A company here in America that makes assault rifles for our military, puts bible verses in the serial numbers of all our soldiers weapons. The progressives are a little upset by this, and now Muslim organizations are unhappy as well, get this, they think this will UPSET our enemies, first Gitmo, what next? Now they will say this is mixing state and religion. We must stand up with this company and support them. They have been doing this for years, our solders new about it, and they like it. I don't know who brought this to everyone's attention but it is going to be a battle we should side with. This is not mixing state and religion, we can no longer stand by and let these people twist our Constitution and Bill of Rights into something it is not. Our forefathers did not want the church to take over the nation, they did not want us to remove all traces of God from America. Someone should take the Atheist organization's to court for interfering with our right to Freedom of Religion, which any idiot knows means the right to pray anywhere in this great nation.

Hi dmoney, yes i saw this on Fox News, it saddens me, but it does not surprise me. We lost this war without firing a shot, pun intended. I had hoped we could contact them and back them up on this. They have been doing this for 40 years from what i heard. Maybe once we get our nation back on track we can fix this. This is not mixing state and religion.

Sorry to report, but I read an AP article on this issue this morning, and it seems as though the pressure was too great upon Trijicon. They had to relent and stop using scripture on newly manufactured optical sights. Existing units will have to have the markings removed with a company-supplied kit.

Unfortunately, another loss for God and you and I. But at least the troops are not endangered. They still have access to their ACOGs and can continue to focus on their duties with the clearest possible vision.

Psalm 144: blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hand for war and my fingers for battle.

Yes Danny, the “progressive” organizations that are attacking weapon-sight manufacturer Trijicon are attacking God, but they are also attacking our troops.

Optical sights such as the ones made by Trijicon are highly sought after by our service members—so much so, that many purchased them with their own money. They allow our military personnel to not only reach out and touch the terrorists at long range, but also to engage them quickly in close-quarters combat and in low-light situations.

By suggesting that one of the premier sight manufacturers in the world is biased towards Christianity, the destructive libs could cause our government’s contract with the manufacturer to be cancelled—thus denying our troops from using a very effective tool that gives them the edge. I really hope that this is not what they intend. To impede our soldiers from performing their duties overseas and to needlessly endanger them is unacceptable, and in fact despicable.

At the very least, this heartless attack might require that time-consuming modifications of existing weapons systems take place, or that the company stop a revered tradition they have kept for over 30 years. Yes, at a minimum, it is mean-spirited and spiritless. At a maximum, it is disarming our military. As for me, I support God, Trijicon and our troops, and I don't care who I offend.
