on food stamps.  Hardly a sign that all is well economically in America.  The poor are trapped in a system blocking opportunities for well paying jobs.  There are also shanty towns springing up around the United States just like the last Depression.  Again this is hardly a sign that all is well and good with our economy.  It will result in further breakdowns of morality.

The young reject church and God, in part by the States war against religion and religious displays of any sort.  Another lost opportunity to teach right behavior and morality.

Constant inflation, decreasing the dollar's purchasing power, encourages a "party-like attitude to a spend and charge it" mentality.  Saving is discouraged because savings lose value year after year due to debasement of the dollar.  Another detriment to moral behavior.  Moral behavior encourages self reliance including saving for the future.  Can our savings outstrip inflation? Now we expect the State to take of us in our old age.

Constant inflation has had a devastating effect on real weekly earnings.  It has dropped from $300 to today's $100, measured in constant dollars, in a relatively short time.  Is it any wonder that both parents have to work?  Is it any wonder why birth rates are dropping?  It's very difficult to juggle family life with full-time employment, if you still have a job, that is..

You may laugh, but in my opinion to the observed loss of values and morals, are to a great extent attributable to the dollars constant loss of value.  The State can only be generous to their voting blocs by the ability to print money out of thin air.  It is a fiat currency with an intrinsic value of a piece of paper, i.e. nothing.  Today's dollar is backed only by the "full faith and credit of the US Government".  Well, I have no faith in them and they have no credit with me.  Let me explain.

From the founding of the founding of the United States money was gold and silver.  A hard money system.  Large amounts of gold and/or silver is quite bulky and heavy.  So gold and silver certificates were issued, in proportion to the gold and silver in the system, redeemable in gold and/or silver coinage.  The State could not manipulate the supply of currency in circulation.  If they printed currency willy-nilly bank runs would occur as people queued up to exchange paper notes for gold and silver coinage.  Due to fractional reserve banking banks only keep a fraction of their deposits as reserves.  They loan out the rest;  A bank run can cause massive bank failures nationwide.

The Federal government had powerful incentive to maintain honest money.  While the hard money system lasted, Federal debt was generally low in accordance with the Founding Father's intent.  In fact, the King of England forbade the use of fiat paper money in the American Colonies in 1750 due to failed experiments with fiat paper money.  Our Founders were well  versed in the inherent danger of fiat paper money.

A universal characteristic of fiat paper money is that politicians, driven by their constituents, cannot long resist the temptation to print more money to give the people "something for nothing".  This class of monetary policy always generates inflation in the prices of every class of goods and services. There has never been a successful use of fiat currencies.  They always revert to their intrinsic value of zero.  So will ours and it won't be pretty when it happens.  The demonstrations in Wisconsin will look like a picnic in comparison.

We went off the gold standard in 1914 after the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913.  Congress legislated away its responsibility for coinage, contained in Article I, section 8, paragraph 5, of the Constitution that states: "The Congress shall have the Power..." "To COIN [ed. emphasis] money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;"  This act was an outrageous repudiation of the Founders clear and unequivocal rejection of fiat paper money in favor of hard, precious metals currency

But the dollar remained convertible into gold for sovereign central banks.  Lyndon Johnson's great escalation of the Vietnam war required vast amounts of treasure. [As does Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Lybia].  His Great Society program likewise required vast amounts of cash to give away to the nascent Democratic voting bloc. The Federal government could not ply special interest groups with cash if they couldn't print fiat money.at will.

Sovereign banks realized the Federal Reserve Banks massive printing of new dollars.  They began redeeming their dollars for gold at $35 per troy ounce.  At that time, due to excess dollar creation, an ounce of gold was worth a lot more than $35 per troy ounce.  General Charles de Gaulle of France was a very vocal proponent for redemption of dollars into gold.  (We've always had a curiously hostile relationship with France.)

Then Richard Nixon was elected President.  He realized US gold reserves were rapidly shrinking.  He should have  taken the unpleasant medicine, and politically unpopular policy, required to withdraw excess dollars from circulation.  That policy would have returned the dollar to its former value of $35 per ounce of gold and ended the of our gold reserves.  Instead he unilaterally declared that the dollar would no longer be convertible into gold.

Now the politicians and the Federal Reserve were completely free to print as much money as they wanted to. And did they.  They used the new dollars to buy up, as an example, large voting blocs.  If you were alive during this period, give it some real thought,and see if you may agree with me that the decline in American behavior and morals roughly coincided with the Presidencies of Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.

I apologize for the length of this post.  Once I get on a roll it's hard for me to stop.

Extinct the Wasp.

Import the SOBs (South of the Borders)

Spoon feed the ones on welfare to have babies.

If you do all this, who will be paying the food bill for everyone in 30 years from now.  It will be hard to take a government piece of paper to the grocery store to get food.

Time to go back to work america.  If the liberals want socalism, go to a country where it is used.

21 years ago, I was lead to read , the book of Deuteronomy.  Learning all I could about obedience to God.  He had me on a journey, for obedience to Him.  There I found, this profound reading.  In the 28th chapter, verses 1-14, were listed, the blessings from being obedient. Very simple and basic.  Verses 15-68, tell of the curses we will incur, from disobedience.  This to me, then, as now, made me think of our, once blessed  land (The U.S.), became cursed.  We became disobedient and thought of ourselves mightier, than The Almighty.  I challenge all Americans to get their Bible and read the whole book of Deuteronomy for insight, that was there all along, since the Book was inspired.  We lack a lot of, Fruit of the Spirit (Galarians 5); love,joy, peace, patience, kindness,goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Lord, help us as a Nation to realize, the truth, has been there ...all along.  God...please Bless America, once again.

Another factor is that women seem to think they can put career first and then, when established, have their children. But they wait too long and have trouble conceiving in their late 30s. What they should do logically is have their children first as nature intends and then have their careers as children need less of their time. Even at age 40 or so they would have 20 or more years for the career.
