Congressman Allen West - Speaking the Truth. If you haven't watched or listened to his story please do then watch video

Only two blacks were newly elected to congress this cycle, and both are Republican. LTC. Allen West is from southern Florida, a bastion of the Democratic Party. He won in a walk.

It is worth the viewing. This new Congressman was an extremely popular commander in Iraq. He was forced to retire because during an intense combat action a few of his men were captured. At the same time his men had captured one of the guys who were with the Iraqis who captured his men.

This is not my account of the happenings:

Knowing that time was crucial and his interrogators were not getting anywhere with the prisoner COL West took matters into his own hands. He burst into the room and demanded thru an interpreter that the prisoner tell him where his men were being taken. The prisoner refused so COL West took out his pistol and placed it into the prisoner's crotch and fired. Then the COL told the prisoner that the next shot would not miss. So the prisoner said he would show where the American service members were being taken. The Americans were rescued. Some one filed a report on incorrect handling of prisoners. COL West was forced to retire. COL West was just elected in November 2010 to Congress from Florida. During the elections he was part of a panel on how to handle or how to relate to Muslims. I have always felt that LBJ was a player in the death of Kennedy. I do not think that the death of J.F.K.JR. was an accident.

Just my thoughts on the way our Gov. goes to whatever extreme deemed necessary to achieve the end goal.

We speak of the desire for legitimate government, versus a pyramid government that keeps growing beyond that conceived by the founders; a government which seeks to sustain its own livelihood and benefits by cultivating programs aimed at getting themselves the re-elected. It seems to me that by legitimizing the recognition of special groups it defeats the purpose of

representative government in which we are all equal, versus institutionalized polarization and special treatment. Each candidate should be asked if government as the founders envisioned intended the special recognition of of race and color.

I'm not asking anyone to agree with his vote, but rather to take the time to determine if he is a traitor or incompetent. Boehner and McConnell, IMO are a little of both, and should be primaried for their faulty leadership since 2010. Rep. West however, did not create these bills, he had to make a yes/no choice which brings into question his strategy, not his character. I for one, have come to agree with his primary objective of winning in 2012 at which time we can reverse course, and otherwise will lose the fight. The staging to the 2012 fight here is forcing a "clean" BBA as the conditions have already been set, and force spending cuts by democrats, something that has never been done. Incrementalism in the other direction, even at a net loss, it's pushing back instead of watching from the sidelines. Traitors and fools must go. Let's just not assume that our reps are corrupt b/c we differ on strategy.

Don't you realize that he followed his conscience and voted the way he thought best for America? Just suppose the TP held out and held out and held out. Who knows what would have happened. The result may have been far worse.
