Black History Month Is Perfect Time to Demand Obama Impeachment Now

Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke eloquently and forcefully about an America where black people were forced to endure a shameful condition.  Well, black people can look no further than the White House to find a man who has been perpetrating a fraud and a shameful condition against black Americans for five years.

Most every black family  and most likely every young black child who lived anywhere in America had to be celebrating the day that Barack  Obama took the oath of office as the first person of color to occupy the White House as president.  Now a half decade later, those same black families and same black adults and teens have seen their incomes, life savings and job opportunities spiraling downward like an avalanche.

Five years into the Barack Obama’s presidency, the number of African-Americans participating in the labor force has hit rock bottom and now threatens to even go through the basement floor, according to the U.S. Labor Department.  Consider the direness of the situation.  In January, exactly a year after Obama began his second term of office, “the drop in labor force participation was sharpest for African Americans, who saw a decline of 0.3 percentage points to 60.2 percent, the lowest rate since December of 1977,” according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Those are statistics which would have sent Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton and legions of NAACP marchers heading for Washington to demonstrate against the occupant of the White House.  Instead, these same certified hypocritical black leaders of the Afro-American community have given Obama a “Stay out of Impeachment Hall Pass.”

This is more than frightening when one considers that each and every black pastor that prays over the body of a young black teen that was caught in the cross-fire of black-on-black crime should now be speaking out about Obama.  Where is the hue and cry this month of black celebration from these men and women of the cloth, who know that these kids and their families need jobs and opportunities and not bullets and funerals?

But, yet the halls of worship are as silent as the ideas that are emanating from the Oval Office for remedying the problems that weigh as anchors around the necks of dispossessed black families in America.

Ellen Purcell; I didn't just pick out a punishment out of a hat, That IS, the punishment for treasonous acts against the constitution! Not prissonment, or some other punishment to be decided. Obama is a "Traitor". He has run his little dog and pony show, going around Congress, whenever they disagree with him. He has overreached his authority in changing the "law" on several occasions concerning Obama-care alone. Laws can only be changed by Congress, and only congress is allowed to write laws. Were you aware of that?

Are you aware that Obama has lied to the American on national TV? Not just once, but several times and it is documented for everyone to view over and over if you wish.

Benedict Arnold was hung for treasonous acts against our newly formed country and government. Are you aware that Benedict Arnold was also an "American hero" before he turned on his countrymen and this great nation? We didn't cut him any "slack", when we learned he was a traitor, AND he was a HERO! What has Obama ever done to get the recognition of hero status? I'm afraid Obama has done nothing, but try to fulfill his father's dream of destroying America. I never said anything about "LYNCHING", that would constitute murder without a trial, (look the word up in the dictionary).

Ellen,

There is a black Republican running for office in Florida who says Obama should be executed for his crimes, as well.  So Kenneth is not alone in his sentiments.

I'm sorry, but I find your remark about hanging (i.e., lynching) the jerk out of order Kenneth - impeach - good, imprison - fine - but let's not speak of lynching.

Obama has single handedly set the Black American community back 50 years! I' talking about the social and economic conditions and issues that they have to suffer through now, due to his administration's policies, that he,"Obama" has personally set into motion! His love for the Muslim community and mind-altering brainwashing by his father, has overshadowed and dominated his every political agenda.

Obama has no love or loyalty for Americans, regardless of their ethnicities, Obama is only concerned for the Muslim Brotherhood. This has been brought to the forefront more and more every day this "Usurper" remains in office! He must be brought up on charges of crimes against the constitution fore which he swore an oath to uphold. If Obama is found guilty, he MUST, be hung by the neck until dead, as an example to all that would think they are above the law and the will of the people of this great nation!

I LIKE everything about this blog but the headline.  Impeachment now is mastabatory because the Senate is controlled by a Democrat who would never let an impeachment trial reach the floor for prosecution.  In my opinion, we gotta wait for a big win in the November election to get ANYTHING done.  Best always, John R.

The House votes to Impeach, The Senate holds the trial..

Being the only identifiable (in decades) San Francisco native born conservative Republican in decades to engage in hands on interacting community and multi-cultural diverse projects and events, including serving on executive boards, I firmly believe that if the only tactical, strategical goodwill and marketing approach anti-Obama activists have in their arsenal of public and political talent is to engage in impeaching a president whose term is ending anyway, then we have learned nothing from history, ancient and recent decades. However,  I am totally opposed to capitulating and pandering to appease Afro American voters or any special ethnic cultural populations.  However, given that most of us do not have the near bottomless well of financial resources or personal staff to do our bidding, applying singular style of pitbull approach wears thin and still fails to prove that our conservative shaped solutions are more positive, practical, relevant solutions to elevate the opportunity for a better quality of life for those not fortunate or brainy enough to be of the super comfortable elite, nor Euro white.

There are plenty of white middle aged and over-the-hill male elected Republican governors, U.S. senators, congressmen who committed morally and unpatriotic actions deserving of impeachment, and most of us know who they are but remain inactive in punishing them.  Inasmuch as we generally can't wait until Obama's will end in two years, maybe our  conservative national image from being socially condescending, culturally boorish, or narrow, or unsophisticated or unrefined, with poorly camouflaged closet prejudices and user unfriendly so to speak, are lingering nationwide and global perceptions, like it or not.  Just as we have the right to view everyone who is not us as inferior, then others have just as much right to view us as we come across collectively.  Even I keep my distance far away from several far right conservatives in my own state for their lack of social class and perpetually hateful dispositions.  I limit my dealings with them sparingly when we have to ceremonially join forces to promote or support a partisan common interests.  The exceptions are sparse.  Instead of the often costly and time consuming disruptive nature of impeachments, given Obama will be a lame duck soon anyway, our energies, our commitment, our resources, enthusiasm and available personal political talents would generate greater productive results by simply focusing on identifying, grooming, supporting and electing more conservatives to public office.  Focusing on even electing conservatives to localized public office, Republican or otherwise, sets the stage from where they can more credibly catapult to state and national seats.  There is no guarantee, given how voters still resent most Republican incumbents for failing to legislate better alternatives for middle class taxpayers, that the attempt and process of impeaching any high profile Democrat will facilitate an increase of more Republican election campaign victories.  In years or past century, such maneuvers had effects for the partisan party initiating public embarrassment for a U.S. president or other major political figures.  But the choice to identify and adhere solidarity to any one Party is now blurred as both major Parties are dishonest and untrustworthy.  It is also an antiquated view to assume that impeaching will not have nasty long term repercussion between the chalk white folks of any partisan line and the nonEuro cultural voters whose votes and trust still have to be earned.  Republican pandering and condescending approach to anyone who is not bleached white, nor willing to stick to an unenllightened, boring campaign script has not worked these past decades.  The GOP, and especially its conservatives, still have a myopic approach which, that alone, alienates those of us with much more diverse culturally contemporary style and more refined, sophisticated intellects not perceived of either Afro Americans or ethnic cultural immigrants and new citizens in decades past.

For  the amount of unearned annual salaries and lifelong bloated pensions and generous health benefits, senators and congressmen should expend their time as supposedly "public servants" instead of elected nobility to finish reforms and other fiscally responsible legislation favoring the hardworking yet struggling taxpayers and their families which include thousands of low income returning wounded military veterans.  Talk is cheap, but delivering results is the best campaign tactic to win over more voters.

The current Senate will never rule to impeach......and even if they did.....what then? Clinton stayed in office after his impeachment.  This POS needs to be physically removed. How? I don't know. constitutional? NO.  But the Declaration (in paragraph 2) gives us, we the people, a 'call to action' (so to speak)...when govt usurps it's authority.....which is exactly the situation we're in now.

Just how is impeachment of the president initiated?  The short answer is that a representative of the House must commence with impeachment proceedings.  So far to date, no representative has initiated such proceedings against Obama.  There has been two aspiring Tea Party candidates who say they would support impeachment.  It's going to take someone with balls of steel to do what it takes to do so.

I hope the country will survive long enough to see 0 out the door.
