As a black conservative Tea Party patriot, I have been struggling with what I should do, if anything, in response to the rash of incidents of racial violence resulting from the Martin/Zimmerman case. Folks, a great evil is running the show in our country right now.
Prolific race-hustler Al Sharpton is heralded as a hero. http://bit.ly/IIUZR5 Attorney General Eric Holder ignores the New Black Panther “dead or alive” bounty on George Zimmerman. http://bit.ly/HM1Aiq Three major TV networks are caught manipulating facts of the Martin/Zimmerman case to fuel racial hatred and anger. http://bit.ly/HchWtZ Minister Farrakhan tweeted referring to the Martin/Zimmerman case, “Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon and very soon, the law of retaliation may very well be applied.”http://yhoo.it/GPnyxc

Rather than showing pictures of 6'3” seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin, nearly every TV news broadcast features pictures of Trayvon as an adorable little boy in his little league football uniform. This is done by design to further the media's storyline: innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man. Zimmerman is not white. He is Hispanic. To further the mainstream media storyline, the New York Times has deemed Zimmerman, a “white” Hispanic. http://wapo.st/HilSiA
I do not know what transpired between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. I do know that the Race Industry has gone to extraordinary, dishonest lengths to promote its innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man storyline.
Even president Obama despicably and masterfully fueled the flames of racial hatred by saying, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon”. http://bit.ly/HTrpcO As a seasoned professional politician, president Obama surely knew his comment would up the ante of black rage.
So yes, as Christian and as patriot, I wondered, what should I do to help calm the storm of Martin/Zimmerman related racial violence? Should I rally black conservatives to denounce the violence and call for unity at a press conference? No, the liberal biased mainstream media would not cover such a press conference. Non-victim-minded blacks do not fit the media-desired image of America. Blacks who love their country without resentment toward fellow Americans who are white are as repulsive to the mainstream media as showing Dracula the cross.
Well, what about a racial peace rally – blacks and whites standing together, singing songs and talking about unity. No, Obama's SEIU thugs and/or the New Black Panthers could exploit the event by showing up to assault patriots.
Remember Kenneth Gladney, the black conservative who was beaten and sent to the emergency room by SEIU thugs at a town hall meeting during the health care debates? http://bit.ly/OCx7g Many believe Gladney's beating was in response to Obama White House's clarion call to “push back twice as hard” and get in the faces of those opposing Obamacare.
The mainstream media will never tell the truth about black-on-white crime. When reporting incidents of black-on-white violence, the media walks a tightrope, bending over backwards to avoid mentioning race. And yet I heard a report on the radio in which the reporter, without hesitation, up front and in your face said five “black” men were shot by a “white” male in a white pickup truck. This type of story fits the racist image that the media desires to portray of white America. According to the media, blacks are ALWAYS the victims and never the aggressors. http://bit.ly/IBgnXa
So how do we right-thinking, decent Americans counter all the racial hate, evil and violence, fueled by media and the Obama administration, that's contaminating our great country?
Mary is away, up north visiting family. Thus, I found myself in the grocery store checkout line with my shopping cart one-third full. An elderly white gentleman in line behind me had two items. “Excuse me sir – you can go in front of me.” He gleefully replied, “Thank you very much.” After the cashier had bagged his items and given the elderly white gentleman his change, he thanked me again.
I thought, that's it! For now, until God leads me otherwise, I can simply continue doing what I, along with millions of my fellow Americans, do every day: seize every opportunity to spread racial harmony and kindness. I know that sounds corny, but I know it is the right thing to do.
Despite what the Race Industry would have you believe, a majority of Americans are not at each other throats, divided along racial lines. Most Americans are over “the race thing.” Americans live, work and play together just fine. Interracial marriage is far from being the big deal it was in the past. Unfortunately, it is the mission of the mainstream media, the Obama administration and race profiteers to keep the Race Industry alive and profitable. These people (race instigators and exploiters) are evil.
Therefore, it is up to us – proud responsible Americans – to continue sowing seeds of racial harmony, brotherhood and peace.

I was born in the 1950's, i am a white man, so i have seen the progress we have made regarding race relations in America. I see the people at the store i go to, most are still friendly, but since the Zimmerman/Martin incidence, some seem to be pulling back in how the respond to my greetings. I raised my 7 children to always judge a person acording to there words and action, never based on differences in color. This case alone is setting all we have fought so hard to acomplish back. It is hard to believe, but true, this is all for political gain. I had so hoped when Obama was elected the first black President, race relations would get even better. He has divided America. We are all Americans, not black Americans and white Americans. I fear to see where this will lead.
Comment by Jay Walker on April 19, 2012 at 3:12am Lloyd, your photograph reminds me of the time just a few years ago, when my blonde, grey-eyed, teenage daughter was walking around after church with her black friend. With their arms around each other, they gleefully approached me with the remark, "We're sisters! See the resemblance?" It was one of the proudest moments of my life.
It seems to me that we, as Americans, will truly be free when we can look each other in the eye, and see the resemblance, and not get side-tracked by the differences.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the integrity and balance you insert into the histrionics of the blame-stream reporting. May our God continue to bless you as you seek to spread His love.

Sharpton and Jackson only get involved in the death of a black person if it was a white person who caused it. Otherwise, they couldn't care less. Not only do they not help their own, they discredit whites so bad that they can't help either. What has happened to the black community shouldn't have happened to a dog!

I believe that LLoyd meant to mean that Mr. Zimmerman is not just a 'white'. My son is Mexican American (from my side) and from his fathers side he is Slovakian and German; but if one was to look at his skin coloring and judge him, then they would say that he is 'Hispanic'; which I know that to mean that he is Latino. "Hispanic" refers to persons from Spain, Portugual or Iberian nations that speak Spanish. ("Hispanola" = "Spain" in Spanish).
"Latino" refers to persons from the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic), South America (Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, etc.) and Central America (Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, etc.) (All Latin America) - which were colonized by Spain and hence, speak Spanish.

Community is a good and powerful concept. Without God, or without acknowledging His proper place at the center of our lives, we make false gods.
In the Black community, in any community, even in our churches-- when we substitute the judgment of the community over our own God-given moral compass, we succumb to moral relativism.
Compare the clamoring voices of the self-anointed Black community leaders, to the calm and measured words of Herman Cain and Allen West, two men of color who have been inspired to share their vision of America with ALL Americans:

If the standard used to justify calling Obama black is applied to Zimmerman, then Zimmerman could indeed be called Hispanic - hence a minority. However, minority on minority crime could not be manipulated by Sharpton and Obama and the media. I don't know what happened in Sanford and I doubt that anyone does unless they were present, but it sounds like Mr. Zimmerman was part of a neighborhood watch team. Neighborhood watches have been highly praised in the press as a means of reducing neighborhood violence. This did not become a story until the players had time to manipulate, cut and paste until it fit their storyline. This is not about Travon, this is about an agenda.
Comment by Ed Stoneham on April 17, 2012 at 11:53am Lloyd, you are a very clear thinker. Your conclusion is sound. My approach is the same. Approach everyone as a potential friend. If you are snubbed, chalk it up to misinformation, but don't take it personally.
Politicians will always seek to divide and conquer. The solution here is to give them as little power as possible. That is the purpose of the Constitution. The best way to counter the divisive influences of politicians is to enforce the Constitution. More than 70% of federal government activities now are unconstitutional. If we can cut the government down to 30% of its current size, the race baiting will drop off accordingly and may even reach a level of insignificance.

If you are white, marry a black or Asian or Amerindian. If you are black, marry a white, Asian or Amerindian. If you are Asian, marry a white, black or Amerindian. If you are Amerindian, marry white, black or Asian. If you are already mixed race, marry someone of a race not in your background. This needs to be done for only 4 generations and we will all be some of everyone. Then we can start on religion :-)
